Yeah; Crimson Flower is the hidden path, you can easily miss the triggers for Flower, and the default is Snow. This again shows why Flower clearly has less work put into it. Hell; before the final mission Edelgard even outright says 'perhaps this isn't the path you were meant to take'. And to make it worse they could have easily stuck Shambalah and Nemesis as 2 extra stages there. @@lucky_crit one thing though. Felix was probably referring to Rodrigue not Lambert. He was likely planned to leave crazy Dimitri and try to defeat him after his fathers death. Dimitri changed after Rodrigue's death though so maybe that was added later?
I think they first wanted to make a lost member of the Aegir house as Ferdinands Description being 'the oldest son' of house Aegir or something like that indicates that there is at least one other child. Then they maybe decided to make a DLC that plays during Jeralts time at Garreg Mach.
A Marianne and Bernie support would’ve both been so depressing yet so fucking fun and interesting to see play out. Hilda and Dorothea’s support would’ve been really interesting as well
@Destiny FateKnight I'd love to see that or Dorthea have a support with Claude lol I also wish Dimitri had a support with Hilda because i can see it being funny lol
@Destiny FateKnight I think that Dimitri would be oblivious more than anything. Unless Dorothea started to actively chasing him like the girl in the support with Sylvain. I am not sure if I would have put it behind her given her support with Felix.
I know it would take a ton of work, but I'm gonna hold out hope that one day we'll get a fire emblem game where all the playable characters have full supports (up to at least A) with each other. No more characters like Rhea in this game where she can only support Byleth, or Reina in Fates who (imo for no good reason) only has supports with Corrin. Like with Rhea, think of how interesting supports with Seteth, Flayn, Cyril, Catherine, Edelgard (maybe before timeskip?), Jeralt, etc could be. The lack of them honestly makes me want to write fanfiction for them. The fanfiction just being supports between characters that don't have them
a scene that for me personally makes no sense cause Felix thinks appeasing the dead is pointless and that the people worth caring about are the living...I mean I can understand Annette betraying the Blue Lions cause her relationship with her mom is important but the bit with Felix doesn't work for me
Felix and Annette as enemy generals in AM combined with the -fake- decision to move the army east or west really drives home the idea that there was a split where you would permanently lose characters. I suppose they took it out because you would lose items and such (also why I think Rodrigue isn't playable) but they could've slapped a "This decision will drastically affect the story" on it.
@@ChoiceSnarf Aye. That's why a lot of us more believe it was related to time constraints. Nintendo let them delay, I think, twice? I don't think Nintendo would let them delay much longer than that. If they did allow them to basically go ahead and do "It's ready when it's ready", who knows what we would've gotten in terms of story.
@@Practitioner_of_Diogenes perhaps an actually good Crimson Flower route that doesn't end in 6 chapters, has more than one cutscene at the end instead of those stills that replace them, actually has the freakin battle at gronder
@@Practitioner_of_Diogenes seriously, it pisses me the hell off! Why the hell was Crimson Flower shafted in favor of the stupid church route? Why did that get more development? I don't want to play through a route that boils down to "gather up your forces and become strong enough to face the eeeevil empire" for a 3rd freakin time, a route that's 80% similar to Verdant Wind!
Ya, in one route, I think it was CF since Judith dies protecting the bridge, but Claude talks to Nader in private so he could have easy called him by that name without any story repercussion.
They should've made a roundtable conference scene and then reveal Claude's name there or just make a similar situation with Flayn and Seteth's paralogue where its a bit similar to what you said or who knows maybe bring in judith.
Man I really wish Jeralt would have been playable. That would make his death actually impactful! instead you only see him a few times in the monetary then in 2 missions right before he dies.
Silver Snow seems to be used more in reference to death. Snow is ephemeral and eventually melts, and Rhea is herself associated with flowers and the fragility of life that comes with it, thus her proper boss theme Funeral of Flowers as flowers die by winter, just as snow melts to make way for spring. Its ironic that a being that is near immortal is associated with how fragile life is.
That, and some forms of immortality aren't absolute, like the Night Elves in the Warcraft universe, LIVE forever but can still die in battle, among other example as well as artificial immortality, but magic, technology and of course magitech. Well, that's just me anyway.
There's so much of this game that feels rushed. I would absolutely have waited another year or 2 for it. If only to have playable Jeralt, units that betray Dimitri and maps in, say, Brigid or Duscur. I also bet Judith would've been playable as well, since she shows up like 3 chapters into the War and is around the REST OF THE GAME. If they had more time we might have actually SEEN Holst. As it is right now, I'm almost convinced that everyone that mentions him are all having a collective fever dream and Holst doesn't actually exist. Seriously. He's talked about like he's a modern day Jeralt how the hell do you not even have a static CG of him?!
You are right. There are so many characters that should have been playable. They should have made Rhea the Lord of the Church Route in my opinion. It is so sad that there won‘t be anymore content updates since the game is still so incomplete.
I wish they added Jeralt. It would have added spice to losing him, the same way how people realize that they lost their main healer in FF7 after Aerith dies.
The game definitely suffers from an overall feeling of being rushed/not fully realized. And yet, everything that they did manage to put into it is so good that it's still one of my favorite games.
@@rhettmitchell i agree!! definitely not the next fire emblem game though because it would kinda suck to loose all of the new game+ shit and also most people would have just gotten of the original so definitely would like to see it but later down the line for sure (:
Really, they could easily put the Khalid plot twist with the introduction with Nader and then Claude explaining his goal to his Class mates after they took over fort Merceus.
Seeing the cut supports for Hilda/Dorathea and Bernadetta/Marianne makes me wish that IS would add the supports back into the game as a free update in the future along with some new supports for the existing cast. I can already see how the support for Dorathea and Hilda would play out in my head, I imagine it being something of a comedic support.
"You heard of Elf on the Shelf, now get ready for Thot in a Pot!" as Hilda tosses a pot at Dorothea. Dorothea gets up having grabbed the pot and angrily retorts "Well get ready for Bitch in a Ditch" as she chases Hilda out of the Cafeteria and down the halls of Garegg Mach "THEY'RE NOT GOING TO FIND YOUR BODY, HILDA"
@@lucky_crit There is speculation that Blue Lions had a minor route split. Gilbert asks the player if they want to invade the empire through the kingdom or alliance.

