Thanks to Allah for showing me the right path and thanks to the video that confirmed that I was doing the right thing and was searching for the truth with a pure heart.
Ramin Mirza Yes of course. In a previous video from a while ago, the mufti made a similar video discussing weed and he pulled out a dad joke in which he mentioned tajweed and weed. Quitting weed is actually easier than you think and this is coming from someone who smoked it every day for 5/6 years. I always thought when it’s time to quit, how am I gonna get through my days considering I relied on it so much, but it’s really a mental game. The moment you realise you don’t want weed but you ‘need’ it, that’s when you question yourself. You come to the realisation that you rely on weed, as much as you don’t want to admit it. The moment you realise that you rely on weed that’s when you should know it’s time for change. Ask yourself, are you really incapable of living without being under the influence? When you quit, in the first days you will be very agitated and be frustrated with anything, then you realise what the weed has done to you. It’s all in the mind. In Sha Allah whoever is smoking will quit as soon as they can.
to me i find myself wanting it but not needing it which made it easier for me to quit it alhamdulillah although i am still thankful for trying it since it cured me from skin cancer and from some mental ailments, it was a bit tough to let go of using it socially, but i found that prayer and Qur'an and good people are THE BEST alternatives for mental issues in my case.
It's because of your personality and the path of ease Allah (SWT) gave you. Remember, when it came to Alcohol, the Prophet (SAW) said "There are good benefits, and there are negative repercussions.." then later on when he saw that some people could not hold their liquor, and even some became irrational, violent, and unsound of judgment decided "The negative outweighs the good, so it's best to avoid it all together."'
God bless you brother and I feel you, I smoked since i was 13 and im now 25 (12 years) i stoped for 6 months already. I do not have the urges anymore nor do i think about it at all. I think clearer, i feel more productive and alive but most importantly I SAVE SO MUCH MONEY NOW!
I'm not a muslim and I have different views, but I like how you just point out the facts according to Islam without demonizing anybody. And that thumbnail is worth a like alone
@мухаммед шариф малабарский There are only 2 options. 1 - Sharia punishes people for using intoxicants. 2 - Sharia does not punish people for using intoxicants. It's not as complex as you're trying to make it sound. Muslims try to make Islam way more complex than it is in reality. It's maybe complex in scholarly circles but I have studied Islamic history and the way things are implemented by rulers is all that really counts in my view.
@@DocRealTalk you need to study more, because from what you say i can see that your understanding of "sharia" is reduced to what some muslim critics think it is. "Sharia" simply means "the way" or "the way to faithfulness" it is not a set of rules dealing only with punishment. " makasid alSharia" or "the objectives of sharia" are always the same but it application and legal rules are always changing that is why we have "ijtihad". So basicly you are wrong it's not black or white as you describe it. The scholars can discuse what should be punished or not and how depending on the context we live in. That is way alot of muslim countries don't empliment capital punishement because they feel the context has changed and we have prisons and other forms to deal with crimes.
Read the Quran brother and research Islam, you could get all your answers and Insha Allah one day you will joint the family. May Allah swt guide you and us all to the right path.
I am 17 soon inshallah 18 year old. I’ve been smoking weed since the age of 14 everyday because of the company I had at the time and I’m not proud of it at all. S K Trust me you are not addicted, you are making yourself believe that you are addicted, you are tricking your brain. You just have to be mentally stable and keep your word when you say ur gonna stop. Weed is less addictive than cigarettes in my opinion
Listen brother I have been there for years and trust me it's not an addiction unless if you are mixing it with tabaco which I hope not and even if ! you can quit it if you have a strong will and desire it will not happen at one night and again it might but just try start with praying and Duaa , gym or sports any kind lastly get busy life is more than just smoking weed life is beautiful and it gives us a lot of things to do
I use to be addicted also. After converting and finding out it was haram I was so stressed I couldn't believe I had to stop. I prayed to Allah swt to make my withdraws easy and to have mercy upon me. It's only been a couple weeks and I haven't gotten any withdraws! I might've been a little mad but I didn't even know it since I wasn't wanting weed at all! Alhamdulillah. You can get through this Inshaallah. Know it is all mental and that you're only dependent on it, it's not doing anything for you only letting you run away from your problems!
In all seriousness, I've seen weed help people that have epilepsy and Alzheimer's disease, May allah guide those who can benefit from it medicinally and help those addicted to it socially and mentally.
