Is that pad capable of leaving swirl marks on the paint ?
You just have to make sure the car and pad are clean and it shouldn't
so many swirls you just created without even realizing.
IF the car was clayed, paint corrected then you will not marr/swirl the paint

Wax won’t work well in the sun especially in hot weather. Do it in cool weather
