- That's right! We are Team Saddleman now!
Buster over at Saddleman offered to build out a custom seat for the channel & I was so excited to jump on board with that! The build quality, fit & finish, & comfort is second to none!!
Saddleman is located in CA here in the U.S. They have been building the highest quality seats for decades. Their employees have been there for decades. When I called their main line with a question about the seat pan material for this video, I was connected with a human in under 3 minutes. He was very helpful. It is obvious to me everyone there is passionate about their company and process.
We take the seat for it's maiden voyage for a lap around the Hood Canal, scrape some floor board, eat some food & more!
Thank you for the continued support, none of this would be possible without every single one of you!

Hey, thanks for the road test views....nice day to ride! Good scenery.
Your content of this video is the best...the custom seat from Saddleman is great.
@@sandramarie5539 thank you for the kind words and for watching!!🙌
Stoked you love it, looks great on the bike as well! Enjoy the ride!
Thank you, looking forward to many smiles per miles on it!🤘
Hi Jesse, Mick from Australia been watching your Ch since you bought your new Road Glide
& really enjoy watching your Ch & awesome content & Love how the bike is coming along &
the mods you are doing, congrats with the saddleman seat, I ride with one their awesome
Keep up the awesome video, cheers👍👍👌👌🙌🙌
I'm happy to hear that Saddleman fixed the issue with the saddlebag guards!
Good looking seat.
She looks awesome !!! Great collab with saddle man . Your content is always great and very informative.
I've got the same exact bike with an extended reach, lattice stitch saddleman road sofa. Got the seam stitching in white with everything else black. Looks amazing and feels even better!
Sounds like you've got a great setup! I considered white or gold stitching, but ultimately liked the stealthy look. Plus it’ll go with any direction I end up with the bike.🤘
@OffWeekGarage for sure. That seat looks great. I kept the LS and logos black so that it wasn't too over the top.
Been looking at the Saddleman seats! Love the scenery! Need to take us out and about more!😉👍 Great video...thanks for sharing...stay safe out there!😎👍🤙👍🤙🇨🇦
I recommend checking them out for your next seat choice. I’m very happy with the product and the company, always nice supporting a brand you really respect. I’m working to improve my riding videos, along with the filming and editing process which will hopefully make it easier for me to bring more volume of riding content to you!! Obviously weather permitting. Thank you for the support!🫡🤙
Bike is looking awesome. Keep up the great content.
Hello Jesse, just came from my walk and there is a nice surprise, another video from you. Yay…🤗🍂🍁
Hope you enjoyed your walk and the video!!🫶
@@OffWeekGarage, absolutely Jesse, always…🤗🍁🍂
Thank you for sharing this video. I think you did a great job of representing Saddlemen
We recently switched our customers from Corbin to Saddle Man.
Unfortunately, the last two Road Sofa seats we got the foam on the sides were trimmed incorrectly, and you could see the imperfections through the vinyl. Hopefully they’ll fix this problem. I should get an RA to send the 2nd one back to our vendor.
Either way, I think they still make a nice product .
Cheers
Thank you for the kind words!! That is a bummer to hear a little bit of quality control issues. I fully believe they’ll make it right though. I was so impressed I was able to call them and actually speak to a person. Not to mention they’re made under one roof by people who have been in the same building making these seats for decades, here in the US. Love that.
Thanks for the ride man! BA seat too.
Heck yeah, glad I could get a dry ride in and capture some fun pnw fall riding!!
Looks awesome. Great job speaking on behalf Saddleman. They got their investment worth. To be honest, I love my CVO solo seat. Not changing it for anything. First time I ever liked a Harley seat 😂😂😂😂😂. It’s is phenomenal.
Thank you for the compliment brotha!!🙌 The CVO solo seat is a badass seat. Materials are dope, it’s wide and comfy but still looks aggressive. I fully understand you wanting to keep that thing!!
