@@maryldemilo I had a job as a navigating officer on ships and I didn't find The Lord or even myself at that time. I took a leave from the artificial life and came in contact with the people of the Lord. Now, I earn less but I feel content because I know the Lord and also because I know he is with me and will always stand by me.

I want to share with you a very personal experience about how I meet God in an amazing way in my life. It was about 20 years ago and I was lying alone in my bed when I suddenly woke up but I couldn't move out of the place and then I felt a stab in my heart and my right arm became completely ice cold as if it was in a deep freezer and I couldn't move. I got very scared and thought it was a heart attack and now I was going to die, I got very sad and thought that I didn't even get to say goodbye to my beloved children and family and how sad and broken they would be if I died now and I wasn't ready for that at all yet, then the tears and anxiety came but suddenly in the middle of it all the whole room was filled with a light that grew stronger stronger and I can't even describe in words how strong and warm that light was and suddenly out of that light a figure appeared and I remember it was someone I had great respect and reverence for but I was not afraid but felt safe and loved unconditionally and love and light poured out from him and he came all the way to the bed and bent over me and whispered something in my ear in a language I didn't understand, I can still remember the feeling of his breath talking to me. Then I must have fallen asleep and the next thing I remember was that I woke up in the morning and remembered it all because when I woke up I jumped out of bed, pinching myself, danced around the living room, took an ice cold bath, because I thought, was I still alive. Yes I was and I felt so good and was filled with a deep inner peace, gratitude and joy. I don't know who visited me, whether it was an angel or Jesus, but it was someone I had the deepest respect for. So God came to mean more to me after that experience and I know there are some who will say I'm crazy and it was just a dream but for me it was reality and something I will never forget. So I know that God is with me all the time and loves me and all people but He gives us our free will so we have to come to Him ourselves but sometimes He comes to us in a way that is not to be misunderstood and I am sure he came this night and saved my life. May God bless you and your loved ones and fill you with his peace and Holy Spirit and Jesus be with you allways. I’m in a 9 to 5 job now. It’s for a medical company and it’s crazy stressful. The money is good but now I’m seeing doctors because of chest pains and stress. Sometimes it’s not worth the money.
You don't have to search to hard... God is EVERYWHERE. Just open your heart to him. ✝️🙏💜My parents didn't teach me about God or Jesus but I felt Jesus with me from early childhood. I would write my prayers once I learned to write and place them beneath my pillow at night. I have been blessed by God's love and guidance my entire life. I'm 63. 🥰
I will definitely say at my current job right now. It is the worst thing for a creative person to do. I am on an assembly line doing the same 1-minute process for each part for 2 hours straight, 4 times a day we make about 300 parts a day. But what I have learned at this job is that God used it to develop my discipline, and also I learned to really lean on Him when I just felt like I couldn't make it anymore. I would start singing a song or praying for strength, and on those days peace would wash over me. The days still were hard but I made it through. I am still trying to find a different job but just trying to figure out what's next.
I think God cares about our work. It is about finding Him in the little moments in all we do. I am in an unfavorable job. It's not the worst but it's not the best. I think keeping a job in it's proper context is important. Not living to work is most important.
