i am myself a muslim, who has had experiences with psychedelics,
There was not a single time i tried DMT or Mushrooms and heard voices or seen things un imaginable. My experiences were lets say a trip into my self concious, my ego, literally a chance to learn about how my brain really worked in every way and the rights and wrongs became far more obvious to me, to the point wrong doings started to genuienly feel scary to do...
I feel like this topic needs to be dwelled into further by our modern day scholars as not only is this an extremely interesting topic, it has also caused extreme contraversy and hedaches due to its diverse uses and explanations....
Please anyone of knowledge reading this help me and others who need it understand the truth behind these substances, through thorough research on indivuduals who have properly been there and done that and is a current practicing muslim...
I know a few people who say psychedelics were there guidance to Allah and islam.

I wouldve agree years back, but maybe thats the whole point of life? Instead of taking a shortcut, u go through ur life a test n learn n improve as u go? Itll never be the same as going through something that teaches u a lesson, rather than doing lsd n learning that lesson.. the few benefits are outweighed… i just wanted to counter ur reason cuz everybody says that we should use it to go deep within ourselves n learn about ourselves.. we can do that sober right? Itll just be harder? At the end which way do u think teaches u more? The harder one with no shortcut

Salaams, it would be interesting to understand how that happened. Each time I have taken it, I couldn't do any dhikr or see any Qur'an or name of Allah swt.. I tried to connect with angels and with the Holy Prophet saww and I couldn't for the first half.
I'm now been exhausted and angry for a week after and struggling to pray salaat and do dhikr.
So I'm wondering what happened... I was working with a ceremony and with trained shaman healers because I need to remove dark magic etc.
So it would be interesting to have a chat with this soul.
Also, the way this is presented is incorrect. They're too arrogant and forceful and then the presupposition that we're not meant to have intuition and psychic gifts is a LIE

I'm struggling to understand why this is the case if all medicine comes from Allah swt
I think I caught a few jinns who are hiding.
The way this is presented is not gentle or humble so I hate the presentation and the energy behind it.
Also, there's a presupposition that we aren't meant to see the unseen realms.

      @TheOusset123465 6 месяцев назад

@@MrZERK7 There is nothing in the Quran that specifically mentions mushrooms being haram. It only addresses khamr (wine). Even if we consider toxicity, caffeine should be deemed haram as it is more toxic and deadly than psilocybin, the main psychoactive compound in certain mushrooms. Psilocybin has demonstrated healing properties and has helped many people suffering from depression and other mental health issues. It is not a "fun drug" but rather a medicine, and it does not have addictive properties. One can use it once and never feel compelled to use it again.
It's important to remember that mushrooms are fungi, and fungi are ubiquitous, even in the air we breathe. With industrialization, most of our food is processed and filled with GMOs, disconnecting us from nature. Our ancestors consumed naturally fermented bread and unprocessed milk, which contained various forms of fungi in microdoses that we no longer get today.
While it's not something to recommend indiscriminately, for those with severe depression, it might be a preferable alternative to prescription drugs, which can be addictive and harmful. However, it's crucial to note that in many countries, these substances are illegal. This illegality often means that quality control is lacking, and most bad experiences are related to poor-quality mushrooms or species with little to no psilocybin content or are mixed with something else. If one is determined to try it, the best species are blue meanies and blue angels.
The mindset before consumption, one's intentions, and the setting are also crucial factors. For instance, using it on a sunny day while sitting in nature and reciting the Quran can provide a protective spiritual experience, reducing the likelihood of negative influences.
Personally, I've used it twice in very small doses (around 2.5 to 3.5 grams), and it made me realize I was blinded by worldly pursuits when I should have been grateful for what I have and the beautiful gift of life that Allah gave us. The visuals I experienced were similar to the patterns and mosaics seen in mosques, almost as if those who created this art were inspired by it. I was completely functional under its effect, just thinking differently. It's not like how movies portray it unless you take an unhealthy amount. Moderation is key, as even drinking water can be deadly in large quantities. The brother in the podcast who shared his experience likely wasn't mentally ready and probably took too much for a first time. Just like when you pray, you need to praise Allah the whole time and be in a clean environment, either by yourself or with people you love and trust.
Coming from a strict household where I was forced to pray without a deep understanding of its true meaning and importance, I had distanced myself from faith. Now, thanks to this experience, I'm healing and fixing bad habits to become a better person. Inshallah, I will be guided to the right path.
We need to be smart and logical and do in dept research, not make claims that it is a sin without being certain. At the end of the day, Allahu a'lam (Allah knows best). My brothers and sisters, constantly remind yourselves of Allah's greatness, kindness, and forgiveness. May Allah make it easy for all of us, especially our brothers and sisters in Gaza, and may He guide us all to heaven.

