Koopa Kid isn't actually the same as Bowser Jr hehe XD and there's been duel minigames since before this o: Mario party 2 had them but only a few; one for each board, mario party 3 had lots but i don't know about 4 :3

I've only played Mario Party 6 once over a year ago so I have no idea. And are you sure about Mario Party 2? I own the game and I don't recall any duel mini games in MP2. I never played Mario Party 3 though.
Isn't there a part of Mario Party 6 when Bowser crushes Koopa Kid (in solo mode only) he will apologise or dis I think wrong? Haven't played 6 in years.
Oh and it was actually Mario Party 2 that introduce duel mini games. They were also in 3.
My complaint is that DK is no longer playable

I don't think Mario Party 4 boards are that well-designed. They're all linear with no curves and convoluted routes whatsoever

I don't like MP5, and it's because of the way capsules are handled. 1. Capsule machines are all over the board and because capsules are free there's no reason to decline as you pass one. In previous games you might forgo a item (capsule) due to being broke or not wanting to risk spending the coins at the moment. This means that too much time in MP5 is spent watching everyone recieve capsules. 2. There is no incentive to throw capsules that have negative effects (Mr. Blizzard, Hammer Bros, etc) onto the board. They are just as likely to harm you as anyone else (actually more likely you because you are forced to throw them in front of you) and you're likely to pass by them multiple times throughout the 20 turns. Positive items like the super mushroom only make sense to use on yourself but are also throw-able, which the CPUs will do frequently for no good reason. The Koopa Bank capsule makes the least sense as an item because someone has to throw it on the board for somone to eventually benefit from it... by using a Bank capsule on themselves. Why would you ever throw this item in front of you to tax yourself 5 coins to then allow another player use their Bank capsule on themselves to collect those coins? Overall the capsule system in MP5 just works to make the game chaotic and nullifies minigame victories by constantly robbing players of coins at random as they land on afflicting spaces thrown down by everyone. MP6's capsule mechanics completely fix these grievances by bringing the shops back, making capsule spaces have ownership, allowing players to throw capsules forward or behind, and not punishing players when they land on their own spaces.
I didn't expect a comment this fast. lol. I have never heard of '13' until now. I looked it up a bit just now. I still have a list of games that I plan to review and those are my priorities. So I can't promise that I will review '13'. But anything's possible.

car1it0sWAY 4 was the best for the gamecube and the most enjoyable. After Mario Party 4 the series just lost it's charm in my opinion. I think MP 2,3 and 4 are the three best versions of the whole series.
+Joseph Garcia 1 is a good Mario Party but it's not as good as 2 and 3 that's just my opinion though.

+car1it0sWAY MP4 all the way. It has much better mini games and bord rules. In MP5 the screwed it by giving it something new. It was just not the same experience as in MP4