@@lucky_crit Felix says "So, the old man's dead..." It sounds as if he's _confirming_ it with Dimitri, like he isn't fully sure. That implies that he wouldn't be in your party when Rodrigue died, so he'd have left for other reasons. It's not fully implying it, but it does seem to hint towards it. As some other people in this comment chain have mentioned it seems like there could have been a rough split when asking if you want to go to the Kingdom or the Empire, but as stated in the video the devs said they didn't have any other rout splits planned...? I'm confused by all this, but it's interesting!
I actually wish Byleth had more voice lines. I love both gender voices, especially male Byleth. His voice is just so soothing! Aguilar did a great job.
Right? You hear him/her speak a lot more in Fire Emblem: Three Hopes and I absolutely love his voice. I was so surprised when I found out it was Zach Aguilar who voiced his male counterpart but also relieved, because I know Zach is an astounding voice actor
The lines sound more like they're based on the death of Felix's father, as that's an event that happened quite recently and while it's been a while I think Felix refers to Rodrigue as old man multiple times.
@@silverman1205 I made Annette a warrior in my current playthrough. So far, after 400+ hours of playing the game, this is the first time she's been useful at all to me. But that's how RNG works.
Technically, Ferdinand's last name is just Aegir. The "von" part, which is German for "of," is a German and Adrestian noble thing. It's just to say that he's not just Ferdinand Aegir, but he's Ferdinand of House Aegir. That's why his father's title is Duke Aegir and not Duke _von_ Aegir. A lot of languages do this: "van" in Dutch, "de" in Spanish, "no" in Japanese, and even "of" in English. EDIT: It's also a Leicester noble thing. I forgot to mention that, probably because when I thought of "Leicester" and "noble," the first thing to come to mind was Lorenz Hellman Gloucester. Leicester seems to be mixed when it comes to noble naming conventions. Some have "von" and others have middle names.
Aye. Ferd is also not the only character with "von" in their name. Edelgard von Hresvelg, Linhardt von Hevring, Bernadetta von Varley, Caspar von Bergliez, Hubert von Vestra, Mercedes von Martritz, Claude von Riegan, Lysithea von Ordelia, and Marianne von Edmund. It's all over the place. The only nation that doesn't seem to use "von" as part of their naming convention is Faerghus, as Mercie was from the Empire.
Felix & Annette leaving BL were probably 2 paralogues that resembles the Dedue paralogue, since from the very beginning of writing the story the devs said that only BE had a route split because of Edelgard's role in the story who betrays the MC & tries to kill them. For Felix it is easy, he probably was gonna get a paralogue immediately after Rodrigue's death that you have to do if you want Felix back in your team or if you don't do it, you lose him forever. Annette's paralogue probably has to do with Gilbert, her mother & uncle specifically. It would have been amazing, but I think they chose against implementing it because players might never do these paralogues, Dedue is replaced by Gilbert so that even if you don't do his paralogue you'll still get a unit resembling him in canon "Gilbert". But if you lose both Felix & Annette by not doing their paralogues then who'll take their places? It'll be unplayable. They probably scrapped the idea because of gameplay reasons.
Heck, they could just make it so that the already-existing Paralogues are the triggers: Felix's Paralogue could have a bit more dialogue, closing the rift between him and his father, while beginning to cope with Glenn's death. Not doing it means Felix will have a falling-out with Dimitri along the lines of "You're going to get us killed, and all of you are blindly following him, just like my foolish brother." Annette's Paralogue is already about the position of House Dominic. It was likely planned that if you don't do it, Cornelia takes Annette's mother has a hostage and is blackmailing Annette to fight on her behalf. 15:12 "There is someone I must protect!" seems to heavily imply that was going to be the case.
@@Videokirby I wouldn't say being buddy-buddy with his father but being to understand him *(or at least starting to)* and coping with Glenn's death would've been nice. A full betrayal like everyone is suggesting would just fo again a lot we've seen in the game already. But going blind randomly losing all your units becomes unplayable save making other units more recruitable AFTER the timeskip *("maybe" before as well but that's another conversation)*
I always suspected Crimson Flower was shorter because the branching path was meant to be a deviation of it. *But then that CG art of Jeritza's S-rank came and I wanted those missing chapters to be added!*
Same. I honestly think all they would need to do is record a couple extra lines for Thales against Edelgard. The map already exists so I don't think it would've been too much trouble. But who knows.
Imagine they do add those "extra" chapters, BUT, the story leading up to those chapters is still the same. So you get a slightly longer route, but (spoilers) you can't use the Sword of the Creator, or Divine Pulse, or the Enlightened One class, probably. And possibly not Edelgard, either, since this is supposed to be a shadow war and she needs to be publicly governing her people. Personally I'd be totally okay with that, but I can imagine a lot of people being annoyed at such restrictions.