Drug dealer: Bro if you want to be relaxed get some drugs like weed etc. Muslim person: If you want to be relaxed, Go Pray To Allah! He will give you rest and you will enter jannah..🤗 And btw what I say is real, when i complete my prayers i get very relaxed.
some people have real mental problems and they don't go away with prayer, I mean don't get me wrong it's great having something to believe in it helps massively, but do you see muslims not drinking coffee too because all you need is that sobh prayer? and do you see how not one muslim visits the psychiatrist, because all you need is prayer? these things exist and saying something is haram is very different than saying it's bad for you, I mean is sleep meds haram? or how about anxiety meds? or like antidepressants? sadly some people need those plus praying, and we need people that don't haramize everything, people with common sense like the ones we had before, not this bullshit, I mean you can go around and make McDonald's haram as well while on your way
Extremely correct especially from a "priest" just randomly scroll thru this channeI but I just have to read the qur'an at this point. Western propoganda about the religious build from hatred and war really blind me good, however I still have so much doubt but I'll try my best learning more about Islam
I had so much anxiety, PTSD, ADHD, and depression. For few months I tried medicine weed instead of taking medication from doctor. 2022 pre Ramadan, I used weed and listened to Qur'an for 4 months. After listening to Qur'an while high, I get sooooooooooo close to ALLAH until this day, Alhamdulilah. Now, I stopped all meds abd weed but just listen and read QUR'AN and perform obligatory and Sunnah prayers. Allah hu Akbar, Allah helped me and unplugged me from Dunia.
Thank you for this, tackling modern subjects with Islam is always so amazing and informative. Islam will have the answers for everything until the end of time
Don’t bro he may be a good guy but religious people are kind of nut jobs losing the true definition of faith which is believing in something without evidence, but nowadays claim it is 100% fact. So if you're thinking of giving it up,don't stress because weed is not heroin and you will be fine inshallah.. Good luck and be strong!!
I smoked for over 20 years every day all-day. It took 6 months of dua for me to stop smoking regularly, then sometimes I would have cravings or would get triggered. It stayed like that for another year or so after that and then I was relieved of cravings. Weed IS addictive, but I've never heard of someone beating their wife because of it. mashAllah brother. I was going through the same thing. The most important thing, from a personal experience I would say, is to find your deen and your desire to love Allah back. It takes time, hopefully, you're doing better now, but if you are interested to know how I got out of depression, reply back and lemme know. InshaAllah you'll get better bro
@@c5quared626 I’m not even saying that lol. I’m just saying that you have to give it a go. It’s not the weed. It’s the addiction that’s the problem. I myself was very very depressed, and words can not explain how sad I was, but it’s upon finding the Deen (once again) did I feel true happiness and a lack of necessity of the dunya. Lmao lack of empathy. Please, if you properly thought about it, you wouldda looked at my comments and saw that fact that I am willing to guide ppl through out of depression and addiction through rekindling their Deen. Withdrawal symptoms, what if I told you that I went through similar things and have gone through major withdrawal symptoms yet I don’t rely on that “questionable” thing or source of happiness. When someone is depressed, you need to understand that they don’t have a support network to rely on. Making the dunya your first source of “happiness” that gets you out of your “addiction or depression” and not coupling it with the True source of happiness will keep that same person feeling like crap EVERY DAY. This life was not meant to be a happy one. This life is a test. Again I have gone through some horrible shit, but it’s upon turning to Allah that I’m good now. I certainly believe, that this framework is reliable and InshaAllah the best one to use to get through this life and into the next. Prophet Mohammed (PUBH) did not receive revelations for months, and he was ridiculed. Imagine being a messenger of Allah and ppl you know telling you “where are your words of inspiration from the devil?” NOW THATS DEPRESSION. And if Allah could reveal a whole surah for that moment, and if our messenger has gone through events in his life that are even more traumatic, then we as Muslims must be strong. We should look up to him, and believe in ourselves. Turn back to Allah, realise that this dunya is not everything. Be grateful for all the blessings that he’s given us. That we have two arms, legs, that we can breath, some ppl don’t even have that yet they’re not depressed. There’s SO much I can say. Which is why im telling you bro, turning to Allah is the answer, one way or another. Granted this is hard and yes one needs to find a way to carry this out. But the first step... as it was for me... was to have the intention to find a way to go back to him. As I’m sure you know, if you turn to Allah and walk towards him, he will run towards you. Verily that fact alone lifts sadness from your heart? Did you know that Allah said (if you’ve sinned a lot for many years) that we have made paradise especially for the sinners that repent sincerely. I learnt these things recently (6 months ago) when I decided to turn to Allah and get out of my addiction to “something” and my chronic depression from school and family. Allah has changed me for the better. Truly he is the best of planners. And apologies if that sounded rude or something, I just have a feeling you don’t have an insiders POV of this topic.
