We drove across the United States from California to Florida to drop off our son for the Disney college program. We stopped in Winslow, Arizona, Santa Rosa, New Mexico where our son jumped into the big blue hole. We are from Santa Rosa, California, so that was very cool to us. We stayed in Tucumcari New Mexico, where we cruised down route 66 listening to oldies music. In Texas we stopped at Cadillac Ranch. Although our trip was done in our sons car, the experience that we had driving across the country was truly an amazing one!
My husband and I had friends in Santa Rosa, and we stayed with them on our first trip to CA. What a beautiful town, and perfect home base for our journeys up and down the PCH.
Those were bear prints when you camped near Flagstaff. FYI: When you know you are going to be going up in elevation, increase your water intake a week before, and add an iron supplement to your diet (help create extra red blood cells) for 10 days (the week before and first 3 days at elevation). You will reduce the likelihood to experience elevation sickness while hiking around.
If you are in New Mexico the first week in October you can come to Albuquerque for the International Balloon Fiesta. It will blow your minds. It’s so much fun and they have RV parks but they go fast so maybe look into 2024. I would love to see you guys there.
Those prints looked like bear paws. I could be mistaken there are large dog breeds that have huge paws as well. Did you get a picture of the prints would have been able to ask a park Ranger their opinion on the prints. I love watching you and Dave always a joy to watch and having fun, and enjoying the the local eats. Where ever you're journey takes you it is all very beautiful and it is what I love the most, traveling with you both and the kitkats. Be safe much fun and God bless this beautiful world we live in.
If you're driving between San Antonio and El Paso - west of Fort Stockton - there's a small town 10 miles off the freeway named Balmorhea - "BAL muh RAY" with a wonderful crater-like lake, and a canal running past li'l cottages. So beautiful. It's worth the side trip.
We are a new boondocking family. Three adults, three kids, and two dogs! You guys are favorite to watch! So much love and fun. !! Thank you. You inspire us!
Mmmm! did I hear u say porch chops. My favorite. Especially at my Birthday ( Sunday may 28th ). Gosh! Dinner looks so good. Gorgeous view up there. Thanks for the adventure. U go TIUW.
I like both styles of your videos. Keep them both going. Learning along with you on your towns is fun. Educational. But l love just watching both of you just exploring and cooking or eating at the local specialty spots. I love you guys!😊
I have visit new Mexico yrs ago. Was in Texas a little over a month ago. I also visit your great state of Vegas what a time. Very happy to see you out on the road again. You turn it up world.
Have you guys been to Petit Jean State Park in Arkansas? My husband and I spent this last weekend there hiking to Arkansas tallest waterfall, cedar falls. We stayed in CCC cabins at the edge of a cliff on top of the mountain. The campgrounds for rv’s are just as beautiful. The park is amazing. I highly recommend it.
Love watching you two. I was a over the road truck driver many years ago. So I know the road in that way. The U.S. is the most exciting country to see. Be happy be safe😊
I'm going to say coyote... but what do I know? bobcat, much like Mt. lion do not exhibit their claws in tracks. Whatever it is, I so wish you guys lived near me. We'd cook and have a blast!!
Hey hey y’all! What a beautiful and fun trip you took us on! I love how joyful y’all are and how I always smile throughout your videos. Love to you both and the kitties. Hugs and prayers ❤️🙏🏻❤️🙏🏻❤️🙏🏻
Great video as always!! Did I miss something? What didn’t he tell you? What was emotional? (Other than your pure joy) How did you end your van life? Did I have one too many glasses of wine?
Thank you. No you didn’t miss anything. So Dave never shared the full plans of this trip with me so it was pretty much a surprise the entire time! The emotion and ending relates more to the ending with RV Unplugged, which was an intense experience for everyone involved! Hope this helps, and thanks so much for your support!
And just saying I was born in 1969 and and the lord bless the birds and the bee and some great 430 trees but am low key disabled ex , RN , and we live o. Fixed in come and already have great camper but y’all keep paying forward all ur experience with respect be safe
Nice spot you found! What a great breakfast outside in the cool mountain air! I'm so jealous! We aren't headed back to Arizona until end of August. Those are probably coyote tracks. Cats don't have visible claws in their tracks.
that is a beautiful state park, I had a travel assignment in Las Vegas, New Mexico and spent many an hour at that park. Didn't get to camp but I loved it
My macaw parrot LOVED your “Whoo!”when you entered Texas. She gave you about five or six extra. Whoo’s! To the time of the music Because she loves that blues song you played. Thanks for that big LMAO! She likes your voice a lot😂 Turn it up world!!! Big howdy from East Texas at lake Sam Rayburn.
Loved this adventure. So happy to be back with you. You've made so many friends on your travels and they make things so much more interesting. These are adventures you will never forget. Hope you are writing a book.

