_Cloud with the Chance of Meatballs_ was also based on the children's book of the same name by Judi (writer) and Ron (illustrator) Barrett. There's no Flint Lockwood and other characters in the film nor his inventions were present in the book. It's just the old man telling his grandchildren about the story of how meteorology serves food by falling out of the sky.

One of the few RUclips channels left that I consistently watch every single old video and wait in anticipation for every new upload. Half of the reason is because of the games....other half is the sophomoric humor which never fails to crack my ass up.
You should probably get that checked.
One other reason for me is the fact that they don't upload too much. Channels like Oneyplays put out so much content I can never keep up with them, which then ultimately kills my interest. Video or two a week is the perfect amount for me.

Speaking of Sony Animation games, there’s this Smurfs game that’s basically Just Dance… but with Smurfs
For some reason Ubisoft published the game, so Smurfs are canon to the Just Dance universe
Also that game has some insane copy protection.

I never watched the Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs movie, but it was my favorite book as a kid. I was wondering how the source material would translate to a movie. I’m not too surprised that it was only the title that really was the same, though to be fair the original story really couldn’t be stretched past a few pages.

From Emoji Movie to Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse, Sony Animation did improved but it's also imperfect nonetheless.

Flint Lockwood reminds me of Jimmy Neutron. Think about it, their not only both scientists but also had their own moment (mostly Jimmy) where Science itself has let them down or in other words “screwed them over.” Which leads to them thinking/creating a new invention to deal with the old one that went to shit.

it’s so weird because i remember really loving this game when i was younger. I thought this game looked so good too. looking back…..it really wasn’t all that
You know, this movie’s concept could’ve made an insanely creative FPS or beat ‘em up/hack n slash for kids with cool enemy variety (like fighting off mutant foods in cool food based environments), but instead they decided to make a bland platformer and give Flint a thousand yard stare.

Honestly I enjoyed the video game, in-fact I did download it on my PC this month, and I just played the hell out of it plus 100%’ing the game, it’s not the worst, for your average “film licensed game” it’s actually pretty good. Though it wasn’t “Simpsons Hit and Run” quality.
