- Hello everyone,
Today we bring you Denzel and his super cool Honda Civic EK. Denzel wanted to keep this hatchback as clean and original as possible, however, after an accident he decided to go a different route. Now the car is in limbo as Denzel bought a different chassis to swap parts over as he will be redoing the car. The plans for this EK is to swap every part to a new clean tittle chassis, cage it, and paint it yellow. So many cool things that are lined up for this car. I asked Denzel if we could do a before and after as I know most of you would like to see that. Thank you Denzel for making the time for us and for sharing your story. #automotiveanatomy

I respect this build. Reaching for 300 n/a building the motor up the right way . I love boost but you have to respect an N/A hatch pushing between 250-300hp.
N/A gives you a super cool response on the throtle. Cannot go wrong with a natural aspirated set up. Thanks for watching Wayne.
Hell that’s me too. Cars need fender liners. Definitely helps when you run over water or when it’s raining. The sides of the cars don’t get as dirty. Same as the engine bay stays why cleaner. Bad ass car

My dream car has always been the ITR and CTR. I had several H series swaps including in my GSR and EG. 20 years later I’m finally going to have the best of both worlds. Building a black rust free EK and going with the stock CTR look. I’m an H series fan so I’m going to give the H series the CTR treatment. Even though I had a 2.3L Wagon SiR H23A DOHC VTEC I decided to get the F20B which is a destroked H22A with iron sleeves instead of FRM. LSD trans and clean install. The hatch has the spare wheel well shaved which saves a ton of weight and the doors, and inside of the rear quarter area have also been cut up. When it’s all done it should weigh less than a CTR. Going to put the SiR-T badge on the back though since that’s what the engine came out of. I had a 99 black EM1 w/ a turbo type-r engine in it so I do have the boost bug another reason I wanted the cast iron sleeves. So some day I might do a small turbo build after I get traction control up and running. Might try to get ABS going too. Not sure yet.

And with an rbc manifold. That thing is running lean.

hi want to do this swap I have the same 96 hatchback and have a whole 07 tax but it has a automatic in it that has to go .want to do the manual what are my options on year to year six speed I need to do this and harness what ines do I need and pcm and subframe .and will the stock exhaust manifold work with the ek

K24a2 w/ prayoonto stage 4 cams make 270-280whp every time with e85. Only modification to the engine being the camshafts themselves, and valvesprings and retainers to cope with the higher duration/life. Stock valvespring will fail / lead to valve float and this can ruin the motor. Send them a message on instagram or visit their website. If you want to make 300+ you can always port the head, run a better fuel ( like m1 ), or increase bore/compression/stroke of the motor with aftermarket pistons,rods, or crankshaft. If you have any other K series questions I can help
