I hope they patch the voices to make them sound less robotic, but nonetheless it's nothing short of miraculous that we're about to have a simulator where you can start at an airport in your childhood town (even a farm one), and your career missions will start out as giving tours over landmarks you remember irl...even down to individual trees in many cases. Wow.

How deep does the G1000 go? It’s pretty close to the real plane but 2020 was missing some pages like IFR charts, GPS signals and annunciations, Also failures. X plane 12 you can fail everything, MSFS can only do engine stuff and no avionics

I have an i7-4770 and gtx 1070, how do you think I'd handle the game? I play dcs and am quite used to lower frame rates but the graphics in this game are getting me worried but I really want to order it soon.

So…let’s say you’re commercial single\multi, instrument, CFI. Can’t you just tell MSFS that and skip most of that? BTW folks, Lake Tahoe would be tough to fly out of for training. See the anemic climb? C-172’s even the new ones struggle at that high above MSL and density altitude in the summer.

I can see why and who MSFS are targeting and it’s so cool. Fsx is what got me into commercial aviation and I believe this will do for many others after. I’ll just stick to x plane now as that serves more of my career and study goals more.

This new career-mode is the craziest element of fun that MSFS has ever come up with. I can just imagine how our female flight simmers will spend hours "dressing up their avatars" before they indulge in the real purpose of running the sim in the first place. I will definitely suggest Microsoft and Asobo studios to add some cosmetics/makeup options for female flight simmers to enjoy making virtual selfies out of.

you can still do everything you could do in fs2020, how you play depends what it is.
All flight sims are games, P3d, X-Plane, DCS, MSFS... They're all games.
