THe dealership needs better security Cameras are worthless unless they are checked Even my home cams alert immediately me when it detects people or animals. Yeah, I believe there is a chance it was an inside job or at least former employee who was familiar with the layout, security, etc They looked pretty comfortable & nonchalant during the crime as if they knew they didn’t need to worry due to it being a weekend night & discovery wouldn’t happen until Monday morning at the earliest
As a tow truck driver I drop off cars at dealerships at night all the time. There's an overnight key drop off box so it's possible the thieves could have just broke into the box and had all the keys but I'm more than one occasion I've driven by these patrol cars sitting in the lots with the guards dead asleep.
They didn't steal the vehicles to take just one part, they needed a bunch of parts to fill an order, they buy totals and use the parts for those so they have legit vehicles to sell. They use all the others for drive by or robberies.