The updated version of the unfinished character almost fits Sitri to a T, the age still being 17 is a few years off the 20 that her grave lists her as (though since she was the previous one to have Sothis Crest stone who knows how true that is) . Makes me think that at one point they had planned for Cindered Shadows to go quite differently
I like to think that is accurate however there is one thing that makes me have doubts. Sitri was a fairly weak woman who rarely if ever left the monastery. I just don't find it realistic for her to have been fighting.
@@silverman1205 hey if the magic cup had worked as intended that might not have mattered, especially since it's implied she was only so weak because of Sothis' crest stone being too much for her body to properly handle

@@lordparma7556 Well some people were thinking that it would've gone along with Jeralt's unused lines where he is more confident and calling himself the Blade Breaker. Possible could have been something like a prequel before Sitri got pregnant. I have certain doubts about that too though since it is known that Sitri was fairly weak and rarely if ever left the monastery, so her fighting seems unlikely.
Actually, that makes a lot of sense, with a major crest of flames (I believe, I could be wrong, but didn't Rhea plant the crest in Sitri before Byleth?) And also having two affiliations, the Empire (possibly where she grew up) and the Church.
@@BlobOfAwe You're missing something; Before having changed the crest to be the Crest of Flames and the affiliation with the Church, the person was originally affiliated with the Adrestian Empire and had the minor Crest of Cichol. I believe the person was probably meant to be Monica at first (considering she was the one who was missing a year prior to the beginning of the game.) Also, she and Ferdinand could've both shared the same crest as we can see that Bernadetta and Hanneman both have the Crest of Indech.
@@SimplySage2018 Crimson Flower really is honestly more like a hidden path since it isn't the default. If you don't attend Edelgard's coronation you are locked out of it.
SuperJimmy978 I agree. I think it was wise for Intelligent Systems to use the Villain/Anti-hero as the voice for lots of the promotional material. It was a secret to viewers that she would become what she ended up being, and it was even more of a shock for players (especially those who chose GD or BL as their house)
Even in Europe, Manuela is called Miguela in the Spanish version just like how Mist from Fire Emblem Path Of Radiance, Radiant Dawn and Heroes is renamed as Alja because it's a curse word for "damn" or "crap" so changing their names from the localizations were the right choice and well made.
Manuela isn't a curse word. Yeah, people associate it with jerking off since "mano" is hand and Manuela kinda equals "Handella". However, Manuela is still an actual Spanish name
Something cool to talk about could be the connections of crests to the Major Arcana tarot cards. There are some really interesting comparisons there, for example Sylvain’s Crest of Gautier equating with Death, Felix and Annette crests as the Emperor and the Empress, respectively, Rhea and Edelgard’s Crest of Seiros as the High Priestess, and Ferdinand/Seteth’s Crest of Cichol as Justice.
In regards to the crest discussion around 4:15, Ernest is actually Anna's crest and Timotheos is Hapi's. You mention all five, but it was worded in a way that made it seem like one of the Ashen Wolves had the crest of Ernest.
Revisiting your Three Houses videos as I go through my 4th and final playthrough of the game finally! Was there ever a 3rd Trivia video like this? These were my favorite from you, and so fascinating!
For the curious, yes CF is the secret route The developers added it last minute since some of them wanted the possibility of siding with Edelgard as a choice but it was originally meant to be NG+ exclusive It was very late when they finally decided to add it through normal play and were surprised so many people ended up choosing it since it can be missed (not easily tho which makes me wonder why they thought that in the first place)
SageOfAnys I made that comment a day before I actually saw that conversion. Still, that story does line up oddly well with the while leaving to go to Almyra thing.
I could see Jeralt playing up the Bladebreaker thing if it could be used to protect the students. Basically as intimidation to scare potential aggressors away.
4:22 Anna actually possesses the crest of Ernest also it was believed that Felix and Annette would defect depending if their fathers died in Gronder field so that was an early concept of that.
It's kind of interesting how the Crest of Timotheos isn't scratched on the mural and also appears on the Star Terrace's floor. I also think it's funny that the Crest of Ernest is the only last crest "lost to history." I was really excited to play the DLC with such unique characters, but a part of me wishes that Hapi was from Albinea or Morfis and was like Claude where she had her Crest of Timotheos from her parent from Fódlan.
