I had the craziest trip, I took over 400ug of LSD equivalent to almost 2 full tabs at once. It was my first time, I didn’t know what I was doing. I did alone in a room that was dark. About 2 hours in, in my mind I was being buried alive with jinns all around me. I was screaming for help, there was a light that calmed me down every few minutes and in my mind Allah was disappointed in me. My friends came to my apartment after hearing me screaming, some of them look like jinns and wallahi when I tell you guys the Muslim ones looked normal. That was probably the worst day of my life, I started making dumb decisions after that. For a few years my life was going downhill, alhumdillah years after everything is normal. But that trip was so real in my mind, everything I was seeing was real. The spiritual world is real and these drugs are not made for us Muslims. We will see nothing but darkness

It is evidence for lack knowledge calling or assuming that everything you Muslims don't understand (experience with other dimensions ot other issues) to call it somehow the Jinns. Only Muslims who have no knowledge about this topic do it. Non-Muslims have much more knowledge about it in their books. Would you know what kind of stuff there is out there which Muslims (Islam does not give) don't have, you really would be ashamed and shut up yourself. And whatever Muslims can not understand or what isn't mentioned in their religion, they assume it to have sometjing to do with the Jinns. The strange thing is they are 100 % confident to be right. ☺ It's all evidence for having not this kind of knowledge.

At 4:22 he says he "didn't know who he was" and "who am I? " what he's describing is Ego death and his ego was fighting against(bad idea) instead of letting go(meditation helps). This literally happens to almost every who is unprepared or inexperienced with high dose psychedelics at the start. Some psilocybin mushrooms basically induce chemically induced mysticism, Islam actually talks about this experience in sufism=Islamic mysticism, the desolving of one's "nafs" self/ego, into an expanded state of consciousness in which one becomes one and the same with Allah/god/absolute reality/oneeness/universe. In the East (buddhist/monks/yogis) achieve this state through deep meditation. Meditation and psilocybin mushrooms produce the samelike experience as both effect the brain in a similar way. They can take your consciousness to heavenly realms or hellish, alot of that is on the individual, set and setting.
For anyone interested when it comes to psychedelics terrence mckenna, Dennis mckenna, Graham hancock, Paul stemets, are the major guys to listen to.

One thing I've learned from psychedelics is there's no such thing as a bad trip some people can't control themselves when the trip gets uncomfortable it's like they have no self control they run off emotion they get uncomfortable for one second and they start freaking out seeing things from a logical perspective and a psychological perspective gives everything in that trip meaning even when I felt uncomfortable in a trip it was always because I was receiving some type of information that made me uncomfortable but was showing me the truth about myself like me being a bad person to my mother and myself during that time I was depressed and the trip made me realize why I had no ambition I didn't take care of myself I was always doing things for a dopamine rush realizing I was a shitty person made me a better one I think people with high egos are always the ones who crash in a psychedelic trip the crushing and death of their ego makes them feel like their dying and want that trip to end but that's the most beautiful part of the psychedelic experience I always say God didn't make mistakes so why would he make psychedelic mushrooms psychedelics connect our brains like no other substance out there I feel like the thought of God not making any mistakes cancels any negative notion behind natural psychedelics at the end of the day doing things that make us uncomfortable is what makes us better people and being in a comfortable state makes us lazy and weak minded if all you can thing about when your having a bad trip is mushrooms bad ahh this is demons attacking me I don't like this I want it to stop then maybe you just didn't get the message at the end of the day God tested his strongest followers with diseases and the loss of their children and wealth we don't consider that a bad thing so why would psychedelics be bad just because you didn't like the experience

So many parallels between spiritual teachings of Jesus, and Mohammed line up with things I experienced on entheogens. It's definitely not for everyone and not at all times. LSD saved me once by bringing me to God. If I had never tried it, still I could come to God differently. However, that's how it happened and I don't regret, because this was the first spiritual experience that I had, where I did not feel alone. Everything I understood that day so far doesn't contradict my beliefs to this day. I was also blessed with light-hearted people on that trip.
As for the bad trips - as far as I understand, it's the same as any of God's punishments. If we need to face that, we will face that. If you think logically, only a person who has a heavy heart will see a bad trip. It's all out there, the prism through which you choose to look is what makes the difference.
It's all about our will. On LSD you can imagine any feeling you want and turn it real. I imagined a terrible toothache and then "cured" it with help of friends calming me down. If you drag yourself into a bad trip, it's your own decision. To get out of it is also your own decision. That's just how I see it, I might bee deeply mistaken, time and God will show me the truth I hope.

Psychedelics were here thousands, maybe even millions of years (mushrooms, and so on)
The idea of the abrahamitic gods came much later. The first religions were nature-religions. My opinion is that eating mushrooms when you were on hunt for food as a hunter and gatherer and having those profound experiences is the most naturally thing I can imagine it is not far away that the idea of having these expieriences is connected with the creation of religion, because you are literally loosing your ego for a short time - you feel the unity of everything and the expansion of conciousness (it is hard for me to describe it the way I want since english is not my native lang.).
With DMT people are having similar experiences - They realize that everything is connected together, that we are all one and theres no differences between any of us no matter of your skin colour neither your believes.
It is not far away that the idea of having these expieriences is connected with the creation of religion, because you are literally loosing your ego for a short time - you feel the unity of everything and the expansion of conciousness.
Sadly later religions were used as a tool to control people - I mean what is reason behind a godly religion that does not unite every human on earth, indipendet on what they believe?

