- Fire Emblem Fates is now 3 years old. And something I didn't fully realize when making my first video is that my channel anniversary would also be the same day Fire Emblem Fates came out. So, in celebration, I decided to make a sequel to my first video. Enjoy!

Hey, really nice video. I do think you're segment "title cards"/transitions were a bit lengthy (over ten seconds is far too long, even if you're trying to sync it to the music). I know its been over a year since this was uploaded, so I don't know if you still do this, but its worth noting. As for the actual content covered, I do want to note something when it comes to names: You state that many of the names were shortened when localized, and while the names are indeed shorter, the meanings in the original language is changed, some more drastically than others. For example, Suzukaze means "gentle breeze"; Kaze by itself just means "wind". Kazahana means "snowflake"; Hana is "flower". Kisaragi is a surname referring to the second month of the lunar calendar; Kiragi isn't a name, and even less an actual word. As someone who does lots of research in linguistics and etymology, this stuff really bothers me. Not bashing your video - not at all. Its just something I wanted to clarify.
I actually enjoyed fates believe it or not. Although I enjoy almost any game I play.

yusuke kozaki did the portraits for both awakening and fates so to suggest they're different is... kinda not right. sure they're different but like. barely
Its hard to explain, but in Fates they have a sort of filter or something that makes it look like they're on paper. Awakening does not, but the awakening characters that were redrawn for Fates do have this filter.
fates has a line shader, while awakening has a more "comic" lining

fates conquest or shadow of valentia?
Conquest is more challenging but more similar to other Fire Emblems, but SoV is easier, but very different compared to other Fire Emblems. They’re both strong in different aspects, so it depends on what you want. I’d say that Conquest has much better gameplay, while SoV has a much better story. Still, SoV’s gameplay isn’t bad, and Conquest’s story isn’t as awful as people make it sound, though it still isn’t good.

Fates. I love shadows of valentia, but the gameplay is awful. I couldn't tolerate it. Conquest is challenging, fun, fuck chapter 10, and story wise, it's a bit of a twist playing as the "bad guy", the game also has more supports so the characters that dont have much story relevance don't feel empty.
@@sammich6257 Echoes may not have "bad" game design, but it has very few high points amidst all the low points.
Shadows of Valentia had good art, story, and voice acting. Good luck against necro dragon cantors if you don’t have Bow Knights
