you prolly dont care but if you're stoned like me during the covid times then you can stream all of the latest movies and series on instaflixxer. I've been streaming with my gf for the last couple of days :)
0:43 - The Birth and Death of the Day 08:10 - Logic of a Dream 15:20 - Greet Death 24:50 - Human Qualities 33:27 - With Tired Eyes, Tired Minds, Tired Souls, We Slept 45:36 - Disintegration Anxiety 50:17 - Your Hand in Mine 59:23 - Catastrophe and The Cure 1:08:31 - Colors in Space 1:15:45 - The Only Moment We Were Alone
The power of music. Not many concerts actually changed me as player. My brother took me to see these guys after Fri nite lights came out. The show was incredible. Changed the way I approach performance.
The maddening thing about these guys is that as good as many of the live recordings are on youtube, they still dont come anywhere close to providing the sound of actually being at their shows.
Was there. Explosions was outstanding. Best gig I have ever been to. However, note to the crowd. C'mon guys! To the select few who were howling every 3 minutes... loud and rowdy just to be loud and rowdy. Explosions knows you're there because you love 'em. They don't need the excessive cheering, which, unfortunately, partially ruins many of the song's climaxes. Just sit back (or stand), be quiet, and enjoy the magic! Deuces.
I feel you bro. Especially in the pauses before the climax of "The only moment we were alone" that cheering is really frustrating. When i saw them in munich once, they played this song, and everyone was listening silently. While those little pauses, it was so silent, that there was an a sudden vacuum in the atmosphere, which made the climax part crashing in one million times more epic... Unsensitive crowd makes it kind of a waste... :/
Yes, a good example of appropriate quietness go check Mogwai Special Moves movie/album, on Mogwai Fear Satan the crowd was absolutely perfect ( or maybe they were told beforehand )...anyway thats how it should be.
I agree. I've been going to all sorts of music shows for ages. Sometimes there's those lot who do nothing but fill gaps and parts that require the music to fill the air and not someone's random howling.
I really like this, no talking to the crowd, no stopping and no encores. Its like watching a great soccer/football match, just 90 minutes of beautiful flow.
I love EITS but I can’t watch this with this crowd. This is not a lady gaga show, shut up and listen!! Can someone link me to a better live presentation?
Seems like the crowd showed up for service, but got interrupted by a rock band. These guys can put on a show, but that crowd did NOT show up. What a shame
I love this great concerto but at one certo momento dis two with the guitarra (in the specifico Munaf and Carlos) started makin' some big caciara overlookin' da melody precisely at 40:03 the accords and everything. Well, like, not the biggest performance ever played. Bene but not very bene.
@@jaimetrevino4650 toxic, in a spiritual way, to surrounded in all the fog & for the fans. I am no entirely sure about the other kinds of toxicity. It may depend on who's adding what to these fog machines and at what events and what artist is putting on the show. might sound far fetched to some.
Still not as genre pushing or as epic as GYBE, Sigur Ros, DMST, or Swans. In my opinion, EITS r pretty cliche by post-rock standards. And their performance looks like they r trying way 2 hard to be as edgy as Michael Gira.
Neel 2000 unlike many on here I respect your opinion. ..for me though eits just take me to a different place than the others you mentioned. ..well gybe and sigur ros ..im not familiar with swans ..will have to check them out. I agree with you that eits can come across cliche ..but I still have a soft spot for them.. can you recommend a swans album
Your Hand In Mine has got to be one of the most beautiful arrangements ever written
True.
Along with Sultans of Swing The Alchemy Version!
The loveliest song in all of rock n roll.
Factual

@Ali Van yup, I have been watching on InstaFlixxer for since december myself :D
The Birth and Death of the Day is an absolute killer. The intro is the burning sun coming up over the horizon. So good!

The only moment we were alone is an actual masterpiece 👏👏👏
I wish this would get reuploaded in sync! Beautiful music anyway.

I’ve directed over 700 live shows. EITS absolutely blew me away.

its always great to see bands that just really love to play live lol
News
my eyes tear up. Sufism is all about soul, this has soul
15:20 If you ever get a chance to see them play Greet Death live its a performance you'll never forget.
If there was only one RUclips video left in existence, may it be this one

Fuck all that. You enjoy the show in your way and let other people enjoy it in their own way. It's a concert not a ballet.
wtf. control freak much

This is insane. I can't wait to see them live at Arctangent this year !

100%
I was there and it was thoroughly epic.
The foot stomp gives me chills every time man
You’re all lucky to have attended this one.
Seeing them in August in El Paso, super excited.
I've seen it all. People 'wooing' in all the lulls at an EitS concert.
Is it my impression or... '' 50:17 - Your Hand in Mine'' left the audience speechless? So amazing song
Disintegration Anxiety: brings me to tears
its amazing how it starts
Ahhhh. I love this so much.
wow this so nice first time them play what great band
are they playing in front of wolves?
Haha good question
That’s the problem with American audiences, don’t really appreciate them.
Agora eu sei de onde veio do worship rsrs.... Banda muito massa, parabéns! 👏👏👏
THE BEST POST-ROCK BAND.
SIGUR RÓS>>ALL

Is the video and audio completely out of sync for anyone else?
yep, me too, I was wondering why nobody mention that
Tengo que escuchar esas melodías en persona !
Please, video is total out of sync with audio, great concert, but is loses the porpouse of seeing them live
aaah, sublime things running hrough this planet !!!!
The time stamps are all off.
This is amazing.
So good!
Y'all ever listened to Mogwai? I highly recommend them
I do, I actually found about EITS when I was listening to some Mogwai...
My favourite band
One of the loudest bands I've ever heard live. Them and godspeed.
I'm looking for a concert where They had played "a slow dance"
That's my favorite EITS song too, they don't really play it live for some reason!
@@1ajw23 so sad :(
The best!
awesome
This band got me through some rough times in my life. They even influenced me to start my own band PENINZULA. Check us out
sub me for sub back
no comment just watching
Why is like the audio and video not synced up
Mto Loko o som desses caras
I love EITS but I can’t watch this with this crowd. This is not a lady gaga show, shut up and listen!! Can someone link me to a better live presentation?
That's a lot of gaff tape, someone give these guys some strap locks. Brilliant show btw.
Raaah the sound is too much compressed, we can't hear the width of the reveeeerbs :P
Fucking beautiful 🖤🖤🖤
why so many dislikes?
because Generation Z wouldn't know good music if it flied up out of the ocean and bit them in the wanker.
WISH THE LIGHTING WAS BRIGHTER
Starts 5:55
Nah. That climax means nothing without the build up.
lawl, they have trimmed the video since this comment :)
Joshua Hull oh... well now I feel like a fool
why Munaf always tuned his guitar more than Mark?
1:25:57 where did he go lmao
Disintegration Anxxxxxxiety
Seems like the crowd showed up for service, but got interrupted by a rock band.
These guys can put on a show, but that crowd did NOT show up. What a shame
Few in that crowd being complete knobs!
What's up with all the dogs in the audience howling?
What’s with you being dorkbuckle
You out way to many ads on this , just do a big ad at the beginning but it is very annoying ads every 5 minutes almost
1:16:22
is the video way off to the sounds in the first 6-8mins, or just me?
all concert is out of sync
That one dude howling is fricking annoying lol

Spiral13 UpKat™ you’re nuts. It’s part of their beautiful show

DMST?
Do Make Say Think
They where one of the "first" bands. If their music is just like the others you should know why...
why five minutes of intro?
