I was there APRIL 18. Just a few days behind you. Love Oatman. A year ago, we took our 30 foot TT down that road. Didn’t see the signs that warned against it. Hairy!!!! This year just in our pickup. Hope you have Jerome and Bisbee on your itinerary. So much to see and do in Arizona. Wild horses up the Bush Highway and along the Salt River. You may have to come back like we did. Don’t miss Tortilla Flats either.
I would love to make another trip across the US, but this time doing it on all back roads like Route 66. Love traveling the back roads with the slower pace, more beautiful scenery, wonderful people, best Mom & Pop restaurants, and more. Ok, I can only dream about it, but one good thing about dreams, they're free. Thank you so much for sharing your adventures and all the wonderful things you get to experience. May God continue to Bless & Protect you as you continue your journey & accomplishing your goals/dreams.

The short bushes all around with pink or white flowers are oleander which is poisonous. Don't even use a twig from one to roast marshmallows. Good to see you guys!
Yep! They grow 8’-10’ tall in some places, and all parts of the plant are incredibly toxic. That marshmallow stick killed an adult man, and don’t let your dog chew one, either.
I’ve been to that town. It was pretty fun. We were visiting Laughlin and took a side trip.

The audio books on audible are fantastic with a male and female reader and they change their voice for the different characters. There are 14 books and the audio versions are 25 to over 40 hours in length. I’m on the second to last book now… Would be a great listen on long travel days…

I grew up camping as kids. My parents purchased a tag along camper, graduated to 28 foot class C and then graduated to a 33 or 34 foot Class A. I love camping. I hadn't camped for years after my folks passed away. 2 years ago my husband and I picked up camping. We tent camp, I love it. Although I would like to go back to RVing? We own a blueberry farm. Our early summer and late summer is too busy for RVing. We still enjoy tent camping with another 2 couples, on the weekends we can have someone take over our lil business for a weekend. It's just so relaxing.
I am convinced you both would fit in great in my household. Grogu, naughty jokes and ACDC yuk yuks.

Rte 66 so much fun, we did KS to NM this fall. Some of the big stops were closed on Mondays......but we saw a bunch of cool stuff along the way!!

The Folklore is Oatman kids never had snow for christmas, So they would pile up rocks to make believe that they were snowmen. Crazy would tell every person this story and encourage everyone to make one on there way out of oatman. See what happens, Word of mouth. Gaurantee that the person or family would come back and see their snowman. Family time when you do not have a lot.

lol …. Years ago we were leaving a rodeo in Havasu I believe but somehow our lovely GPS ‘Penelope’sent us to Kingman via this Route 66 road …… we were in a Peterbilt Toterhome with 5 horse trailer (5 horses of course!) 😮 total length 60 feet. We got some odd incredulous looks from the dudes on motorcycles needless to say. We made it too Oatman! Enjoyed the scenery 😅 while driving slowly navigating those hairpinturns. Gotta love us some adventures!!! 😊

Las Vegas resident here and we just went to Oatman for a visit. Never again! The confederate flags and anti-Biden merch were disgusting. Meeting the burro was our highlight. We left and won’t ever return. Scary.

Hi there guys of what a change in weather from that snowstorm. The States are a special place Palm trees that grow in sand nothing grows in sand in my part off Canada except more sand and ants. Well some garden stores sell cacti but in soil with sand on top they do survive. So l am glad you have nice weather Mrs ( sorry don't know you name ) is a good driver esp.takling those blind hills just like being on a ride at the fair. OK so l am am curios about your rig do you have any videos showing it off l mean is there enough space in there for a toilet and shower? I hope l àm not being rude ok so take care love birds have fun.😊❤

It’s a camping thing then …. That cooler looks to big for a car lifer lol. But cool to see, I’m gonna see if there’s smaller ones. Converting my 03 vw Jetta into a home, I was gonna cut my passenger dash out and set the fridge in there tucked out of the way but the power would be my issue lol running a mini fridge in a car lol
