  • I did not mention this in the video but if you are changing inner weights you will need to know the weight of the weights currently installed in the governor. so a set of scales will be necessary.

    cant thank you enough. i have a 350 and a 400 in both my classic Oldsmobile's and now have a little confidence to tinker with them. both 50 years old with shifting issues

    Thanks! I have a 78 k 10 that sat long time in S.C. bought on facebook.last year,seller changed filter fluid and new torque converter I'm replacing floors etc now when I took for drive only stays in one gear,not sure which,and reverse works,thm350,please do a video if you have time ,explaining modulator function and defects to diagnose for us newbies,I'm only building for pleasure driving.governor also what defects causeations.

    I have a 95 Chevy c1500 with a swapped th350 trans and I can’t seem to figure out how to bolt the shift cable bracket or where to bolt it. The part is Genuine GM 15995247 and I don’t think it’s the right one cause the previous owner rigged it on but anything will help. Thanks

      The cable bracket or pan bracket is bolted on driver side must remove 2 pan bolts to mount. I think that is what your asking me
