Very thorough in your videos. Wish I was confident enough to do this work myself. Also, did this on my Dyna and didn’t do gold tubes and regret it considering what I paid for the labor. Missed opportunity for sure.
Great video.. here's a little CVO part price difference story for ya.. have a 24' RG and ordered the forged carbon front fender. When I went to pick it up they said that'll be $925(or so). I said no no no it's listed as 5 and change on the HD web site. After some digging, turns out they ordered the CVO ST part number, which that fender is stock on. We pulled it out of the box, took it over to a regular RG to see if there was any reason it wouldn't fit being the ST has the inverted forks but it looked like it would bolt right up. BUT, just to be safe, they ordered the regular RG part number for me. When it came in they still had the "CVO ST" fender. So we compared the two. The numbers on the box were different but the fenders were exactly the same down to the part number stamped on the underside of the fender... freaking crazy!! $400 dollar difference for the EXACT same part just different numbers on the box for the CVO.
For anyone that hasn’t changed out the silver bolts for the nacelle, if you don’t use your seat strap, or switch seats, those torx bolts work great and are black as well. Best part, there free! Awesome Videos!
Enjoyed the video. You did two good things. I see you have solid risers with shorter handlebars and along with the suspension upgrades - makes huge difference in handling. I had issues with the stock handlebars torsion loading in hard corners. Anyone that love to ride the twisties needs this upgrade. I appreciate your attention to detail on the upgrades - the RG looks great!
Thank you for the supportive words, I try! The t bars and now suspension have been the best upgrades on the bike. Tires and brakes will bring it to the next level!
Decided to not get the necelle from Harley also, after the price. OG Moto has a milled top triple tree for cheaper than that necelle which is what I'm going to do eventually. Love how your bike is coming along, I have a white RG 24' also, went with SP Concepts and love it based on your video. I did however go Legends front and rear for suspension. Keep the content rollin brother and ride safe.
@@NeatFreq I thought the same, a whole new top tree is cheaper from any company!! Glad you’re enjoying that SP concepts exhaust, I love mine as well. Sounds like your bike is dang well setup, enjoy the ride!!🙌
Nice work on the suspension install! I did progessive front and rear on my 2020 Ultra limited!! Complete different bike now! Thanks for sharing...stay safe out there!!😎🤙👍🤙👍🇨🇦
I drilled mine out with a hole saw a couple of months ago when I slid the tubes up to lower the front end and inch, put some black rubber caps over them and called it good. 😂looks fine hardly anyone ever notices it.
You’re not wrong, I just don’t want to go too gold crazy, it’s not my thing, I’m still determining my direction with the build, we’ll see how it goes!😅
I need mid controls because I hit the brackets that the floor boards mount to. Even the cvo st has the same mounting hardware zero clearance for leaning.
@@OffWeekGarage You got it bud. Loves your videos. I dont even own a Harley but I watch all you install videos and Harley videos start to finish. Keep it up.
Interesting, Öhlins emailed me awhile back and said the cartridge kit for the 24+ touring models was part number FKS 527. Wonder what the difference is??
Nice job Jesse. Did the same on my '24 RG and wasn't sure about it for awhile until I realized how improved the control is; like you say, cornering and overall feel and control is so much better now. What size hole saw did you end up using on the nacelle?
I don’t remember what size hole saw, I’m not home for another day I’m sorry. Glad you love them too and thank you for the input, hopefully it doubles down on convincing people it is totally frickin worth it!!!
Right if you want to feel every bump and crack in the road chance them to Ohlins or Legends. But if you want a smooth ride and also handle in the corners the twisties go with the, Wilbur's
ha when you put them footboards on you said you had been scraping your stock boards and were gonna show but never did.. now your saying you never scraped till now hmmm
@@brandendoyle8984 You’re right, I should have clarified I had never scraped the thrashin’ floor boards til now. I had scraped my stock boards, and then my kickstand with the thrashin boards, but now we’re into the thrashin floor boards.

Great video luv your friends HD color with the black exhaust pipes 👍🏼
Wilbers on my 22 RG special
Absolutely sensational
Highly recommend
I’ve heard those are great as well!
I have a CVO ST and i dialed in my suspension perfect for myself it runs and handles amazing..
I did the same and wow! What a difference!
Hello, Jesse, thank you for another nice video 😊🤗
My 2008 Buell Ulysess came with adjustable Kyba shocks and forks.. I am glad I don't have to spend a pile of money on upgrades.
Great channel man, I really enjoy your honesty and appreciate that! Keep up the good work and I look forward to seeing more! 🤘
Thank you for the kind words man, I appreciate the support!⚡️

I hope to do ohlins on mine this winter. I'll do the same shocks but plan to set the reservoirs behind the saddle bags.

4:50 Smart move to blur your speed gauge. RUclips lawyers might get ya. 😅
He’s in Mexico
great upgrade
@@hudsonrilke it certainly is! My favorite upgrade along with exhaust and t bars!!
Now you need some gold levers and hockey pucks on the ends of your bars to bring the tubes and back ohlin suspension together 🔥

Dammit , now I have to order mine ! . what mirror's are you running , mite as well get those to . Keep up the great content .
The mirrors are Harley Davison Adversary collection!!
Good video as always. Also quick question what phone mount do you use?
Looks like a quad lock
Nice work
Could you give all the details on what you ordered for both front and back suspension? Thanks!!!
Just added all the part numbers in the description, they are in the install video as well!🫡

Great video, the fronts did you install the 12 or 13 nm springs?
Yo... FYI insta360 recommends you face one of the lenses towards you so that the seam in the video is not as noticeable.
I’ll try that out, thank you!!!

Come ride out in sf bay area bud!
Just gotta ride her a few more times you'll figure out were your lean angle is at and you won't scrape anymore 😊 Rubber side down shiny side up.

You guys gotta ride Harpers Ferry WV area. Hit me up.
What windshield are you running?
Klockworks 10” dark smoke sport flare!!
When you upgrade your tires, you will like the ride better.
change the tires next and watch how it handles!
edit: it’ll handle even closer to a sport bike
Which tires do you recommend
That is coming up on the list along with brakes!
So it’s now more harsh and stiff on the ride?? Cool…
What mirrors?
Harley Davidson Adversary collection!!
👍
you dont need those sliders.... get the arlen ness peg controls....
So i guess youre saying if you want a smoother riding Harley dont put these ohlins in.
