We should all appreciate how Disney is committed to theming on their rides. It’s not like there was a small mountain/hill sitting next to Disneyland. This ride was created on what used to be part of the Disneyland parking lot. They literally built this ride from the ground up!
My dad and I got less soaked on this ride. It's a good flume ride that helps everyone stay cool on hot days. Thumbs up if you agree with me. We were able to board it this year in October.

Story of my life: I went here for a field trip and me and one of my friends went on this at night with a fastpass which was useless at that time while our other friends were eating. When we got there we immediately got on the ride since there wasn’t a wait line, so we called our friends to come over to ride it with us. In the end we all stayed on it for about an hour when we had to leave. We were soaking wet and yet the 4 hour ride home did not dry us up.
I want to ride this for the scenery because it looks really pretty but at the same time I really hate water rides. I have no problem going on any other rides (in fact I love thrill rides) but I hate water rides. I hate walking around with wet clothes lol

Disney needs to up their game and add vignettes of animatronic bears and other critters. Knott's just reopened their river raft ride and they have a ton of cool stuff to look at now.

Me my sister and my dad waited in line for this ride for hours and we still weren’t even that close to getting on then the ride broke down and I was so mad. My mom and other sister didn’t wanna get wet so they just got food and ate while they waited for us but like still I was so mad I didn’t get to ride it.
An identical ride at Dream World, Queensland, Australia killed 4 young Australian adults ( two women and a gay male couple) when two rafts got stuck on the conveyer and flipped crushing and mangling them in the conveyer mechanism. Blood, flesh and guts everywhere. Faulty equipment plus poor operator and safety training for some of the ride attendance were factors. Charges and court action occured as a result.

The best part of this ride is that sometimes I come off soaked head to toe and other times you don’t get splashed by the water . It’s a gamble 🤣

I went on it last week and they spun every raft on the last drop. Must have been disabled while this video was taken.
The ride's experience depends on the season and its weather. Summer days are usually much more easier to get wet on this ride.

Drops aren't bad and it's a really relaxing ride to be honest haha. Just 2 short drops but nothing sudden.
