Bugger lol, we have all done it 🤣🤣. New old tent looks good im liking that. You still look like you had a good time though happy days all the best my good friend 👍👍
Yep probably won't be the last time either lol...its a great tent..not perfect 👌 👍 but close for my means , so I will work on making it better me thinks , always have a good time when I'm out buddy cheers jj
Auch well at least you got a good setup test in the field so not a wasted trip. I think the pole is max 140cm. I found putting loops on the holes helped a lot with the Zeltbahn. Would love to see it tested with the Tri Pi or the likes if you have one. Atb.
My thoughts too , first outing with it wasn't wasted ..the pole is almost certainly not the right height...it seems to me like they couldn't be bothered working out how to close/fasten off the tops of both halves when joined together ..so will figure out my own way of doing that better ...yep I have the rough timba tri-pi and use that alit with my lavvus so will give that a try in due course too , jj
I'm not sure tbh, it's not square it's more rectangular, you could feasibly do it but it wouldn't all join in the middle to form a roof as such , so you'd need a tarp or something cover it...plus that would be bloody heavy lol
Ahhh, what a pain in the arse. I went out with my grandson to have a cuppa using a meths burner, I forgot the water, so glad we were fairly close to home, I usually forget something but that was the first time I forgot water lol!
I forget at least one integral component of my kit every single time I go out l sleeping bag , hammock . Tarp , torch , food , water , milk , coffee and even beer once .
Something that always make me wonder.. why do none of you RUclips campers mention where these woods are, who owns them and did you get permission to camp in them?
I have a couple of permissions that I'm fortunate enough to use and have done for along time, my permissions come with the stipulation that the location and proximity isn't mentioned, that may be the case with others too...but I do say when I'm at a permission site that I am at a permission, that's all. I also use plenty of other woods ( council owned etc , hide myself away never light a fire
"Campers" are respectful and protective of their permission land. Notice how you never see litter or fire damage in any of his films ?? Because the areas are used by outdoors people with a "prefessional" regard for their surroundings. Imagine if these locations where visited by people who can't interact respectfully with nature. Why would some one compromise a permission camp that way. I respect their decision and value the learning opportunity their content they choose to share provides me.
Great start to 2024 oh happy day's many More to come my friend 😊
Cheers my friend thankyou atb jj

That looks great. Could you join 4 halves together to make a longer lavvu style set up? I'm thinking that would be great for me and the kids.

I would probably go mad if I actually brought everything and didn't forget something 😅 cool video
