Kinda felt Jess harnell voice for Rodney never really fit the part in the game i felt they should of got James arnold taylor to voice Rodney instead giving his Obi wan voice sounds close to Ewan Mcgregor
agreed.. there are a handful of movie tie-ins that were actually good though.. mostly the older ones.. a good example would be monsters inc for the ps1.. that game absolutely slaps and is amazing.. then there is toy story wich i believe was on the dreamcast not the ps1 (could be on both tbh) wich is also pretty good.. and then of course not to forget harry potter.. for ps2 there are a few chicken little wasn't all too bad.. however if i'd have to pick one that is actually pretty good it would be Barnyard.. it accurately encapsulates the wack the movie was with silly minigames and well the best feature of the game that caused me to laugh cynically as a kid: being able to spray milk everywhere and on everyone.. also pretty nice how every character has their own reaction to getting drenched.

(i had so many games i don't remember half of them. apart from those i played to death or those with frustrating levels.. for frustrating levels there are two that i remember standing out 1 being Kya dark lineage where the platforming was extremely clunky and hard. and the other being transformers decepticons for the ds.. there was a level where you have to defeat one of the autobots as megatron but you are extremely slow compared to your enemy.. so by the time you turn around to face him he's behind you already.. if you fly away to try and get a better angle he'll just shoot at you from a distance like a right prick)

I think the reason I find this channel so hilarious is because of how genuine and natural the humor and commentary feel, like when Max starts making a joke and Currie starts laughing half way through it, fuckin gets me every time.
All I really remember from this game is that in the final boss, if you run out of health, you don't die but instead get a unique cutscene where the villain goes "tsc tsc tsc, you're nothing but the son of a dishwasher" and then Rodney's weapon just breaks apart with Rodney looking depressed and walking away. I respect the devs for going the extra mile for a failstate cutscene, but that was such an anticlimax of a game over lol.
On the one hand, it was surprising to see them bring in Stanley Tucci to voice Herb here. Herb has more involvement in the game than the movie as he narrates every part of Rodney’s journey despite not being there with him. But on the other, I’m disappointed they couldn’t get Ewan McGregor and Robin Williams to again voice Rodney and Fender, I mean Fender doesn’t speak in this game.
I was more shocked by how, not like the film he sounds...like, I've never heard a video game impersonation more off. I honestly thought it was another character speaking at first, because it just does not sound right.

The Robots movie is a masterpiece! I’d actually argue that the aforementioned and The Peanuts Movie were the only two legitimately good films from Blue Sky, everything else ranged from okay to forgettable with only one film being truly awful, you know the one. Also, Shrek 3 game next plz.

This is actually my favorite animated movie that came out from Blue Sky Studios. A world full of machines, so many different color and robot designs. I would rather had a sequel from this movies then another Ice Age or Rio.
Fun fact: this game had mods going around at some point, and I remember because my usual pirate PS2 games dealer would list the disk mods on the back Which was mostly fixes for bugs, controllers and a pretty neat graphics overhaul that made the ps2 go brrrr if you played too long but was (a bit) closer to the movie by playing around with the color pallete and the gamma.
This is one of my favorite games of all time and nothing will change my mind of that. I personally think the game is very fun and super re playable. Did you know the voice of video game rodney is Wakko from Animaniacs. The gamecube and PC version of the game runs much better than the ps2 version.

Remember having this game on a CD when I was a kid. Tried to run it on our old windows XP desktop at home but apparently that pc didn't meet the requirements and the game bugged out. Textures and sound broke etc.. Had to borrow my grandparents laptop with windows 7 to even run the game