I would like to chime in and say, about the Silver Snow route and your comment about keeping Fodlan as it is and preventing change. This is a spoiler warning for those wishing to avoid it. No matter what route you take, positive change happens in Fodlan, and I find that to be undeniable. This is obvious for Crimson Flower and Verdant Wind, a few details that support my claim for some other routes are as follows: • Byleth becomes the new Archbishop in both routes, and foreshadowed by how peoples’ attitudes differ between Rhea and them, acts as a much more reliable, capable, and trustworthy leader. • Seteth, if he survives, changes his attitude overall, becoming more tolerant, forgiving, and accepting. • Rhea, if she survives, steps down as the Archbishop, recognizing her failures, and that she (in her mind) could only do her best act as a proxy for the Goddess. • If you lead a number of the Blue Lions, you will see that some of them, too, take issue with the Crest system that alone dominates Fodlan’s governance and work to begin dismantling it. Edit: In summary, I see siding against Edelgard not as resisting change, but a resistance to her way of bringing about that change, and her specific intentions. No matter the route, you discover flaws in Fodlan, and things that need to improve. This is also not to say that Edelgard is some antagonist - I believe the story to be very will written, where every potential protagonist has a range of gray area that the player gets to decide upon for themselves (which is obviously heavily influenced by which route(s) you played).
7:05 Honestly, I call shenanagans on that. I don't mean that they planned the three routes beforehand, but rather that they did not rush routesplits and really only wanted one. Not to mention, behind the scenes-inaccuracies when it comes to fire emblem are already known. Like how they made the statement that all three stories in FE7 developed natually, yet it is very clear that hector and lynmodes developed from eliwood mode in a very weird way as an afterthought.
Thank naga they didn't do that. Otherwise I would have been "You were the chosen ones! You're were ment to destroy the empire, not join them, you're were our friends. We loved you."
@@floricel_112 Not really bad just sad since Felix would end up like Dimitri in all the other routes outside of AM. Dead fighting for vengeance, hits even more when he says the line Father, Im sorry. Kinda inferring that he was fighting for the dead, which is something he adamantly rebels against in his character. Would have been tragic but interesting.
May be this mysterious character is meant to be that woman who is standing near the altar in a DLC where we pray for items. As I remember she was somehow connected to empire (from the dialogues with her) and than join the abyss (it means church at all).
6:04 I feel like the Crimson Flower Route was short because of memory limitations. This is prove by the amount of lag & slow loading times I’ve experienced during my playthroughs.
It is kinda funny actually because if he did not do the dirty things, then Nintendo and IS likely would not have cared about him mentioning his role too early. That is why we should always at least have the decency to be decent.
@@music79075 Dismissing people who speak out as "cancel culture" discourages victims from speaking out. Yeah, some of my favorite creators have been hit by this stuff, it sucks. I just want to enjoy the content that I like! I see it this way. On the one hand, sexual harassment or assault is unacceptable and people should face consequences for their behavior. On the other hand, the men and women who engage in those behaviors do so because of how they learned to view the world based on cultural assumptions. They act not out of malice, but mistaken assumptions or beliefs. Many men have internalized the idea that they are supposed to behave aggressively in romance, and is tacitly reinforced in media and culture. As in "Boys will be Boys." Have you seen a Sean Connery 007 film? Out of the context of bond being the protagonist, it's pretty rapey. When men overstep those boundaries, we tend to take it further because we think that is how we are supposed to be as men. Women either also accept that is the way it is, or are silent out of fear of retribution, along the lines of Harvey Weinstein. Which is why it's becoming more of an issue now. The more people that speak out, the more people realize that is not okay, the less alone victims feel, which then makes people feel safer to speak out. As I see it, Harvey behaved that way because he believes that is how he should act as a man in power, but that does not make it okay. I've had women casually