  • Hello everyone,
In this episode we meet Muoi who has build a great hatchback that is driven to the track, raced, and driven back to the garage. Muoi hung out with the organizers from VTEC and fell in love with the Honda game. She wanted a white hatch and she ended up finding it and shortly enough slapped B16b. She has noticed that her driving has increased over the events and will be looking to add more power in the future. Thank you Muoi for your time and the dedication to the Honda chassis. Thank you very much to the support for #automotiveanatomy

Congratulations on getting interested back in the early 00s after watching f&f like all the other posers... 😆 Watch who you're calling "kid", they might just be a factory certified master tech and build engines for a living. An LS crank (which was the only specific thing she mentioned) doesn't turn a b16 into a b18

@@AutomotiveAnatomy Always loved Honda's since my early teens, but could not afford an EG. Now I got a EJ9 (buget EK, with a 1.4 liter engine D14). Since this is my first project car, I am first turning D16 (y7 or Z6) and get acquainted with building from the ground up.
B16Bs are really hard to get here in Europe. So most likely, I will either turn the B16A2 route (commonly found) or the B18C4 (MB VTI).
I might go the H22 route, buddy of mine runs a little Honda garage and knows his way around in getting an H22; he currently has on in his Del Sol (CRX here in The Netherlands).
But before I am starting on the D16 trip, I will first have to do all kinds of maintenance and get the handeling and suspension where I want it to be. It still needs to be a daily, but most definitely will have everything street tuned.
I am still a newbie, but I love learning more and more about cars and all the possibilities, I preffer anyting Japanese and/or 70s/80s/90s and early 2000s.

I bought the car in the summer of 2018, it has a D16Y7 with 5 speed transmission. So far I did the following: RPF1 Replicas 15x7 with 205/50R15 all around, BC Racing Coilovers, and the rest of suspension components Skunk 2 front Camber, front LCAs, rear LCAs, Toe Kit, Rear Subframe brace, and Tanabe tower strut bar. Rear CTR Wing, front Spoon lip, CTR grill, rear JDM taillights. Interior has Mishamoto gear shifter, Pioneer head unit, and 330 Nardi Steering wheel...
Future plans, respray paint later this summer, silver OG color, carbon fiber hood wrap and hopefully in 2 yrs I swap to K20 motor... love what you do bro, Rayyan from Dallas, TX