@ your ride on this video and the gorgeous scenery brought me so many memories of the pudget sound and peninsula high school. Moved to AZ in 2003 because what you said on the video. Rains a ton. I do not like the cold and rainy weather. The years I spent in Gig Harbor were depressing at times. Anytime you come down to AZ please reach out to me. I’ll show you some great riding, food and fun. We have tons of great bike builders here. Trask. Paul Yaffe. Dirty Bird Concepts. Kruesi Originals and many more🙏👍🙏
Very cool, the gf and I love dinner down in gig harbor. It’s grown and changed a lot, even more of a charming town now. It’s only 30 mins from us. I have been wanting to ride down to AZ, I requested the week off work for Az bike week so might make it down for that! My buddy Dan in this video, went to school in Az so he’s always down to go back as well. I will definitely announce my planned trips to make sure I get to link up with subscribers and get the best riding possible!🤘🤘
@@OffWeekGarage sounds great brother. Keep at it. Your channel is awesome.
Nice. However, I may be an outlier. I have 6400 miles on my '24 Road Glide with some 8+ hour days. I find the stock seat to be comfortable and attractive. No complaints.
I agree, the stock seat is absolutely comfortable. HD did a great job on the oem seats on the new 24’ models. But, there is room for improvement whether someone wants a sportier seat, or a more comfortable long distance seat.🙌
I live in Cleveland, I used to put my bike away early, I bought heated jacket liner/gloves, that is a game changer for riders who want to ride.
It’s seriously a game changer. No need to be uncomfortable with all the options we have available today!!
Great channel bro, great content…I myself have a saddleman and I love it! Hope you feel better soon….😂😂
Thank you for the kind words sir!✊ It must’ve just been a quick bug, I made it to work the following day 😂
@ 🤣🤣
@ btw you’ll love sturgis, I went in 2023, plan on riding back in 2026….I’m from Louisiana
Heck yeah that’s what I like to hear, I’m planning a few trips next year, hoping to do Daytona, az bike week, born free and sturgis. We’ll see if I can make it all!!
you should come to Blood Sweat and Beers first sat in June starts at the Garage Bar in Bremerton
I can never turn down an excuse to ride my motorcycle or hit the Garage, I’m game!🤘
the gerbing heated pants are top notch, ive been wearing them in 30-degree weather doing about 70-80mph on average and they feel great. Haven't even had to crank them all the way up yet. I chose to go with the actual pants and not the liners because the pants themselves are waterproof as well.
That’s awesome to hear, I’ve been curious about those pants vs liners. I already have these waterproof alpinestars pants and they are good without the heated aspect so I figure just the liner will do. Thank you for the info!!
I wasn’t a fan of the liners, the fit is more like parachute pants. Don’t know if your Harley dealer carries the liners, fortunately mine did. So I got to try them on before buying
They do, I’ll try them out, thank you!!
That seat looks sharp, I noted immediately how it molded to the rear fender. My kids all have Saddleman seats on their bikes. My thoughts on HD accessories: the HD sells it, so they don't need to put any effort into it. End thought. I have 3 seats I rotate on my RG depending on planned ride. Solo, 2 up comfort equivalent to the mustang touring seat, and the stock seat.
Yeah I’m up to 3 seats already and will be adding a road sofa. The stock seat will collect dust and the HD step up will go bye bye!
Love the Saddleman had one on my 2017 Road Glide want one for my CVO ST but it said that it doesn't fit with the saddlebag guard with the sliders on it like the one
you have and so do i .all the Harley 2024 touring seats have a indent on both sides of the seat so the saddlebag guards will fit. So when i get my saddleman seat i will have to notch both sides.
You can see here what i'm talking about 7:37 If you feel the seat that you just took off where the guard meets the seat you can duplicate the notch.
Go to 4:35 on my video, you’ll see Saddleman DOES have the cutouts for the 2024’s now.🙌🙌
@OffWeekGarage oh, that's good to know. I must have missed that part. Had a phone call in the middle of watching your video.
@ no worries, yeah I wanted to make sure to touch on that in the video because I know that was a concern for folks!!🫡
@@OffWeekGarage Thank you
Hell yeah man didnt know your from the pnw stay safe out there that blue moose spot is good 🤙
Yes sir, been here my whole life!🤘🤘
👍
Can you share a link for the heated gear? Are the plugged directly into ports under seat? Maybe you have a video product review?
Yes, I have a video I did on it last season. I think I will actually do another this year now that I have a new leather jacket as well. Here is the link: ruclips.net/video/Jfuunjdfm9E/видео.htmlsi=9xv6QuP6_gd3eXq6
@ Thanks I’ll check it out 👍
I have the Saddleman Road sofa on my ‘23 CVO but I like Mustang seats a lot more. They just haven’t come out with the Mustang Wide Tripper for the new style Harley yet.
