That happened to me a couple weeks ago, cause Kapcan had a punch hole and I shot the punch hole with the Sniper Rifle, and I got a hit marker, and the worse part is that it only did 20 damage, also also he killed me and I watched the kill cam and it made the sound of the what the hit markers make and you can clearly see the huge hole the Kali shot put in the wall but he didn't die, I haven't played the game since
I keep trying to come back and enjoy Siege again but each and every time I do the couple matches I sit through are such a terrible experience I have no interest in wasting more time trying to get one decent match.
The sound glitch on console is ridiculous while drowning you cant hear any foot steps. This glitch has been in the game for like 2 seasons. You have to close your game to fix the glitch.
I was solo queuing last night in ranked and I'm plat 3-2. Got a level 52 fresh out of casual on my team. Literally one of his first ranked games ever and he got threw into a mid plat skill game. He quit on round 3. Sieges ranked system? Flawless.

As someone with almost 2k hours in this game it will always have a special place in my heart for the good times I had w friends. That being said I think the only way I’d ever come back is if they had another operation health. I still would have large issues w the game such as the fact that with the increase of operators the game becomes more destroying gadgets then fun gunfights and outplays. I would love to come back but I don’t think I can with the state the game is in right now.
Definitely agree with you on the destroying gadgets part. The bulletproof ones are what really get me. Ash and Zofia are pretty much required because of how many there are and it gets annoying to have to take them every single time. On top of that you need thatcher/Kali and some sort of hard breach as well so your variety is super super limited if you want to be competitive.

I stopped playing back around November-December, I’ve been saying for years that this game is going to be hurt by the 100 operator goal. It was too much content to release reliably while also balancing the already released operators, maps and bugs. Now it seems too late. The game is a mess now and doesn’t feel anything like it used to be.
I left for valorant over 6 weeks ago. 2 days ago, I hope straight into my first game of r6 in ranked (I am diamond). First game I encountered 3 hackers, one on my team. I learn that nothing has changed in almost 2 months of opportunities.

Do you think they should make it so that there is a daily or weekly amount of reports for toxicity or hacking that if you reach you get banned. Ex. You get 10 reports for hacking in a day you get banned. People seem to think the report system is useless and nobody listens so I think this would be a good way to get rid of cheaters or toxic players.
My friend recommended this idea: What do you think about siege having tournaments for the community, with the winners getting renown, r6 credits or alpha packs? It feels like there’s little incentive to win sometimes and the game seems really repetitive.
What should Ubi do to change the way that Jackal works. He is extremely annoying to go up against and I feel like when I have played him his guns have no recoil and very good damage, any thoughts?

what do you think about a warden rework where his gadget is similar to rook in that he puts it down and his team can pick it up and equip it. The glasses are always effect but can only be used to counter 2-3 flash/smoke grenades this way his gadget is actually useful to the team and can potentially compete with jaeger or wamai
Better idea: every, lets say, 25,000 XP you get an alpha pack, that way no matter your rank you'll be earning them at the same rate as those who are higher or lower than you.
Have you ever thought of an operator who can reinforce a wall with a kind of armored glass like those on the Stadium map? I imagined it with the normal reinforcements and 2 more glass ones that would be the same size as a normal reinforcement, of course they can only be used on reinforcing walls.

Mouse and keyboard on the console just keeps me from coming back. Every match, there’s always that one guy. A guy with a controller is close to no match to mnk. (Yes, I know you could still win gun fights but you’re at a severe disadvantage.)
I think for operator mastery: there should be a star on the scope for your operator lets say for every 10h you get a star, after 100 hours you get a diamond star or something..

For the kali buff if you hit them in the arm or leg their accuracy or movement speed is reduced eg you hit them in the arm and they jerk their arm off the gun so their recoil control is heavily reduced for a second and the same would apply for legs and movement speed.
yes, the game engine has nothing to do with the game, but it was built on an old engine that was completed in 2007 which built old Assassins creed and Far cry 2. So part of it could be from the old, buggy engine as well.