In its root and branches is a secret, and in its seed is healing from seventy-two illnesses. So treat yourselves with it and with frankincense.”’

It depends on what you're doing here on earth that's not keeping your spirit at peace(as abaove so below) . You my friend are being spiritually attacked by the enemy . You must go back and close that gate . Return whatever you brought pray over them before taking them and repent
. It's temporary. Allah will forgive you, if you truly do it feom the heart ,just return what doesn't belong to you and stop feeding into that spirit in this realm , negative Music feeds it, television , food , thoughts and actions . Change all that and watch your life change .

But yet no one is talking about the fact DMT is a natural occurring substance in the human body. This is such a superficial and one dimensional response to psychedelics. Whoever this guy is, he took this as a recreational drug, got scared and came back to preach on a podcast about the rudimentary lessons he took from his fear response.
    Some points to note:
    1) The most powerful psychedelic we know of (DMT) is endogenous, meaning whatever created us, placed it within our biology, and it regularly passes the blood brain barrier. If people are professing to have had profound life changing experiences on it, then questions need to be asked as to why it is in our bodies and what it's purpose is.
    2) Psychedelics have a long history within religious cultures on every continent. This is not an insignificant point, and requires further study to understand their importance within our religious history.
    3) There are strong commonalities between high level psychedelic experiences. Not only this but these descriptions are often in unison with mystical experiences described by prophets, sages and mystics throughout history. As our body creates a psychedelic, could the origin of religious experiences and consequently all religious culture, come from the same source?
These are questions for the spiritually open minded intellectual, not the dogmatically obtuse, or hedonic drug user.

Not all of us go in the fifth dimension. Your choosing to listen to your voice that got paranoid. The reason why surah Rahman helped you was because your soul was troubled. And it’s a Surah that provides Allahs rahmat. I can help you, but you need to be brave. First have faith in Allah. He’s given you half a ten thousand duas. Among them are many for protection. You see Quranic speech itself is magic, but I don’t think truly believe in its power. Second you need to pay Salah like you’re taking to creator of the 7 heavens. The master of the Arsh. But I understand. You’re young. Your dealing with your desires. Your worldly motives are giving you anxiety in my opinion. If you want my advice for what’s good for your health. Start with fasting every Monday and Thursday. And off every 13, 14, 15th of every month of the Islamic calendar. And I also suggest to do Taha Judd as often as you can. Be in wudu as much as you can. Read Quran as much as you can. But seek knowledge don’t pick lame cheap arguments that can easily be deconstructed. Pick bigger arguments like understand you your clear enemy is. What is he upto what is his goal. How easily he is able to reach you and whisper to you.