Never sat on a Mustang, I look forward to getting a road sofa next summer and doing a review on it though. Never had a cushy, wide, backrest seat.
I have owned several saddlemen seats now and each one of them takes about 6000 miles to break in. I got the road sofa on my new 24 roadglide and actually e mailed them to tell how long it takes to break in. I had my son on the back for 2 weeks and we absolutely cursed the seat the whole trip. Had a corbin seat on my bmw last year and it was superior over the road sofa.
I’m curious how much you weigh, perhaps that’s a factor with break in? Mine is comfortable right from the get go, they are definitely more firm than stock seats which are super soft but it’s a good comfortable seat right out of the box.
Great review. I’ve always been a huge fan of saddleman for all of my previous bikes. What rear view mirrors are you rockin ?
They are the Harley Davidson Adversary mirrors! Thank you for watching!!🙌
Very nice 👍
Thank you!! Already can’t wait for nice weather to get back to pretty much dailying the bike!
I’ll see you in Sturgis buddy 😂
Already booked a room 🤣
Great video 👍
Heck yeah, I’m super excited, first time!!🤘🤘
@ me too 😁🤙 your comment is exactly how I feel 😁
@@rollinwitzig7789 LFG!!!! I’m trying to make it one to remember!🫡🔥
@ indeed 🫡🎉🔥
What’s the best place to stay in Sturgis, Im planning to go for the first time 2025
I do not recall you mentioning if the Saddlemen moved you forward or back when compared to your HD one.
@@briannorwell202 it doesn’t seem to have moved me forward at all, just up!
Love my saddleman. Just breaking in now after about 400 miles. Suspect it’ll keep getting better.
Mine came with a rain sock?
Interesting, mine did not came with a rain sock! Unless I’m wearing the rain sock as a t-shirt by mistake.😂🤘 cannot wait to rack the miles on with the seat, it’s such a huge improvement over the latter!
I rode the StepUp with gel in my Low Rider St for 10k miles and will not be buying that seat a second time. My upholsterer opened this seat and I already know why it soaks up so much water and supposedly takes so long to break in 😉 .
On my RG24 I did the option of buying the cheapest version of the Switchback and having it redone for me - the best gel (not the cheapest ultra thin layer) and materials - which still came out much cheaper and twice as comfortable as the Saddlemen.
Interesting, glad you’re able to find a solution that works well for you!!🙌
Let’s gooooo
😈🤘🤘
Just wish they’d release an Sdc model for the Cvo st
I am not qualified to speak on this because I did not hear this from Saddleman, but rumor has it there will not be an SDC model for the 24’s. So I’d call Saddleman and ask!
Well rumor was BS, they just dropped the SDC pro in tuck and full and diamond yesterday!!🙌
Lock that bad boy up. Those seats are expensive. Check out Robert Becker Seat Lox. You can also get their helmet lock while using the same set of keys for the seat lock
I’ll check it out, thank you!!🤘
The seat. It's like a vacation for your ass!
When you take the OEM parts off the HD and look at the way they are made(seats for example), you can see they're not all that good. They look good but not good. Definitely made to produce as inexpensive as possible and look good(from a distance) when making tens of thousands of the same thing. Same is true for any OEM I guess. The OEM comfort NEVER hits the mark IMO. Foam on plastic. That's been the same on any OEM seat I've had for the last 40 years.. One thing I will say about my Saddlemen is that for some reason, it holds water for a long time after riding in the rain. I.e. I get a wet hiney even if the bike has sat for days after being subject to heavy rain. Still comfy though. Probably a good idea to dry that out quickly before mold finds a home.
I agree, oem parts never have the same care given as aftermarket companies. Saddleman being a seat company not an entire motorcycle company, has the opportunity to really shine in that aspect. And they are. I am really impressed with the build quality. I’m a stickler for straight stitching, symmetry, etc, and this seat does not disappoint. I have yet to get the seat wet, I know exactly what you mean though, my dirt bike seat is the same way. Unfortunately the more stitching you add on a seat, the more place water can get in and get absorbed by the foam.
