    Fellow RC enthusiasts pondering an ebike enduro build, keep up the good work! We were thinking of using some RC lipos in the same frame as yours.

      Thank you yes I was thinking about doing that very same thing with five 4S lipo packs but the cost was around $700 with no BMS and a lot less range. So in the end of lithium ion batteries just made sense.

      Lol yeah we did a couple times but the Enduro is so much faster, we're going to go on some more rides so we will see. I think if you put a decent battery in the onyx, one that put out some amps say 150 continuous 200 burst I think it would fly.

      @@samjohnson517 That makes sense. Good to know that you can still building something better and cheaper from scratch. Have you tested the range on your ebike?

      @@jorge16178 no but I need to, the problem is it' is always wide open! LOL I'm going to do it though, maybe put it in mode two or three and leave it there.

    Yes bro I would definitely change the handlebars May be a shorter stem and suspension forks 👍🏾

    Seema like every video I watch with an RCR in it, it is making banging and clanking sounds. Think it must be that wooden battery cover that maybe amplifies the battery knocking around. Is it that loud in person too?

    Five turn motor is the one I have it's sick nothing but a wheelie machine lol my speed tops out about 54 mph within 12p 18s LG battery pack I made but I'm undefeated 0 to 40 for the last 2 years including all cars lol I know there's a couple motorcycles that can run with me fortunately I haven't had a race them yet I know with flux weakening my bike will do over 60 but I don't trust my front fork for really over 45 50 and I just broke the same fork you have so be careful right now I'm waiting for volcano downhill forks I bought from Luna cycle for 469 they will be in this week I'll let you know how they ride.

      @SRN AR8 80 amps of flux we can in takes care of that , really you need a 24s battery to be fast

      @@shawnsebikesandstuff15 Basically getting to a point where the battery would be larger than the enclosure then.

    Hey I need your help I always had a 8400watt fat tire ebike but I really like your tires Lol but I just can't make up my mind which one should I buy this time because I've never been on a 19inch 2.75 before I know fat tire are much wider than the motorcycle wheels so can you help me 😁

      Sure man what ever I can do, these are Shinko 241's they stick real good on the street very soft compound and they do not make much noise except for a cool "chirp" sound when I break them loose , I had them off road only one time so far but traction was very good, they are 4ply so good bye to flats! well from thorns anyway, overall I am very happy with them.

    How can I get into building one with no prior mechanical experience.

    • @samjohnson517
      @samjohnson517  3 года назад +1

      I think this would be a great way for you to gain mechanical experience, you can start by purchasing the parts. I would start with the frame and suspension I have a build video: ruclips.net/video/-3nH49Q8rKU/видео.html
      It has links for the parts I used. But there are many other styles and brands out there.