Rainbow 6's worst aspect is the community itself. People complain about this game simply because they've played too much, and invest so much time into that they are bored but they don't want to admit it. I think if people started to take a break for awhile they'd see that, but people are too stubborn. I had to stop playing video games entirely and remove them from my computer for about a month, just so I could enjoy them again. I recommend others do the same as well!
Who else remembers the shadowman glitch during black ice? A black Tpose of your operator would always be standing where your character model should be. Even if you were prone or crouched, this shadow would be tposing. It was hilarous but frustrating.
To help with people picking the same thing constantly, I think they should have a character recommendation system. Firstly, This is the part I’m questioning. The team votes on an approach. Aggressive, tactical, etc. The game will recommend characters based on the formation. Secondly, The game will recommend players characters based off the team formation. For example, if you’re lacking bleachers, The game will recommend some you haven’t played in a little while. Lastly, Following recommendations will have rewards. Filling a role could maybe increase your chance of earning an alpha pack or fufill some sort of challenge. This would encourage variety and help with team composition

TBH from next season on there will be one operator only, Ubisoft did say they will fix core gameplay and with the articles on what fundamentals of the game they need to fix, I think Ubisoft is aware of that and it is like an “operation health”

The rank system really needs to be addressed. Smurfing and incorrect ranking is completely killing ranked right now. I went from low silver to low plat and the skill level of a lot of players doesn't really change

I can only speak for myself, but I've significantly cut back on how much I play due to how shitty the match maker has been. I don't ever recall a time where my team would lose 8-12 matches in a row before we manage 1 very tightly contested win just to face another 5-6 0-3 blow out losses after that. Never said we were the best, we're in our 30's we like to have a few drinks and play, but I've never hit just a terrible rut of losses in a game ever.

I think the operator mastery skins would encourage players to play operators they haven’t played yet so that when they get to ranked they have a bigger skill set
For each level up should be an alpha block and if they add it they should give you alpha pack based on what level you are to make up for it.For Example if your level 150 you should get 150 Alpha packs.
Me and a lot of people I used to play siege with stopped playing this game because of the changes they made. The main switch that turned us off was when they changed how rounds work. We hate that you have to play either 3 rounds of attack in a row or 3 rounds of defense. It really just made the game less fun and I preordered siege and have played for a very long time but after this change it ruined the game for us.
In order to avoid the same, constant comfort bans, do you think having a feature that prevents you from banning operator twice in a row would help? Like if you voted to ban Thatcher in your previous game, you yourself cannot pick to ban him in the next game.
For a level skin I think it should be a universal skin that is somewhat similar to the velveteen (which I think is an awesome skin) I love the idea of the top of the gun being some solid metallic color where as usually the bottom is some darker non metallic one.
What about a menu where in custom games you are able to choose a load out from any weapons in the game then just become a recruit - you could do so many sick mini games like 5 v 5 bosg acog
What are your thoughts on the 3 round switch in ranked and unranked matches. I find if I get defence first we usually win because most maps are defender sided. Do you have any alternative round setup ideas, like in casual where there's a 2 round switch? Or even reverting back to alternating every round?

I always get people that are like bronze 1 on my team while I go against a #57 champion with a mnk.
No there is absolutely nothing wrong with that these level 50s are getting placed at gold level based on how they played in unranked and they are most of the times smurfs that are good level has nothing to do with skill.
Yea my smurf for playing with my lower ranked friends got plat 3 after we won most of my placement matches and this was before the level cap at 50
what do you think about a warden rework where his gadget is similar to rook in that he puts it down and his team can pick it up and equip it. The glasses are always effect but can only be used to counter 2-3 flash/smoke grenades this way his gadget is actually useful to the team and can potentially compete with jaeger or wamai

Have you ever thought of an operator who can reinforce a wall with a kind of armored glass like those on the Stadium map?
I imagined it with the normal reinforcements and 2 more glass ones that would be the same size as a normal reinforcement, of course they can only be used on reinforcing walls.

They need to make a game mode. Which is literally operation black ice. Old operators only old maps only old gadgets and attachments(pre nerf) only. I think that would be really fun and nostalgic.
Mouse and keyboard on the console just keeps me from coming back. Every match, there’s always that one guy. A guy with a controller is close to no match to mnk. (Yes, I know you could still win gun fights but you’re at a severe disadvantage.)

Me Hit reg has always been a problem, but most of it has to do with ur internet
For the kali buff if you hit them in the arm or leg their accuracy or movement speed is reduced eg you hit them in the arm and they jerk their arm off the gun so their recoil control is heavily reduced for a second and the same would apply for legs and movement speed.
They just have to rebuild the game with a new engine.

yes, the game engine has nothing to do with the game, but it was built on an old engine that was completed in 2007 which built old Assassins creed and Far cry 2. So part of it could be from the old, buggy engine as well.

