Kinda reminds me of the stories Josh Homme told about his old band, Kyuss, when they would plug into a mondo generator out in the Palm Springs desert and have a bunch of pot smokers, acid trippers, and skaters come out and watch them perform.

@@gingethefloof8996 Makes sense to me, people who don't play the bass (or drums I guess) have a tendency to overemphasise the vocals and guitar at the expense of low end. But if you want any level of heaviness to your sound you simply have to spend time getting your bass frequencies to lay down the foundation on which the rest of the instruments can now shine.

Y2K was the death of decent mainstream rock music in my opinion. It's the era of Nickelback, Creed, Hoobastank and Disturbed. I really hated all those bands but I can see them touring with Godsmack and Hoobastank so I get what you're saying.
I'm more of a fan of indie music from the 90s and early 2000s Sonic Youth, Radiohead and Wilco are the only bands with commercial success that I ever really got into. The only Heavy bands I like are Strife, Snapcase, Sick of it All, Hatebreed and Bad Brains. So I'm not qualified to judge if a band like Dorje is good. I was just curious what the stars of Anderton's RUclips videos sounded like.

Even if you're not a musician yourself you can say if you like something or not. Just like you don't have to be a cook yourself to say what's wrong with (or good about) your food. What's up with all the hate comments on this song from the past 2 weeks? Even if all of a sudden you don't like rob anymore, this is still some very good music.
It's a mediocre song with dreadful lyrics sung incredibly badly. That the other three are also Toska, a genuinely amazing band, is a damning indictment of how much Chappers has been holding them back.
@@richardharrold9736 the like/dislike ratio before all that hate started looked like the majority liked that song by a lot. But i get that in the end it's all a question of taste.

I kinda like the rhythm of the song, but not a huge fan of the vocals. There's some djenty and alter bridge style riffs in there and it feels fresh, keep on going!