You should never take psychedelics unless you're trained properly, and know how to navigate the metaphysical without them. There is a legal dispensation that allows for the use of psychedelics, but its very rare and obviously a minority opinion, but more so because of how dangerous psychedelics can be. The conditions are also very rigorous, like you need years of training in meditation, in tazkiyyah, and actually not only becoming aware of the devil inside you, what we know as the qareen, but you know how to battle it. If you're a Muslim and you're reading this, it's very likely you don't have the training for it to use it properly. Unless you're someone who has meditated 4-8 hours a day for a period of time, perhaps a few months to a few years, you are likely not proficient enough to navigate it in the way that leads to realization. Can you still have a positive experience? Yes, and I would be lying if I said otherwise. There are accounts and studies that demonstrate this, but there are a lot of other conditions that are required that you may not know of that they had, such as the presence of a guide, or certain innate potential, or just luck.
The whispers you're talking about, that's a very real phenomena that's experienced universally, both today and in the past. You find it in all religious literature. The whispers are of course the jinn who waswasa, it is no coincidence that the Qur'an describes them as those who whisper and this is in fact what people, including non-Muslims, experience and see. They basically implant ideas or thoughts in your head, and if you lack an appreciable level of basira, then you will not be able to distinguish between your own inner voice and theirs. When you confuse their voice for yours, then you confuse their ideas with your own, then it becomes implanted in the heart. The jinn hijacked man's intellect in order to have power and modality in this world. When the brother said that when you return to normal consciousness and you're never the same, that is largely why.
There's a lot of people who experience these whispers, in contemporary psychonaut circles they're often called goblins or machine elves. They whisper "you are God", all the while mocking and laughing in the background. A good example of this is Leo Gura, a youtube celebrity guru, another person who has fallen victim to believing he is God. I've seen the qareen within me during a meditative state. I have taken cannabis after years of training, there are things I've seen that had a very positive influence in ways I can't describe, but can not share with anyone.
Cannabis is not a psychedelic, nor is it an intoxicant. It's a stimulant, and it works by stimulating the cannibinoid receptors in the brain. However, because of where they are located in the brain, they can trigger a fear response. But, it also depends on the strain. If you smoke an indica strain, you won't get that paranoia effect, instead you get a body high. It was this type of strain that Muslims in parts of North Africa and the middle east smoked in the past that gave them the reputation of being lazy. But a sativa strain is known to give you anxiety because of how it interacts with the receptors. That being said, it also depends on your own psychological makeup and state. If you're a paranoid sort of person, you're insecure, you have worries, you have a weak edifice of belief in you, then you'll likely succumb to the paranoia.
Part of that is because it becomes easier to trace a thought back to its root or origin, so for instance, if you trace the line of thought within you about belief in the hereafter, what lies behind it? What is it based on? How do you know it's true? Is there an actual reality within you upon which your purported belief in the hereafter relies on? See, in that sense, it can be both very dangerous because it reveals the state of your belief to you, and what you will likely find is that it's largely empty. A lot of people become nihilistic as a result of what they see inside themselves. It didn't lead you to disbelief, it was already there for the most part. But if you decide to abandon striving for belief, believing that Islam and religion is ultimately empty, that's your choice to make. A substance like cannabis merely exposes you to all of this, and the waswasa from the jinn can influence what you decide to conclude. But on the other hand it gives you an opportunity to go beyond your current level, to be honest with yourself, and do what it takes to cultivate an actual and proper belief. But that's why it's a test. You take it as a test, and you confront the paranoia with tawakallah, and if you can overcome the anxiety through the remembrance of God, then you will turn a weak belief into something stronger because you now have experiential knowledge of its reality, of it being true. You should be able to do that without any substance, but since much of Islamic practice has become superficialized with the destruction of its spiritual civilization, most Muslims do not even do the bare minimum.
It should also be noted that, traditionally, a demonic experience is characterized by an open and expansive experience followed by a constriction, and an angelic one is the opposite. A lot of people have demonic experiences in that sense, and you can read about people's accounts of bad trips that very much so resemble demonic attacks.
A lot of people will be upset that I have mentioned some positive things about cannabis. That is because I am being honest about it. If I were to only say negative things, it would be dishonest, and to any non-Muslim that knows the topic will, such posts will appear as both amateurish and laughable. Muslims need to be realistic about everything, including the things they are not very comfortable with. That all being said, this is not an endorsement. I cannot say that it is permissible, and never stated it was. All I am describing is the reality behind it. There are a lot of health benefits to cannabis, such as in terms of neurogenesis and basically helping to maintain its plasticity, and for some people it can increase their memory and focus. But it can also have a detrimental effect in terms of numbing your dopamine receptors, which means over time its harder for you to feel happy without it. It can make you more anxious over time as a default state, which in turn is associated with an inability to concentrate or remember things in the short term. That's very dangerous and can lead to depression. Recreational use, in that sense, is not a good thing. The culture of cannabis, by default, encourages its abuse because it doesn't realize that it can be abused. The benefits of cannabis come from a very careful and precise use of it, I've seen people overcome their anxiety and depression through it.
Muslim scholars need to gain an overall better understanding of cannabis to derive rulings around it. So far all the rulings I've seen are both outdated, often based on medieval assumptions, and just scientifically inaccurate. I would refrain from using terms like halal and haram until there is clear consensus based on competent rulings. The rulings we have today often rely on categorizing it as an intoxicant, but that is incorrect. You don't lose your inhibitions, you don't become intoxicated, if anything it's the opposite. Much like coffee, which was once considered haram, it's more of a stimulant. The problem with cannabis though is that it can easily be abused, if you have deep emotional problems it can become a source of addiction, and if you have underlying genetic potential for mental illness, it can exacerbate it like the brother in the video said. I think that we also cannot ignore the fact that it has been considered a medicine in most pre-modern native traditions, and also carries a lot of sacred significance as well. It can be argued that the negative effects associated with it today are due to people not respecting it and desacralizing it.
The pros and cons are certainly there. Overall I would not encourage anyone to use it, and this is largely because of the type of culture and society we live in today. We are living in a hyper-stimulating environment that is meant to lower your consciousness into the egoic-realm, there has been a loss of metaphysics and spiritual intuition, there is disconnection from nature, there is pre-occupation with dunya and the desire for accumulation. These are all features of even the average practicing Muslim, where Islam is no longer a spiritual tradition but a mere outward identity without true substance. But I also don't want to be hyperbolic about its effects. For most people it just relaxes them and clears the mind from mental chatter, and increases concentration. A lot of what you experience is dependent on the dosage and concentration as well. Cannabis, again, is not a psychedelic. The only reason you can have a psychedelic like experience is because your mind already naturally produces DMT, which means that you don't need substances to have a psychedelic experience, but because cannabis can increase one's level of concentration, if one is trained in meditation, they can access deeper levels of consciousness. From what I have read, only about 1% experience that.

You sound so arrogant. Whatever you experienced "positively" or negatively in your spirituality while taking haram substances, keep it quite. You are making the work for Satan. Some may think they are devoted enough to go on the trip and experience Allah through these ways. Are you really ready to face the consequences of such encouragement?