grope my crotch in dance floor scenarios because they assumed that I am sexually available because I am a man. Again, this is reinforced by society, think of the teacher who literally raped her male student. The kid is seen as lucky or cool because he had sex, regardless of the fact that he was raped. Again, this is not okay. When I clarify that I am not okay with casual sexual contact, most of those women accept that and apologize. Sometimes they project that I must be gay. Under the presupposition men are sexually available by default, if they are not receptive, either they are gay or she is unattractive. These women behaved that way as a defense mechanism, not out of malice. Still not okay. Look at the whole Terry Crews issue as well, this is a pattern of behavior that exists beyond women making accusations towards men or vice versa. We can change the way we teach our children, but for people who have already internalized these ideas, some form of consequence is the only way they will learn. In silence, they will continue harming others, regardless of their intent. People don't change their behavior if they face no consequences.
the developers mention that it's more interesting for Edelgard's route to have a split path but don't realize that they also gave her one of the more disappointingly short routes? whether CF was rushed or not, it's still a bummer that it didn't have more depth, especially since the developers recognize the uniqueness of Edelgard's position. however, i'm not too upset at the developers because between your two videos, it definitely looks like they cut _a lot_ of expanded story and character. this is a big ass game, so even with some of the missed potential and cut content, it does still provide what i want and like.
Seriously, I wish taking down TWSITD was part of Crimson Flowers. I feel like they could've easily added at least that to it seeing as a map already exists for such a fight. They only would need to record a couple extra lines for Thales against Edelgard and Hubert. Maybe add in the fight against Nemesis too.
silverman1205 I agree. I love Crimson Flower as is, but I do get the frustrations with its short length. I’ve thought about it, and what if TWSITD actually betrayed the Empire after Arianrhod, and Byleth and Edelgard have to take them down before finishing off the Kingdom and Church, the latter now in a stronger position? Just a thought. I do believe Claude ultimately got the shaft just as badly as Edelgard did, though; his route has a lot more unique cutscenes, but otherwise it really is just a reskin of Silver Snow with the addition of Gronder Field and Nemesis.
The reason Annette is a Kingdom general would probably have something to do with Gilbert. Prior to that battle, Cornelia takes over the territory surrounding house dominic where annette's uncle and mother live. Maybe they planned on something happening between annette and gilbert to drive her to the side where her mother currently lived that was taken over by the empire?
The Deathknight Teatime NEEDS to happen... I mean you drink Tea with a big Ass evil Knight xD And yeah..after I read this.. the scrapped Flamecrest Girl could be in fact Byleths Mom.
“The current situation could be based upon the death of Dimitri’s father” I think you misunderstood Felix’s lines 😅. Is it him referring to a dead “old man” that made you think about it ? Personally, I’m 100% sure he’s talking about HIS old man, Rodrigue. His tone drastically changes just after and he’s even more furious against Dimitri, probably thinking that it’s Dimitri’s fault. Plus, it wouldn’t make sense for the overall plot to have Lambert dying recently, or during the events of the game, as his death more than 10 years ago set in motions very crucial story elements.
*Clarifications:*
- As many of you pointed out, it seems much more likely that Felix is referring to the death of his father, Rodrigue, in the cut Blue Lions dialogue. Originally he seemed a little too... nonchalant? about it and that's probably why my mind didn't go there, but I suppose Felix has always taken issue with Rodrigue, so it's probably not much of a stretch. A lot of folks have pointed out that this entire chunk of data could be a remnant of a potential route split in Blue Lions, perhaps where Dimitri chooses where to lead the army to, and maybe Felix and Annette disagreed with the choice, or simply could no longer stand Dimitri's actions after the death of Rodrigue.
- I referred to Silver Snow as the hidden fourth path, which was perhaps not quite right in retrospect, but to me a path where you'd side with Edelgard wouldn't have been "hidden," it was implied from picking the Black Eagles class initially, before anyone knew what would happen with her story. However, it does take specific choices to get Crimson Flower, so I understand why it's actually considered the "hidden path." My apologies!

