My bolts did same thing I just broke the clip on the one..., the plastic clips came out fine... mine was driver side and not much room to get to bulb so I had to take tire off the get better access..., was still hard to turn bulb out . Def take clip off if you can it’s be easier to turn bulb out and in.

Thank you, when I tried this on my car, the bolts that hold the fender are so rusty one of them broke off and the others wont move, they feel like they're about to RIP off the whole structure, any suggestions?

Use WD40 on them

you don't want to touch the new bulb. You hand oils get on the glass and it will burn out again. just fyi

You need new tires
