Great review. You pointed out a lot of things other reviewers missed, including the fact that the keyboard can be used without the case. That means that someone who likes the keyboard, but finds the case to be too heavy and bulky, can just get a lightweight, non-keyboard folio case for normal use, and throw the keyboard in their bag, ready to take out and quickly attach when they need a keyboard.
I am with you! Hopefully Logitech will develop one for the iPad Pro. The one they currently have does not have the trackpad. I initially ordered the Magic Keyboard but promptly cancelled it as I can see that there will be better alternatives and are even more affordable.

Damn looks like Logitech absolutely nailed it with this keyboard case! I'm sure some people will complain about the thickness, but I got the latest 10.2 inch iPad for my daughter who is going into high school in September and this will be PERFECT for being pulled in and out of her backpack and thrown around etc. The function keys are awesome too and make basic actions a single button press rather than having to deal with menus and swiping through iOS itself to change simple things. Another fantastic, informative video from the boys at Max Tech that really help me get the most out of my $!
If they offer better key travel and trackpad, I wouldn't mind spending more on a Logitech case compared to the rigid and half-done Apple magic keyboard
Aashish Devgun they both have their benefits. The magic keyboard has the “woah” factor, is slim and beautiful, has a better trackpad (not by much tho), that extra usb-c port and you can use it on your lap. This has the extra durability, more viewing angles, function keys and is still pretty good looking. Oh and obviously the price... its more than half the price! Obviously these comparisons dont mean much because they are for totally different customers and different ipads
@@CURTlS The magic keyboard is definitely not something to be considered as beautiful. The texture and build quality look pretty cheap for its price, except for the keys.
Thank you. I have the Logitech Smart connector keyboard case for my ipadair3 which I love. So it’s the one without the track pad. I don’t want to buy another with a track pad but your review showed me I still have things to learn on my existing one! Blessings. Incidentally, I was intending to buy the Apple smart connector keyboard at that time because pretty much all the reviewers said it was the best. Then I went on the Apple store website and checked the customer reviews (which they’ve now blocked). 90% of them said the keyboard failed after about a year and this was the most expensive keyboard on the market. I’m so glad I got the Logitech, still working after a year!
I have watched a dozen videos but I got more out of your than all the rest, thank you! If I had a wish I would like to see Logitech offer a cover along with the keyboard to swap on and off when needed when the keyboard isn’t needed!
Not bad, this case adds the latest touchpad functionality to the non pro iPads, while offering drop protection and a surface pro like kickstand. I kind of wish they made one for the Pixel Slate back at launch, it would have been nice to have the pen loop and the easy keyboard removal while still being protected!
