I have that large bag with the open top. It is super versatile. Use it for Trader Joe’s runs 3 times a week. If stuff from TJ’s is coming out of the top I just put a bungee cord over it. Simple.

I wish they made a conversion adapter clip so electric Brompton bikers could use these bags too. So far, there are only two bags available for the Electric Brompton. I ride without my battery sometimes too.

I like the overall look and the way the foldover make it more water-resistant, but realized that the high sides and dark interior make it hard to see my things. I'm trying to figure out how to line it with something brighter that will also add more organization.

I have the big borough bag. It lets me carry my laptop, electronics bag, lunch, a sweater, and a foldable backpack. The backpack is for shopping after work.
I have a metro backpack and I love it. However as you pointed out, one can keep the bag on the brompton when folded, So I‘d love to see a backpack for the rack with a clever mounting options for longer ride.
Interesting. I think an equally pertinent question would be why do I not need this bag. I imagine the short answer for most people would be, because I already own a bag. I have one of those whacky ones with straps that you put over your shoulders 😂
Hi there! Just about any of the bags aside from the smalls and tote will bit your laptop and full size keyboard. Personally, I would just the Metro Messenger large for that extra space.
Ridiculous prices! A bag is a bag. More money than sense is what comes to my mind when i see people posing with their Brompton bag when there are bags which will exactly the same job at a fraction of the price. Keep marketing!

When I got my Brompton in 2021, the staff at the shop all had the large borough roll top bag. After 3 years with it, I completely understand why.

Which backpack / messenger style front bag would fit a full size keyboard? (With a 13” laptop and chargers)
Hi there! Just about any of the bags aside from the smalls and tote will bit your laptop and full size keyboard. Personally, I would just the Metro Messenger large for that extra space.
The numpad apple keyboard just barely fits the metro backpack. I would go with a higher bag, so it has more wiggle room

Bag is never just a bag. R&D goes into it, pride in crafting it and high quality materials are selected. Also we do not set the prices, Brompton does.
Super high quality though, and fits perfectly on the bike. That’s where there’s more sense than money 😉