Yeah; Crimson Flower is the hidden path, you can easily miss the triggers for Flower, and the default is Snow.
This again shows why Flower clearly has less work put into it. Hell; before the final mission Edelgard even outright says 'perhaps this isn't the path you were meant to take'.

Small theory: They planned a prequel DLC with Jeralt using his "more confident" lines and with the Crest of Flames girl being Sitri.
I think they first wanted to make a lost member of the Aegir house as Ferdinands Description being 'the oldest son' of house Aegir or something like that indicates that there is at least one other child. Then they maybe decided to make a DLC that plays during Jeralts time at Garreg Mach.
That’s actually really convincing.
My initial thought was that "Monica" would have been briefly playable in Black Eagles. Idk, just a thought that came up for me.
The more confident lines could be from a timeskip Jeralt, meaning there could have been a way to save him. The Sitri idea is a great idea though.
That would also explain why they made a special class just for Aelfric.

@Destiny FateKnight I'd love to see that or Dorthea have a support with Claude lol I also wish Dimitri had a support with Hilda because i can see it being funny lol
Yeah it would’ve been interesting to see how Dorothea would interact with a better version of herself.

The Rogue Lord probably why it was scrapped
The Rogue Lord I mean Felix is consistently mad at Dimitri in AM. Annette is the one that makes less sense I’d say.
Definitely would have been cool to see, and more hard choices would have really upped the replay value even more
Sounds like they were lying in the interview to me. There's no way that this _wasn't_ at least conceptualized.
@@ChoiceSnarf Aye. That's why a lot of us more believe it was related to time constraints. Nintendo let them delay, I think, twice? I don't think Nintendo would let them delay much longer than that.
Great petspective!

I can already see how the support for Dorathea and Hilda would play out in my head, I imagine it being something of a comedic support.

It's not fully implying it, but it does seem to hint towards it.

OK yes but the joke doesn't work that way GOD
@@Practitioner_of_Diogenes Oh, shit! I can't believe I forgot that Leicester noble families do that too. I'll fix my comment.

They probably scrapped the idea because of gameplay reasons.
why would you give someone a second paralogue?
Heck, they could just make it so that the already-existing Paralogues are the triggers:
Felix's Paralogue could have a bit more dialogue, closing the rift between him and his father, while beginning to cope with Glenn's death. Not doing it means Felix will have a falling-out with Dimitri along the lines of "You're going to get us killed, and all of you are blindly following him, just like my foolish brother."
Annette's Paralogue is already about the position of House Dominic. It was likely planned that if you don't do it, Cornelia takes Annette's mother has a hostage and is blackmailing Annette to fight on her behalf. 15:12 "There is someone I must protect!" seems to heavily imply that was going to be the case.
@@Videokirby Yep, that was my thought exactly.

