Just waxed mine today...while I was waxing it I was like eeehhh I'm sure itll come out IGGGHHHHTTT....buffed it off n it looks BRAND NEW! I'm thinking of maybe doing another layer tomorrow just so everything is 100% covered
Very satisfying video. The wax seems to fill more when it's worked in like this. If you use this method with a cleaner wax or all in one, such as super resin polish, it will maximise the filling potential and give results that are SO much better than just laying the product down, letting it haze, and buffing it off.
The reason wax is applied up and down is because of water when you wash it. It will flow preperly to the ground! As long as i understand. Like when it rains the water will flow good or whatever .. 🤔
Thank you, I was so worried that I'd screw my paint up with wax somehow due to "abrassives" but I just bought a regular liquid wax. Can't wait to put a coat on.
i recently painted my car using ebay cheap single stage black paint then wet sanded/polished it and looked pretty good but after a month the shine isnt as good.i tried turtle wax wax and still fades after time and to make matters worse i been getting these water marks that are white that seems to etch into the paint?,i live in phoenix where the sun is a huge factor too.do i need to use a better wax? if so whats recomended?
Yes, use a clay bar to remove contaminants that can’t be taken off by wash, especially because the surface feels rough. Wax is always last, u don’t want to wax with contaminants or u will scratch the car

Stuff works better than cg jet seal combined with ultimate wax from meguiars . Water beading is amazing and also feels alot smoother.

So.why a micro fiber towel. I just use a terry cloth towel and it works fine.
Can this be used to seal headlights after wet sanding and polishing ?
How long would you wait until you do a 2nd coat?
I would wait for 24 hours and then apply a second coat :)

Not really. Clay bar is used when you are about to do some serious polishing, paint corrections, or your car is super dirty.

It will. But you have to wash your car first. You even can claybar , compound and polish it before. Just how you want it.
