  • The Lassen Gravel Adventure, a gravel bike event held in Susanville, CA, is a fine time in the saddle and is well worth adding to your schedule of events for 2025.
‪@oldguyandabike‬ did the 60 mile course with Buddy Tony and came back to tell about it...sadly, no Sasquatch encounters.
    Maybe next year.

Climbing is never for nothing, always good to get some vertical. Great scenery, like your background music.

Dawn and I did Lassen, last year, which was the first year and we had a great time, despite the fact that my AXS derailleur was malfunctioning for the first ninety minutes of the ride and stopped us from doing the 95 mile route. We ended up doing the 65 and I just was so impressed with how well organized everything was for the first time putting it on. Loved the area and atmosphere was great. Had to miss it this time. Still healing the collarbone so hopefully back for their third year 👍

Collarbone? Uh oh! Heal up! I thought maybe I would see you two there.

Great video, I did the ride this year and had a great time, beautiful trail and pretty country. I made the same detour, followed some guy to the left at the fork, he said his GPS said go left, I bombed past him and went a couple of miles before I realized there was no one around. The people working the event were fantastic, kudos to the whole operation and I will go back.

👍Thanks for using the 53/11 Formula Michael ❤

Did 40 incredibly dusty, pumice-y, 'pedal like you mean it or walk' miles today and the 53/11 was still dead quiet on the steep paved climb back to the finish.
It's a pleasure to use. Thanks for making it!

Course marker here. We will have a sign at that junction next year to reinforce route direction. We haven’t had any rain for months thus the dust and silt. Thanks for the glowing review. 😊

It was actually very well marked overall. Nice job. And the moon dust was NOTHING compared to what I just experienced at the Mammoth Tuff event. Wow!

I did the 60 last year and finished super fresh, so I decided to do the 94 this year. Started early and finished late. All the beer was gone by the time I finished! :( Sorry I missed you.

Oh man. Was the 94 that much harder?

@@oldguyandabike not really. It was my longest ride in 18 years. I wanted the challenge though.

Who's the musician playing for the riding parts?
