Probably just because I have countless hours in my GameCube, but I absolutely LOVED 6. My siblings and I played so many 50 round games 😂 being able to booby trap spots was cool. The day and night challenge was a nice change too. Definitely my favorite Mario party by far
My best friend Pablo and I would play this game with mi Abuela all the time, even when we all moved to the United States from the Dominican Republic when I was 12, we brought our old used GC we got from two American tourists as a gift when I was 4, because this game and Smash Melee have brought us all so much joy. Sadly I lost my Abuela at the age of 79 due to covid-19 in March, but we all remember how she always loved to play Faire Square and Castaway Bay, which were her favorite MP boards. We also had MP4, which we also got from that amazing couple from Indiana. Now when I play this game, I remember myself, mi Abuela, Pablo and my older sister Jennifer sitting around our TV playing Mario Party 6's Faire Square or Castaway Bay. After we moved to North Carolina, and brought Pablo with us, the tradition continued, only with a big bowl of popcorn added to the mix, and Pablo and Abuela having most of it while Jen and I drank much of the soda. They say that Mario Party breaks friendships, but Mario Party 6 helped bring different generations of my family closer together both when we live din the Dominican Republic and after we moved to the United States. Mi Abuela was 59 years older than me, being born in 1942 while Jen was born in 1997 and Pablo and I were born in 2001 I'll always be grateful for those American tourists from Indiana, Heather and Andy for giving our family their extra gamecube and copies of Mario Party 4, Mario Party 6, SSB Melee and Luigi's mansion when I was just 4 years old in 2005. Because of them, we found something that gave us so many good times and brought us closer to Abuela, especially after Abuelo died in 2007, our game nights helped make Abuela feel much less lonely, and I thank that couple for giving us the tools to do it. R.I.P. dear Abuela. Te amo abuela
It's really cool that it was able to bring you all closer together, & I'm sorry for your loss (f---ing COVID). My 2 favorite boards are Faire Square (especially when you only have to pay 5 coins per star) & Snowflake Lake
Nice. I got this and a few other games in the series because I want to review more of the series’ classics before we get Mario Party Super Stars in the Fall
@@ElNintendoReviewer yeah I'm going to try and pick up mario party 4 and 5 as there much cheaper than mario party 7 plus could you do a review on Mario Sports Mix if u can it's been a game I wanted to get for some time now

4:45 finally someone who admits not all the minigames in this game are great. Most people give Mario Party 6 praise despite some weaker minigames
My sister and I rented Mario Party 6 gamecube game at blockbuster when we were teenagers.

Looks terrible when you stretch the 4:3 aspect ratio to 16:9 like it has been in this video. Not doing the game any favours.