Come to Florida 😅it's not cold 🎉
@@MrXltennis I’m coming for Daytona bike week last week of February!! But I’ll be in a rental car 🙃
Ill buy that switchback seat from ya. I'm wanting the saddlemen sdc but not out yet
I can’t say for sure as I have not spoken to Saddleman about this, but rumor has it the SDC is no more. I’d call and ask them! I have a subscriber who already asked to buy the seat last video, if he does not I will get back to you!!🙌
@OffWeekGarage i called saddlemen sales and they said they had no idea they don't get told what's coming out new. But definitely lmk about that seat I'll get it
Well rumor was BS, they just dropped the SDC pro in tuck and full and diamond yesterday!!🙌
@@OffWeekGarage for the 24s!!??
@ yes! Literally dropped yesterday!
Dig that hat
@@DillyDog94 so do I, it’s one of my new favorites!!🤘

I had to 😂
What are some good spots to hit up Washington
Depends on the time of year but there is a lot of good riding, along the coast along pacific coast highway, 410 through the mountains past rainier, hwy 20 to Winthrop, anything along the Columbia river gorge. When the weather is nice this place is rider paradise.
@@OffWeekGarage currently by forks area
@@starfox2795 yeah so you’ve got good riding up there, you can ride to port Townsend and go ride Whisbey and all that area, or make your way to just past Sequim and do the hood canal loop!
happy butt time 🤘⚡🤘✨✨✨
Haha happy butt time is right!!🫡😂
I looked at them when I was at the Panama City rally. 1K for a seat is a bit ridiculous. Definitely nice but way over priced.
A fully built out touring seat with heat and a backrest at 1k is pretty standard amongst top of the line touring seat options. Buy once cry once. That seat will fit any touring Harley you own for the next 10 years!
Well Jesse here’s my 2 cents. I’ve really enjoyed your videos until this one. You have always been pure but I guess in this RUclips world it eventually has to change. When companies start giving you things that’s awesome and I feel you deserve it but at the same time you lose your innocence. I know you said Saddlemen didn’t ask for anything but they were definitely expecting something as one person pointed out they don’t just send these seats out for fun. They are expensive! I know as I own two of them and they are a nice product. I think at the beginning of your video when you stated that “a company who I consider to be the best seat manufacturer within the Harley Davidson space reached out to you personally”. My question is if you think they are the best then why did you buy the Harley Davidson step up which you say was the same price?? Statements like that make no sense. Again Jesse I’m not here to tell you your business but I will say I think this is the beginning of the end of those honest videos where you bought the product and gave your honest opinion. I’ve seen it with so many Harley RUclipsrs. Wishing you all the best and continued success!
I hear you on what you’re saying and I hope you consider what I have to say on the subject:
Thing is, I won’t accept and review something if I don’t think it is a good product to begin with. I have an email box full of unaccepted offers from companies to try their products out, some of which being expensive stuff that would be cool to have for free but I turn them down because I’m not going to sell out. If I get a product from a company I believed to be good and it turns out to not be good, I will always be honest of that as well.
I purchased the Harley Davidson step up BEFORE Saddleman released seats for the 2024 models. I purchased my bike end of January when there was NO aftermarket. And I did so knowing I would upgrade to a Saddleman after some time. It was worth it to me to buy the HD one, review it, put some miles on it and upgrade down the road. Just as I will do with some of my other parts. Everyone knows the top seat companies in this industry and Saddleman is one of them. I hope you stick around and continue watching, there is a lot more I plan to do with this build, most of which with my own money. Thank you!🙌
If you watched his video of when he got his Harley Davidson step up saddleman hadn't released theirs it was the one of the best options at that time if I remember correctly he did say that eventually he'd get a saddleman when they released them
Jesse sell me for a great great price that HD step up seat you had before this saddlemen step up seat
I am going to cut my hair like yours , so I get a free seat from saddle man. But then I'd be a salesman as well, so pass .
Saddleman gave me NO direction when offering to send me the seat. There was not even talk of a review. I chose to do the review, and I chose to say good things about it because I like it and the company. You’re welcome for the honest review!🙌
@OffWeekGarage there not sending free seats to bikers that are not on a media platform. If you want them to use for to sale for there product that's on you.
The big problem with this saddlemen seat is the terrible ugly look… Absolutely does not match to your beautiful bike. I don't understand why people spoil the look of their motorcycles with these angular seats. LePera Kick is much better.
I’m sorry you feel that way, to each their own!!🙌
When you're scared to hang on!
Gotta ride with the fear 🙌😂