So you get a slightly longer route, but (spoilers)
you can't use the Sword of the Creator, or Divine Pulse, or the Enlightened One class, probably. And possibly not Edelgard, either, since this is supposed to be a shadow war and she needs to be publicly governing her people.

Of course the funniest part about that is that the Fire Emblem is connected to The World.

I would like to chime in and say, about the Silver Snow route and your comment about keeping Fodlan as it is and preventing change. This is a spoiler warning for those wishing to avoid it.
No matter what route you take, positive change happens in Fodlan, and I find that to be undeniable. This is obvious for Crimson Flower and Verdant Wind, a few details that support my claim for some other routes are as follows:
• Byleth becomes the new Archbishop in both routes, and foreshadowed by how peoples’ attitudes differ between Rhea and them, acts as a much more reliable, capable, and trustworthy leader.
The algorithm blessed me with this awesome video. Keep up the good work.
I knew some of these, but the video was very well-made and interesting. Thanks!
Yay!! So excited that you made a part 2! :)
May be this mysterious character is meant to be that woman who is standing near the altar in a DLC where we pray for items. As I remember she was somehow connected to empire (from the dialogues with her) and than join the abyss (it means church at all).
I was gonna go to sleep, but that Felix/Annette thing made me too emotional
6:04 I feel like the Crimson Flower Route was short because of memory limitations. This is prove by the amount of lag & slow loading times I’ve experienced during my playthroughs.
mroemy l,mtism mkae nos ecn secne switch is strogner then that it can handle it
No one:
Absolutely nobody:
Ferdinand: I am Ferdinand von Aegir!
Haha it’s funny because he says that in the game
I want to point out the the Church route is not the secret route. Going with edelgard is the secret route but some people might not know.

The return of Did You Know Fire Emblem
your videos literally make me so excited every time you upload🥺🥺tysm for another amazing watch
Thanks so much for always tuning in
Lucky Crit thank you sm!! you’re such an inspiration
11:00 lol, designers be like: _"you WILL respect Sensei's ahoge 8]"_
I want to feel bad for Byleth's ex-voice actor but he's also getting less than he deserves. Gotta treat women and NDAs with respect, man.
It is kinda funny actually because if he did not do the dirty things, then Nintendo and IS likely would not have cared about him mentioning his role too early. That is why we should always at least have the decency to be decent.
Change "women" to "people" and I agree with you. Everyone deserves respect... Until they don't. But not everyone reaches that unfortunate threshold.
Eh i think its terrible what happened to him. This whole cancel cancer needs to go
@@music79075
Dismissing people who speak out as "cancel culture" discourages victims from speaking out.
@@TheSOHO92 you are wrong about a great deal of what you just said especially your conclusion
I will say when I learned I could play as the death knight I was hyped.
I love randomly "I am Ferdinand Von Aegir!" before doing things
I always thought Marianne and Bernadetta should have had supports! It seemed like they were meant for a friendship! I wonder why they took it out...
the developers mention that it's more interesting for Edelgard's route to have a split path but don't realize that they also gave her one of the more disappointingly short routes? whether CF was rushed or not, it's still a bummer that it didn't have more depth, especially since the developers recognize the uniqueness of Edelgard's position.
however, i'm not too upset at the developers because between your two videos, it definitely looks like they cut _a lot_ of expanded story and character. this is a big ass game, so even with some of the missed potential and cut content, it does still provide what i want and like.
Who doesn't want to share a cup of tea with the death knight, also the music really fits
Man the game would have been so much more dope if you could recruit Jeralt. Even if he still dies.
15:45
Felix is probably talking about the death of Rodrigue who died a chapter before this battle takes place, so it would make sense
12:51 _I want this. I want to have tea with the scary monster man._
With the last one, they’re referring to Felix’s father, not Dimitri’s
The Deathknight Teatime NEEDS to happen...
I mean you drink Tea with a big Ass evil Knight xD
And yeah..after I read this.. the scrapped Flamecrest Girl could be in fact Byleths Mom.
15:55 damn the anger in Felix voice
16:20 He about to draw my Ferdinand Von Ire
“The current situation could be based upon the death of Dimitri’s father”
I think you misunderstood Felix’s lines 😅.
Claude is the leader of the Golden Deer...
His story path is Verdant wind...
