    hi, Im also using Hori Hayabusa Real Arcade Pro V, playing Tekken, and I must say I kinda hate its stick. When I do while rising (hold down then release the stick) my character jumps or sometimes side steps upward. Its recoil is so strong that it goes to the different direction after release. How can I fix this?

    • @Nyquiiist
      @Nyquiiist 7 лет назад +1

      get a bigger spring, 2 lb one maybe ? But ive heard some ppl say even thats not enough. But its prolly worth a shot considering how cheap these parts are.

    • @mong233
      @mong233 7 лет назад

    I replaced the square plate with an sanwa octagonal gate. At first it was okay but now I can feel the huge opening. I might just switch back or tryout the kowal restrictor plate.

    How come nobody who advertises this stick says that it wiggles back to neutral? I have tried to brand new joysticks of this, and they both wiggle back to neutral. Meaning if you're playing something like 3rd strike, say goodbye to red parties. Also try something harder like Ibuki's SJC ultra... You can do hc's and what not, but if you let the stick go, it might another direction.

    • @deniskreynin
      @deniskreynin 9 лет назад +11

      You do realize that Sako uses this stick and does SJC Ultra all the time, right? What do you mean by wiggles back to neutral? You mean wiggles back after you let go? Because you're not supposed to let go of the stick during an input. That makes no sense. Almost all sticks go back to neutral after letting go. That's how neutral is SUPPOSED to be accessed.

    • @helgenx
      @helgenx 9 лет назад +2

      Do I have to explain wiggling? Frankly, I don't care if Sako uses this.
      If you let it go, it WIGGLES, like it shakes and hits other directions sometimes. Yes the other sticks do it, but this one just goes haywire. Any of my other sticks do NOT do this and if they do, they just wiggle within the boundaries of the middle and not hit another direction.
      And YES, you do need to go back to neutral if you want to do red parries. Red parry = after a block animation, immediately let stick go back to neutral then tap forward, which means you CANNOT hold a direction to do this for an instant.
      Plus, if I want to just just stay still after something like for example, someone traded with me and did a straight up super like shinryuken, I might want to stand perfectly still instead of causing a block animation because some characters hit boxes actually force you to get block animation that would stick out more than a stand which will cause no animation. Hence the important of not wiggling. If I have to do a video of it, I can. I have two of these joysticks and they are just collecting dust. Thankfully I got them for free.

    I have an Eightarc fusion arcade stick. I've modded it with an Etokki Crown 303-FK KOREAN JOYSTICK; but that was just days right before Hori announced the Hayabusa and Kuro for separate purchase. I'm considering converting to a Hayabusa; but I want to know if it will fit.

    Does the Hayabusa have a stiffer spring making the lever maneuvering more difficult or does it maneuver with more ease than a standard Sanwa? Or is it practically the same feel of movement just one is slightly more responsive than the other?

    I'm a noob in modding. I have a Hori Real arcade pro V3:SA. I want to swap out the stick to a Hayabusa. My sanwa stick appears to have a deadzone after months of playing. I cant seem to find any vids showing how to swap out the stick only

    • @bucchasbutchery4170
      @bucchasbutchery4170 7 лет назад +1

      Well, you'd have to open the case up by removing the screws from the back. Then put a flathead screwdriver to the bottom of the stick to twist the balltop off, and then you can remove the screws from the stick itself connecting it to the base. Just take care to know what orientation the plug is for when you install the new stick.
      Once that's all done, you can install the new stick with the same screws, dust/shaft covers, and then seat the plug in. It should work fine, but you would have to test the stick before screwing the back back on.
      There are a bunch of videos on swapping the sticks out, so you should be able to find some to your needs.

    • @gold3263301
      @gold3263301 10 лет назад

      Not with this housing no, but I'm guessing there'll be an official or unofficial product (depending on who chucks it out first) that will fit the Hayabusa's base and replace the square gate.
      I've never really liked or hated square gates. Hitting straight angles are awkward, but tolerable.

    • @tricksalot2

      Why octagonal gate octagonal gates are not good for neutral game.

    • @gold3263301
      @gold3263301 10 лет назад

      Pete HrapStick Octagonal gates are the preferred choice for executing special moves. However I have since switched back to square gate in preparation for using the Hori Hayabusa and I must say that I have dropped a few half circle commands here and there but otherwise either gate is fine for your needs. As long as you know where your hands are you'll be fine, if not then octo is better

    • @ThePhoenixWylde

    Hello, if you could please answer a question..I just bought a Real Arcade Pro 4 Kai and it has the Hayabusa Joystick. Is it normal, that the Stick is rotatable? If i Pull up (like out)the Stick and see beyond the black cover thing around it and rotate, I see that the Ball and the Stickbody rotate together. So the Ball is not loose. Thought its kind of weird to have that Ball rotate in my hand while i move it. But its my first Fightstick, maybe thats normal. Thanks in advance for the answer.