Deep in the heart of Texas! I haven't heard that since grade school. It was a short spooky little joke/story. I used to remember it all word for word and loved telling it to friends who never heard it. Who remembers the whole thing? I forgot it. Gotta Google. Always good to catch up with you two 💕
Found it! It was the first day of school and this girl's teacher asked her what her name was. She said "Texas." The teacher said, "Haha, no really, what's your name?" and the girl said, "Texas," so the teacher said, "Go to the principal's office." The principal said, "What's your name?" She replied, "Texas." He said, "Funny, what's your name?" and she said, "Texas," so he sent her home. As Texas was walking home, a guy stopped her and said, "What's your name?" She said, "Texas." He said, "That's funny. No, really, what's your name?" She said, "Texas." He said, "I will stab you with my mother's butcher knife if you don't tell me what your real name is," and she said, "IT'S TEXAS!" so he stabbed her. When he got home, his mother asked, "Where's my butcher knife?" and he sang "DEEP IN THE HEART OF TEXAS!"
"Bugs across America." 🤣 Now that's original! 👍 I picture thousands of bugs of all types joining their little bug hands up and down America's highways. Priceless! 👏👏 Another fantastic video, T&G!

We drove to the Grand Canyon this Spring from Houston, driving thru Amarillo and stopping in Santa Rose. It was an amazing drive. (We didn't get to stop at the Blue Hole.)
I just love you guys. Such a beautiful couple. I love the areas you were in. Oh you can't help but sing in Winslow. Girl your food was on point. It looked so yummy. The paw prints looked like a coyote. Awesome video as usual. Have a wonderful week ❤

Yep, it's a cat. Any larger track and it could have been a puma/mountain lion/jaguar. They do roam parts of Texas but this was definitely a bobcat, also known as a lynx. My husband and I really enjoy your videos. I’m not sure if it’s the videos or something else but we are seriously talking about buying a motorhome as our permanent home. We are retired, currently work pt out of interest. I’m 68 - 69 in August. Hubby is 80, so living full time in a motorhome will be a huge adjustment but so far the idea is an enticing adventure. The expense lies in the repairs to the RV or motor home. If you travel then you are far from parts, and mechanics able to repair them. Most were not designed to endure 365 travel, so that is the risks. My friend 72 and I have talked about it, travel Canada summer and head south in winter. But when your "home" gets towed away for repair, where do you stay, your whole life is in that vehicle. That gets pricey.
What a fun trip! I didn't know Tanya could sing so well...Glenn and JB would be proud. 😂 Looking forward to more trips, especially in southern in- between towns I don't travel. Keep truckin! 😊😊😊😊🥂🥂🥂
Size of prints...bobcat. Not a Mountain Lion. Love the theater seats in other RV...boy so those ladies look comfy. Little chilly sleeping is comfortable to me.
Every time I see a negative title to your video, or any ideas video's, I dont watch them at all, I just skip over them, because I don't watch a minute of anything with negativity or sadness at all,, being I watch for enjoyment, fun and happy times...being I am dealing with illness with others, I cant handle the smallest negative anything, also being there is so much sadness in the world and on the news,I just found you and truly loved the ones I have watched, but at first I just wanted to say I was skipping over more & more, but this title made me want to say thanks for the fun I did have, and I am so sorry your your camping days are over, I hope they ended for better reasons, but trust, I fight for happy fun times too, so I get it, I wish you the best, love your sense of humor, you brought when I was tuning in... Gosh RUclips has really changed, lot of people have changed. Keep having fun.
You should watch the video. You’ll enjoy it! We’re not getting rid of our RV the emotional ending was the RV Unplugged Rally seeing all this those people that travels far and wide, that came to see us. You’ll enjoy the video!
Hi! I'd been following you both n been enjoying your journey traveling to different parks. I'm not a traveler, sure felted like taking this trips with you both. Be bless and safe n thank you for this video's.
Cat tracks don't have claw marks (they retract them), but dogs, wild/domestic do leave claw marks. If it was a elongated paw shape with claw marks then a bear walked that way. ❤

Its definitely some sort of giant dog or wolf, bear paws usually have five toes and you'd see the back paw tracks.

Cat tracks don't have claw marks (they retract them), but dogs, wild/domestic do leave claw marks. If it was a elongated paw shape with claw marks then a bear walked that way. ❤
