- Hello everyone,
In this episode we meet Ricky and his beautiful restored civic ek hatch. Yes, it is not 100 percent but the car has seen worse days. Ricky bought this car four years ago and has been involved in two accidents. Despite having thoughts of selling it, he has managed to rebuild the outside and engine bay. He admits he still has many plans to go but whatever he decides I am sure he will do a great job. Amazing car and even better builder. I cannot stressed enough how members from R1SK racing team have been super nice with me. Thank you all for the great hospitality and awesome vibes. Agree nothing like manageable power. You should be able to drive your car 10/10 before adding any more huevos.

Love super simple builds like this, shows you can put something together that looks sick and moves well without having to go bankrupt. Also this guys the oldest looking 23 year old I've ever seen lol.

Oem front bra. Double din skar audio 8" sub in box. Super clean car. Just needs to be resprayed black pearl again

I had an amethyst hatch as my first car. You don't realise how much you start to love them after you own one. They can be taken from you as fast as a blink of an eye. Rolled mine 4 times at 80mph. Thankfully walked away couple of cuts and scrapes. These cars are awesome. Take care of it.

@@migmogg8087 cleans up the engine bay first off, and makes the clutch bite higher up and pedal more firm, defintely an improvement and worth it

Super clean build. Have a clean DC2 all original. Drives like a champ and so much fun. How am i just only now hearing about this S2000 clutch master. Going to this ASAP.

Dam b20v !! Smh based on the run footage i thought it was Dseries d15/y8 or a d16y8 but b20v somethings off with it then, possibly cams not degreed or ignition timing off but it seems sluggish on the 1-2-3 shifts i got a 4door gsr with just I.H.E stock p72 ecu no chip or anything and is has alot more acceleration than that, especially 1-2 shift on 205/50/15 toyo Ra1's are decently soft compound and they spin 1-2 and chirp 3rd and its basically stock being bolt ons to me isnt anything serious, but very nice ride very clean and simple 😉

Jeeze bought my ek hatch 2020 4 only 200cad!!! ye its bone stock d16y7, ye its 5speed manual, ye its drum rears but i got all the maintenance parts rn and i got all the time i need to finish it..for CHEAP too.
What makes it fun is that its a light car.

Makes me think of my old '88 HF w/B16 about 2005. It was a clean CRX, one owner, white on '99 si wheels. Then it happened, I got gapped on the freeway going across the bridge into Portland by a VR6 from 70-140+......I couldn't believe it. I was so sad. I sold the CRX in 2010 and now I wish I kept it. Love my boosted VW now but honda's are fun!!!!
