Nexigo N60 Review, Tuning, and Tips - First Look

- Today I'm taking a look at the NexiGo N60 budget webcam. It features a 1080p 30 frames per second resolution, decent picture quality and one of the best privacy shutters I've seen yet. I'll show you an example of the resolution and quality, along with some pointers on how to tune up the NexiGo using their software for the best picture quality.
The NexiGo is a solid performer, though you should also check out the Jiga Webcam (geni.us/tng-jiga) if your budget is tight or the Logitech Brio 4K (geni.us/tng-brio) if money is no issue.

once you have chosen your preferred settings in the downloaded software and saved. do those changes apply for other software? like OBS. will those fine tuned settings apply there to? thank you
I recently got one but my computer refuses to recognize it or download the software and I feel like I’ve tried everything, any tips?

My camera is recognized by the nexigo settings app but there are some settings that I can't configure that I think would be beneficial to my camera's quality
Any ideas on how to unlock these settings?

Hey man. My camera is working in win10 camera app but the nexigo app hasn't loaded up so cannot adjust the picture well. Is there a driver or something I need to get from their site or reinstall?

Hey! Thanks for the review, I'm thinking about buying this webcam for my lab to do recordings, do you think I can record up to 30min with that camera? Also I see that you have a tripod with it, I would need one as well, do you have the reference please ? :)
Hey Marie! It’s a solid budget camera for sure and the price is right. With the right tuning it can do a great picture. I have used a couple different desk mounts and tripods - do you want adjustability and desktop access or so you need a free standing?

Ok, lots of good options out there. You’ll want one with a 1/4-20 threaded base. Microphone stands usually won’t have this, but all tripods and many ring lights will. Even something as simple as this: amzn.to/3PvEeSD
I purchased this webcam but need to use it with a USB extension cable. The camera works great plugged into the computer directly but will not work with the extension cable. I have tried multiple cables and none work. Don't know what the problem is.
That’s odd - it’s possible the port isn’t putting enough power out to compensate for the longer distance. Is this on a laptop or PC? You can try a different post such as the front panel ones. Also you can try a powered usb hub which usually will work wonders. 👍

i have to ask how did you make the webcam look that good ? i bought the n60 downloaded nexigo software app for the pc and i cant change gamma,hue,brightness etc only very little i can change, also the n60 looks nowhere near as good as what your producing on this video. so are you using a 3rd party software. im just alittle pissed off i spent money on this camera and the quality isnt anywhere near as good as i thought. not your issue i know i love your video just wish i could get mine to look as good as yours
Hey friend! First, always start with good lighting. This can be as simple as a desk lamp nearby with a good shade/diffuser. Then find an app like Camooz which lets you control all the advanced camera settings and you’re good to go! Then you can tune in more details like you noticed. Get the white balance right first, then contrast, then exposure, then brightness. I hope that helps!

It's a decent cam for the money but I really hate the giant FOV. It gives it this annoying fisheye look.