During a psychedelic trip, if a person's intentions are efficacious, and you are in the constant remembrance of Allah, the psychedelic trip will customarily go well for that individual, and keep in mind, at this point the "entities" can't get into to your mind, since your mind is fully occupied in the remembrance of Allah. Having said that , majority of the people who experience bad DMT & psychedelic trips, conventionally don't experience a good trip, and see mortify visions unintentionally, that is because they are not in the constant remembrance of Allah, and also in the wrong setting at the wrong time, which boggles up negativity in the conscious mind, and further limit information going through the visual cortex. In the remembrance of Allah at the time when the subconscious, and conscious mind are join together = Good trips = Good visions, otherwise Bad trips = bad visions. However if you have Islam & Iman, you don't need substances, and prescriptions. Allah is your guide.

Salaams brother/sister .. this would be true had it not been the case that the last three times with DMT I've not even been able to do dhikr or see Allah's name when in the medicine. It stops me entirely until half way after I purge, then i was able to recite surahs and salawaat again.
Now I'm tired, and unable to focus on my life so am wondering if I've picked up jinn and will need to clear them.
It's difficult to know when I can't see them myself. I can feel them, but if they're inside then it's difficult to differentiate or make them leave sometimes.
Having said that, I am still praying salaat and listening to Qur'an, but it's very difficult and not with the ease that I used to be able to do it.

Let me share to you guys a very scary experience that made me stop doing psychedelics for good and in sha allah spread awareness with this experience of mine.
Of course I understand psychedelics can help certain people with ptsd, mental issues etc but me and my friends were young but ( of age ) and did psychedelics to experience what it was like. I did mushrooms and acid a few times. I was not as practising during this time of my life but i grew up a practicing muslim. The first couple of experiences with acid and mushrooms was honestly insane and literally out of this world i could not believe what i was seeing for example seeing my blanket literally breathing and genuinely was a living creature it was ALIVE or seeing myself from a third person pov was insane its very hard to describe a psychedelic experience anyways my last and forever will be my last psychedelic experience was on acid. There were 3 of us doing it. Half way into the acid trip was all fun and games until my friend started to have a psychosis. I still remember when i looked into his eyes and knew straight away this person i was looking at was not my friend beside me but someone else and instantly i knew he was possessed. He did not blink once and had a very expressionless face. Me and my friend tried to stay calm but we were unbelievably scared especially since we were also peaking on acid. My friend that was possessed was aggressively throwing my pet cat across the room, he lost his sense of self and awareness and almost ran out the house until i grabbed him and made sure he stay put. He started taking his clothes off until we stopped him, he swore at us aggressively and honestly it felt like there was a crazy man in the room with us. We did not recognise this friend of ours. He lost his sense of time, identity, morals everything! Basically a blank state mentally.
If you’ve done psychedelics you know what i mean. Aka ego death.
He then took his pants off and urinated into his mouth. We were so scared. We didn’t know what to do since we were also tripping. Me and my other friend were praying to allah making dua in this moment trembling out of fear since there was a literal crazy person in the room with us and we had no choice but to wait it out for 5-6 hours since acid takes a while to ware off, by the end of this trip we parted ways from this person and haven’t seen him since. We were traumatised and couldn’t see him the same way. We did speak before parting ways and out of his own dignity we did not tell him everything that happened. He’s doing good though and he has no recollection of what happened that night. Never did drugs since then and pulled up.

