That's the same dye I use for my own hair! It would be great to make a "mini me" doll, but I change the colour combinations I dye every two weeks. That'd be a lot of wigs I'd have to make....
Because alpaca is a protein fiber, you can add a little vinegar or citric acid and soak in hot water. The dye should completely soak into the fiber, leaving the water clear. Look up how to use food dye to color wool for more details. 🙂
Can confirm!! Used to make wool dread extensions. I used regular green food coloring for my first set. Turned out amazing. Vinegar and salt work amazing for setting colour in natural fibres.
Hi Maria, i loved the idea of making wefts out of alpaca fibers. I ordered some from a farm and sadly what i got was clumps of fibers and after a lot of work and being extremely careful and gentle i only got 2-3 inches long after flattening them with my hot iron.. May i ask, do you buy ball of wools that you brush? Do you have a link maybe if they sell online so i can have a look? I would appreciate that so much, please 💞
Really liked this video, you explained it in such a clear and well-thought out manner and it was visually beautiful to watch to. I always enjoy your videos! Thank you so much. :)
I admire your artworks!!! ✨It’s so fantastic and graceful!! And I love all these shiny things and glitter as much as you do! ♥️♥️♥️ But, I can’t apply sparkles without compromising their shine... and that’s what makes me sad. I just started to make ooak dolls and I would be very grateful if you give me some tips about how to put them. Is there should be some base, maybe adhesive base? but it should not shine on the matte surface of the doll’s head. And do you use Mr.super clear atop? When I did this my sparkles went faded ;( and almost all were peeled off...
Thank you! 😊♥ I've noticed it can withstand 200°C but definitely not multiple swipes, the ends burn a little and I can see them curl up (this is without heat spray). I'm aiming for lower temperatures like 80 to 100°C but also with a heat protection spray.
To be honest any pva, I never stuck to one. 😄 Recently I've been using Alleene's, before that Elmer's and other brands that I don't even recall anymore, just any as long as it is good. 😊
I tried to make wefts, but they fell apart after I started to cut them with a scissors. I wonder, what I did wrong? Dull scissors, too little PVA, too thick hairs?
The brightly coloured wefts at the end are all so gorgeous!
Thank you! 🥰❤
Am I making customized dolls anytime soon? Not at all.
Am I going to pay full attention to this as if I am? Yes, absolutely.
Wow, your work is seriously inspiring! I don't do doll customizations, but I do art. It's nice to get a breath of fresh air with your amazing work!
That is so sweet, thank you, I really appreciate it. 🥰💗
That's the same dye I use for my own hair! It would be great to make a "mini me" doll, but I change the colour combinations I dye every two weeks. That'd be a lot of wigs I'd have to make....
But it would be so great to switch them around. 😀

Where can you get alpaca fiber? Or do you brush it out like i do with yarn? Can i get this so finished somewhere? It would take so much less time..

Wonderful video as always! I do have a question, what temperature do you recommend for a straightener on Suri alpaca hair?
Thank you! 😊♥ I've noticed it can withstand 200°C but definitely not multiple swipes, the ends burn a little and I can see them curl up (this is without heat spray). I'm aiming for lower temperatures like 80 to 100°C but also with a heat protection spray.

Very nice video, dear Maria!:)
What dye it this that you used in your video?
Thank you! I appreciate that. 😘💗 I just used some of my synthetic dyes and hair ones for the video.
MariaLazar what is the brand though i wanna start making wigs myself and I would love to know!!
What brand were the colours you were using in the video?
Hi, What kind of glue are you using? If this is PVA, it dissolves with water, then the wig cannot be wetted?
Your videos are my ASMR u_u
Hi María ! I would like to know where I can get alpaca hair ?
what type of glue is that and where can i buy it? ❤
What glue do you use for wigs (brand)?:)
To be honest any pva, I never stuck to one. 😄 Recently I've been using Alleene's, before that Elmer's and other brands that I don't even recall anymore, just any as long as it is good. 😊

What dyes do you use
I like this video

Hi what dye do you use
I tried to make wefts, but they fell apart after I started to cut them with a scissors. I wonder, what I did wrong? Dull scissors, too little PVA, too thick hairs?
Where do you get the alpaca from
круто )
What is the name of the dye they use for the hair of your wrists?
Thanks
Your accent is so lovely. Where are you from?
You : 💞🎀🌸✨
💜🖤
Girl u didnt mention what you were using to dye the hair...
What's the name of the hair that you do?
How do you wash them without the hair getting all tangled and lost?
I hold the locks tightly and wash one by one. It takes time but helps to not have them tangled. 😊✌
Love
💗
The dyed hair color is so pretty.
I should dye the rabbit fur, too.
I'm the rabbit. 🤪Will I be pretty?
Hop~ 😉
Have a nice day~
What glue is it?
I'm using white glues to create the wefts. In the video it is elmers, it doesn't really matter the brand, just to be white/ PVA glue. 😊
How many oz did it take to make one wig?? Btw love your wigs I’m asking because i would like to start my self!
