Shock wave is one of my favorite rollercoasters 🎢 anywhere. So much history...And you were part of it...As was i...I to was in the crowd..however I was only 5 yrs and unable to ride.. (I was scared anyways)lol. Now I go to six flags at least once a year and ride this. 👍
The shockwave is honestly so wholesome. It was my first big ride and the first to take me upside down. To think that even tomorrow this would happen but instead of the first ride, it’s the last.
It is still there, one of my favorites in the park. I miss SFOT a lot, I haven't been there since I moved out of Dallas 4 years ago
I can't believe this existed. I was there with the band and part of the second group that rode it.

Schwarzkopf is just amazing, especially for 1978, this Coaster is just plain thrilling and amazing

The hysteria over an inanimate object like it’s Elvis Presley LOL. In all seriousness, these kind of rides were a big deal at the time.