I wasn't a Christian back then infact, I was lost as we all are born lost not into a religion. Today I am Born Again, I was lost but now I have been found.
Only the Name of Jesus will release a Demons.
Demons were scared of Jesus when he walked on earth 2,000 years ago. They were afraid Jesus was going to judge them early before the day of Judgement, as the book of James says:
You believe that there is one God. You do well. Even the demons believe-and tremble!
      James 2:19 NKJV
Here is some stories from the bible:
And when he [Jesus] came to the other side, to the country of the Gadarenes, two demon-possessed men met him, coming out of the tombs, so fierce that no one could pass that way. And behold, they cried out, “ _What have you to do with us, O Son of God? Have you come here to torment us before the time?_ ” Now a herd of many pigs was feeding at some distance from them. And the demons begged him, saying, “ _If you cast us out, send us away into the herd of pigs._ ” And he [Jesus] said to them, “ _Go._ ” So they came out and went into the pigs, and behold, the whole herd rushed down the steep bank into the sea and drowned in the waters. The herdsmen fled, and going into the city they told everything, especially what had happened to the demon-possessed men.
      Matthew 8:28‭-‬33 ESV
They came to the other side of the sea, to the country of the Gerasenes. And when Jesus had stepped out of the boat, immediately there met him out of the tombs a man with an unclean spirit. He lived among the tombs. And no one could bind him anymore, not even with a chain, for he had often been bound with shackles and chains, but he wrenched the chains apart, and he broke the shackles in pieces. No one had the strength to subdue him. Night and day among the tombs and on the mountains he was always crying out and cutting himself with stones. And when he saw Jesus from afar, he ran and fell down before him. And crying out with a loud voice, he said, “What have you to do with me, Jesus, Son of the Most High God? I adjure you by God, do not torment me.” For he was saying to him, “Come out of the man, you unclean spirit!” And Jesus asked him, “What is your name?” He replied, “My name is Legion, for we are many.” And he begged him earnestly not to send them out of the country. Now a great herd of pigs was feeding there on the hillside, and they begged him, saying, “Send us to the pigs; let us enter them.” So he gave them permission. And the unclean spirits came out and entered the pigs; and the herd, numbering about two thousand, rushed down the steep bank into the sea and drowned in the sea. The herdsmen fled and told it in the city and in the country. And people came to see what it was that had happened. And they came to Jesus and saw the demon-possessed man, the one who had had the legion, sitting there, clothed and in his right mind, and they were afraid. And those who had seen it described to them what had happened to the demon-possessed man and to the pigs. And they began to beg Jesus to depart from their region. As he was getting into the boat, the man who had been possessed with demons begged him that he might be with him. And he did not permit him but said to him, “Go home to your friends and tell them how much the Lord has done for you, and how he has had mercy on you.” And he went away and began to proclaim in the Decapolis how much Jesus had done for him, and everyone marveled.
      Mark 5:1‭-‬20 ESV
And they went into Capernaum, and immediately on the Sabbath he entered the synagogue and was teaching. And they were astonished at his teaching, for he taught them as one who had authority, and not as the scribes. And immediately there was in their synagogue a man with an unclean spirit. And he cried out, “What have you to do with us, Jesus of Nazareth? Have you come to destroy us? I know who you are-the Holy One of God.” But Jesus rebuked him, saying, “Be silent, and come out of him!” And the unclean spirit, convulsing him and crying out with a loud voice, came out of him. And they were all amazed, so that they questioned among themselves, saying, “What is this? A new teaching with authority! He commands even the unclean spirits, and they obey him.” And at once his fame spread everywhere throughout all the surrounding region of Galilee.

The class of drugs that the general public refers to as “psychedelics” is being studied extensively for medical use, and has shown promising findings for its use in treating severe/resistant forms of mental disease. Obviously when it is a medicine, it will have the brand name, dosing guidelines and well defined side effects to monitor for.
I think people should just be fully informed. Never self-experiment with any drug, psychoactive or not psychoactive.
I just don’t like singling out a certain class of drugs, as public stigma slows down the funding for research in medical drug development. Has already happened a number of times in the past due to propaganda.

This is amazing, this man just described my experience to a T. Not a big smoker, took one hit of a synthetic MJ pen, and within minutes I was hallucinating, lost all control of my thoughts, felt there was something evil controlling me, my mind was stuck in an infinite loop like a bad Black Mirror episode.
The scariest thing was that this entity whether it was just the weed or an actual Jinn, was trying to convince me that Allah wasn't real and life was just a simulation. As hard as one part of my brain tried to fight these thoughts, I couldn't fight it...I was powerless. It was trying to convince me that everything I knew about the world, and everything that Islam taught me was false. It was trying to convince me that this was my hell, my punishment, for believing in the wrong religion.
The only thing that calmed me down was saying the shahada and audhubillah (I could literally feel my heart rate slow down when I recited those words), which somehow would ground me back to reality if only for a few seconds before the thoughts would start again. This whole experience continued for 3 hours (which felt like 30 years), and then I came back to reality. Scariest sh*t I've ever experienced.

And people get seriously changed after that experience. Starting to talk the world is not real and that nothing exists. And that you are a God itself.
Still they talking about love, etc.
We can see clearly this on Pavel Dmitriev with his religion, which encourages to establish different sorts of contracts with daemons.
Other people I know, under the impact of mushrooms and LCD, etc.. keep telling that the world is a hallucination and daemons and other stuff also doesn't exist.
      Etc etc.
Though hippies seems to be harmless and with somewhat relaxed views, shining with love, etc.
I never met any hippie in my life so I can't tell whether there is something evil coming from them....
And one more thing I noticed, once they've experienced this they tend to imply their conception to other people, sometimes eveng in a form of aggressive propaganda...