I love this game but ive grown in the last 5 years so life just takes me away from it specially on pc. with a $2k pc takes me 15 minutes to get to the main menu and sometimes i looose interest in that proccess

Do you think the ADS times should be changed back to as they were? As the ADS times are really inconsistent and too long for some guns.
Rainbow 6's worst aspect is the community itself. People complain about this game simply because they've played too much, and invest so much time into that they are bored but they don't want to admit it. I think if people started to take a break for awhile they'd see that, but people are too stubborn. I had to stop playing video games entirely and remove them from my computer for about a month, just so I could enjoy them again. I recommend others do the same as well!

Who else remembers the shadowman glitch during black ice? A black Tpose of your operator would always be standing where your character model should be. Even if you were prone or crouched, this shadow would be tposing. It was hilarous but frustrating.
To help with people picking the same thing constantly, I think they should have a character recommendation system.
Firstly, This is the part I’m questioning. The team votes on an approach. Aggressive, tactical, etc. The game will recommend characters based on the formation.
Secondly, The game will recommend players characters based off the team formation. For example, if you’re lacking bleachers, The game will recommend some you haven’t played in a little while.
Lastly, Following recommendations will have rewards. Filling a role could maybe increase your chance of earning an alpha pack or fufill some sort of challenge.
This would encourage variety and help with team composition

TBH from next season on there will be one operator only, Ubisoft did say they will fix core gameplay and with the articles on what fundamentals of the game they need to fix, I think Ubisoft is aware of that and it is like an “operation health”
@Matimi0 Do you consider spawnkilling to be an issue? I play around the silver-gold level and I don't know about everyone else's experience but I feel like I am getting spawn killed every single game. It just feels unfair and unrealistic to be taken out before I can even fight back

The rank system really needs to be addressed. Smurfing and incorrect ranking is completely killing ranked right now. I went from low silver to low plat and the skill level of a lot of players doesn't really change

I can only speak for myself, but I've significantly cut back on how much I play due to how shitty the match maker has been. I don't ever recall a time where my team would lose 8-12 matches in a row before we manage 1 very tightly contested win just to face another 5-6 0-3 blow out losses after that. Never said we were the best, we're in our 30's we like to have a few drinks and play, but I've never hit just a terrible rut of losses in a game ever.
With the mastery challenges they could have it so that it only counts when in casual so that people don’t main certain ops in ranked
hey matimi0, i think a good way to balance melusi’s banshee is that when an attacker activates the banshee it should open up in the very middle. Like how maestro’s evil eye opens up.
I think the operator mastery skins would encourage players to play operators they haven’t played yet so that when they get to ranked they have a bigger skill set
For each level up should be an alpha block and if they add it they should give you alpha pack based on what level you are to make up for it.For Example if your level 150 you should get 150 Alpha packs.
Me and a lot of people I used to play siege with stopped playing this game because of the changes they made. The main switch that turned us off was when they changed how rounds work. We hate that you have to play either 3 rounds of attack in a row or 3 rounds of defense. It really just made the game less fun and I preordered siege and have played for a very long time but after this change it ruined the game for us.
I really don't think many people have a problem with that. I do however hate the coin toss of who gets to defend in OT though.
Imo, if you hit somebody in the arms with Kali, the weapons should have more recoil for 5-10 seconds unless stemmed by doc or you have took armour
In order to avoid the same, constant comfort bans, do you think having a feature that prevents you from banning operator twice in a row would help? Like if you voted to ban Thatcher in your previous game, you yourself cannot pick to ban him in the next game.
What if instead of having to equip laser sights you could just turn it on or off by a button so you could turn it on and off as you need it

For a level skin I think it should be a universal skin that is somewhat similar to the velveteen (which I think is an awesome skin) I love the idea of the top of the gun being some solid metallic color where as usually the bottom is some darker non metallic one.
What about a menu where in custom games you are able to choose a load out from any weapons in the game then just become a recruit - you could do so many sick mini games like 5 v 5 bosg acog
I've played siege almost since launch, have fallen out of love with the game. Don't intend on coming back any time soon

What are your thoughts on the 3 round switch in ranked and unranked matches. I find if I get defence first we usually win because most maps are defender sided. Do you have any alternative round setup ideas, like in casual where there's a 2 round switch? Or even reverting back to alternating every round?
what if the pick and ban operators were randomised each game so operators aren't always sidelined?
