Hey Chloe, just wanted to say that your approach to life is really brave and admirable. Keep doing what you do. I wish you well in your journey, and I believe that even when things don't go as planned, trying your best always makes for a great story. I hope everything comes to fruition for you in due time.
Heeey, glad to have found a fellow Fujifilm lover ! Which model, lens, and film simulation are you shooting on ? I'm myself on a (venerable) X-H1 and love shooting vids on Eterna. I love your shooting style, it's very aesthetic (and some of your portrait shots have a very dreamy look to them, which is why I'm curious about the lenses you used). And knowing you've been doing it on a Fujifilm makes me happy. If acting is not enough for you, I can already tell you have a real knack for filmmaking (your shooting eye is great, you look great on camera, and you've mastered the editing as well, especially motion cut, that skateboard catch was on point). Hope the short shooting went well. I'm not a pro filmmaker myself, but since my background is in animation, I do have several skills needed for filmmaking, so I used to participate in various posts (scriptwriter, supporting actor, editing, vfx) in friends shorts projects during the late yearly Tainan 39h competition and Taipei 48h for 4 years, between 2013 and 2016. It was certainly hard, but I had a blast every time, and learned a lot on these, as well as got lot of unforgettable memories with each crew. I'm sure you'll feel the same. Enjoy ! And yes, moving forward out of our comfort zone is most definitely what expands us as human beings. Not all experiences will be good nor useful, but for the better of the worse, all of them will make us a more complete being. As we age, we just realize we don't run on infinite energy, both physical nor mental/emotional, and we tend to be more selective of the risks we take, but at your age, definitely, go out and try new stuff. It's always a blast to try out something you've never tried before and realize that hey, you can actually make some good shit out of it (for me, who enjoy photography and cooking, it's when I go to fantastic new places and take thousands of fantastic photos of it, or try new dishes and wing it in my first try ! Those are the little moments that makes me feel the most alive !). So I'm very curious to see where your choices will lead you. Looking forward to the next episode, when you're already an accomplished A-list actress and B-girl ^^. You're quickly becoming my favorite new Taiwanese youtuber. Keep it up, and take care.
