Alpha 2 was great, Asmonds army ended up join the server I was on, what they built was amazing. Hundreds of people working together. I hope they have trading mechanics similar to eco. This game is definitely team oriented, and if your solo your living the life of a farmer, hunter and gatherer. I was actually able to trade my house for gear, just build a house and trade it for goods. The mats alone are worth it for most people.

I'd never heard of this game and this was an awesome introduction. I'd like to see a game that wasn't driven by PVP but on cooperation... Players coming together to build Villages, Barns, Towns, Town Halls, Cathedrals etc - essentially a populace and its surrounds evolving.
Spot on? I did not play myself but I've seen the videos and heard the complaints. In the same time it takes to craft stuff in the game you can actually make it for real. Why not spend that time and energy to learn a real and useful skill? Tailoring? You can start with a needle and some thread. Storage boxes? Cut some boards to length, sand them a bit and nail together. Faster than in the game.
I too played the alpha-2 and enjoyed it very much. But beware, the crafting progression and skill progression is brutal! This game is not for everyone. Will I buy it when it comes out - Absolutely Yes.