But not when ever you want to. Educate about them in depth and go by Islamic rulings. Biggest addiction are from prescriptions. There is nothing in the Quran that specifically mentions mushrooms being haram.
We need to be smart and logical and do in dept research, not making claims that it's haram without being certain.

Without commenting on the content of this video, I would like to share this info with you all. Anything that takes you out of your senses is not allowed in Islam. May Allah SWT ease the way for everyone to get out of this stuff. From Marijuana to Psychs to Alcohol to hard drugs. Everything has their own set of problems. The rule here is, if you go out your senses, you stay away from it. And by you I don't mean you (cause people build tolerance as well), I mean people in general.
So if a person doesn't get dizzy after 2 drinks, that doesn't mean that 2 drinks are halal for him / her. Same is the case with EVERY SINGLE DRUG.
Moreover, in medical the ruilings change slightly and scholars have given ruilings from Quran and Sunnah on that as well. But that doesn't give us a right to make halal what's not halal for us.
If you're having hard time leaving anything, just keep praying to Allah SWT along with a constant effort and you'll see yourself out of it sooner than you think.
A lots of comments on this post ARE PLANTED. So beaware.
May Allah SWT guide us all. Ameen.

Most psychedelics are only considered ‘intoxicants’ because of the social stigma of it. Mushrooms especially can indeed alter your perception, but not in the way alcohol or other substances do, instead it actually makes you focus BETTER. If you have the intention to become a better person, I don’t see a problem. It doesn’t physically harm you but instead is actually good for brain health plus it isn’t addictive at all. However, if you have the intention of doing it just for ‘fun’ or treating it the same way as drinking alcohol or smoking weed, not only will the experience change but will also be considered haram as you have bad intentions. But again I am no scholar

I don't really mess with psychedelics. I tried shrooms once and never again. I'll stick with just using marijuana. Being high and tripping are 2 different things. Plus, I don't just go crazy with THC. I only do between 5 and 10 mg in edibles. This guy doesn't know the number 1 rule when taking hallucinogenics "It's all in your head, and it will end.". And screw him for saying if a person uses drugs like psilocybin or cannabis makes them not Muslim.

Marijuana is for weak minded people, unless it's absolutely needed for medical reasons, but just for fun? Stop kidding yourself buddy

Where did he say you’re not a muslim if u did drugs before? As muslims we’re not allowed any intoxicants, its a sin, but not an unforgivable sin

@@bigfarma1388 It was when he said "Who uses this, Those who are not muslim.". Muslims don't really know the differance between intoxicant, psychoactive, and pychedilic substances, They are 3 differant things in terms of how they effect the brain and they all can't just be treated like alcohol. I'd think Muslims would understand that it is not ok to group all things into one group because of what some do. Opioids are intoxicating but are used by Muslim doctors to treat people. Same with cannabis, it has medical uses too. Is a car the same as a spaceship? They both a vehicles.

Moreover, in medical the ruilings change slightly and scholars have given ruilings from Quran and Sunnah on that as well. But that doesn't give us a right to make halal what's not halal for us.
May Allah SWT guide us all. Ameen.

@HelloAli.PK92 That's where things fall into a gray area with me. Mine is actually medical marijuana that is being used to treat migraine headaches and neuropathic pain. Like how drugs like opioids are used in hospitals to help treat and stop severe pain. Some of the strongest medications have intoxicating or psychoactive effects on the mind because of how they work.

This is horrible advice. Please watch helpful videosnthat teach what a bad trip can teach someone. He obviously took too much and wasnt in a safe space with someone. I was muslim for 28 years and i microdose shrooms a few times a week. Theres a difference between microdosing and taking a larger dose like this guy did who is fear-mongering and trying to be relevant because psychedelics are main stream. I encourage ppl try it in small doses. Its like taking an anti anxiety pill. If you can take a Lexapro, you can take a microdose capsule.

LSD and mushrooms completely changed my whole outlook on life. I became a better version of myself
This experience gave me a lot of confidence about my self and my body. A bunch of bad thought / behavior patterns were broken. One of these was pretty bad OCD that made me wash my hands a lot. It gave me a lot of hope that things will be fine, this is the one thing that I heard throughout the trip: Everything is alright. The main reason for the trip was my severe depression and it definitely helped me (although it's not gone). Before all I could do was lay in bed. Now I am trying to rebuild my life one step at a time which wasn't possible before."
