- Fire Emblem Three Houses has been a huge game so far. So, to celebrate I thought it would be fun to go through the history of this game and look at the Cut or Unused Content. Enjoy!

5:24 it's hard to tell because it's blurry, but Hilda's portrait seems to be at a different angle, with longer hair too, and Lorenz appears to have a different hairstyle all together

Something i noticed in the E3 2018 trailer is that Hilda is using the female archer model with a bow during battle, even though she uses an axe in the mock battle, it also looks like she has close counter, that or bows were mean to attack/counterattack from 1 range
Can't believe you didn't mention the things people found from datamining the game, including a potential event in which Felix and Annette can end up leaving the blue lions in part 2

@@mehspacedorito I don't have a link but in short, at a point in the BL run, you have to make a choice between Dimitri or Felix around the time of Rodrigue's death. Worst case scenario: the side you didn't choose dies.

In the E3 Reveal trailer the lyrics to Reach for My Hand is slightly different at the end

One thing I did notice in the e3 2018 trailer that isnt in the final game is the "formation" command. I'm assuming this was an early command for gambit.

Ashe is clearly meant to be a golden deer. Golden deer is: 1) Bow focused 2) Most split between nobles and commoners 3) The most friendly. Ashe is 1) an archer 2) technically both a noble and commoner at the same time and 3) a pure ray of sunshine.
So I guess that's why Ashe is my favorite character. He was supposed to be a Deer. I think he fits the Lions better, personally. Granted, the Deer are so varied in personality that he would fit right in (I speak from experience of my first playthrough that I sometimes think he's a Deer,) but he fills a niche the Lions needed.
Graphics of garreg mach are completely different from the reveal trailer shaderwise compared to the final product.
Honestly Ashe being a GD member lines up with how the classes are described. The GD are advertised as being archer heavy which isn’t all that true. The deer have Claude ignatz and leonie as people who excel at bows but the lions have Ashe Felix and Mercedes and the eagles have Bernie and Petra. All the other class summaries match up, the lions have more physical characters having very limited magic users while the eagles are the inverse, with a whopping 4 characters that are good at magic, and only one tank.
Wait, Felix specializes in bows?
Edit: also, 4 magic users in BE? Unless you count Edelgard (Who is more a Jack of all trades if anything), I only see 3.
Mojo1356 el has a magic speciality. Especially considering it’s dark magic instead black that’s noteworthy. Also yes Felix is good with bows.
Crude Carl um, Edelgard is a mixture of Black and Dark magic actually (fire, thunder, Luna, and 1 other spell I’m missing).
Also, you don’t classify Edelgard as a magic user just because she can gain a specialty in reason (that makes Ignatz, Sylvain, and Felix magic users as well).

I'm very sad that the last line in the trailer from Edelgard ("I will return here someday, my teacher...promise me, that you won't forget me...") was omitted from the final game. It's a perfect example of El's desparation towards Byleth and I think it would've made at least some people sympathise with her more if the delivery of it was as good as Cristina Vee's
That, and I'm just massive Edeleth trash lol

on fireemblem reddit there was a mention of additional content for blue lion, where basically you fight against felix and anette in the blue lion route. many speculated it happened after rodrigue sacrified himself to save dimitri because it was mentioned in one of the special dialouges.
Male Byleth also had a different actor. He had Christopher Niosi as his actor, but in the final game he was voiced by Zach Aguilar.
Chris Niosi was his voice in the final game, he was swapped with Zach Aguilar a little while after the game came out.

Ludum40 /Ginnah Chris Niosi was his voice when the game originally released and it stayed that way for some time. He was swapped with Zach Aguilar after the controversy surrounding Niosi was revealed.
Golden Deer Ashe, huh? Not gonna lie, it'd be interesting to see him support with characters like Ignatz and Raphael and Hilda.

something i never seen mentioned is how the games main theme recieved a slight change from the e3 2018 version. as the lyric that says "knowing time betrays" in the final version seems to say "born as time betrays" in the E3 version
The E3 2018 build of Three Houses used the same font as in Fire Emblem Heroes.

Dataminers revealed that Byleth has two different S rank images for Cyril, Catherine, Seteth, and Flayn
Would it be possible to add the cut content back in the game?
It depends, really. Sometimes, things are just locked away, so modders are able to simply put it back into the game. Other times, we have no idea what the purpose of some items were, so alot of guess work has to be done.

Sooo, I'm I the only one who's going to say that they used the models from fire emblem warriors in three houses?
The game runs on koei tecmo's custom engine. It was also codeveloped my koei tecmo, so it makes sense why.
Ashe being in Golden Deer May not necessarily be the case, as there wasn’t a three way battle in that mission so their sides would be indistinguishable based on color alone.