I smoked for over 10 years then realize I could be doing so much better if I am not high most of the times, then I quit cold turkey, first 2 weeks were hard as far as sleeping at night, then things started to get better and better each day,now I have more focus on my work,my mood overall is much better and I look healthy and feel healthy,Allhamdulillah, believe me you will love it,every once in a while I would smoke a little bit, just to boost my mood..
Thank you for making this EXTREMELY clear. I do understand that it may not be halal but for many, it has become a very bad habit. People can't say they weren't aware that it is definitely haram for social uses. The Qur'an also addresses gambling and intoxicants. Also very clear. May Allah help us all. Ameen.
King Pin lol that wasn’t sarcastic. If you notice his previous thumbnails, he has a funny face of shock when describing something haram or disliked, in this one he has a more neutral countenance, so I thought oh I hope the mufti isn’t showing tacit approval for this, and thankfully he wasn’t
As a biochemist I do not recommend CBD. The reason is that it is isolated and on its own can be problematic. Also, as an expert in cannabis, I must say that it is not intoxicating, and should be used if needed, and not to be used for recreational use. The medicinal benefit is whole weed, not its isolate such as THC or CBD. My expert advice. As Allah say "ask those who knows". Thanks for your comment.

İf you want to remove smoking weed or alcohol from your life just pray 5 time in a day. Because human nature doesn't accept space. if you put right one at right place wrong one will leave quickly. İf you quit without doing praying or putting something else you may start again or had difficulty about it. İslam is best. Keep saying LA İLLALLAH MUHAMMEDEN RASÛLULLAH.
Islam is only common sense it only teaches us how to be a good human beings and that we are created to worship God with the right way and live our lifes with rules that will benefit us with ways we don't realise sometimes.
As a Christian I think this is good advice, maybe the best I've ever heard. Using it socially really is where all issues stem from. Doing it privately in your home at night as a sleep aid for example is totally different. That being said, the smell of cannabis was never mentioned and I also think it's a big problem, the plant stinks to non-users.
Doing it privately and justifying it with "medicinal purposes" also allows you to keep relying on it more without anyone holding you accountable. Doing it "socially" at least limits your usage.
I’m agnostic but I love all religions especially Islam the love you guys have for everyone is truly remarkable. I may not agree with all your beliefs but it has for sure impacted me in a positive way ☪️❤️

Allah SWT cured my cancer and with marijuana in small doses it helped me. Thank you shiekh for your wisdom and insight 🙏
Could've said it any better Thank u brother 🙏
to me i find myself wanting it but not needing it
which made it easier for me to quit it alhamdulillah
although i am still thankful for trying it since it cured me from skin cancer and from some mental ailments, it was a bit tough to let go of using it socially, but i found that prayer and Qur'an and good people are THE BEST alternatives for mental issues in my case.
It's because of your personality and the path of ease Allah (SWT) gave you. Remember, when it came to Alcohol, the Prophet (SAW) said "There are good benefits, and there are negative repercussions.." then later on when he saw that some people could not hold their liquor, and even some became irrational, violent, and unsound of judgment decided "The negative outweighs the good, so it's best to avoid it all together."'
just get over those 4 to 5 days and you're over it
God bless you brother and I feel you, I smoked since i was 13 and im now 25 (12 years) i stoped for 6 months already. I do not have the urges anymore nor do i think about it at all. I think clearer, i feel more productive and alive but most importantly I SAVE SO MUCH MONEY NOW!

But Islam punishes the sinner not the sin xD
@мухаммед шариф малабарский
I think you missed the point. Or didn't understand it. It was a factual statement.
@мухаммед шариф малабарский
There are only 2 options.

@@c5quared626 and I’m guessing eventually getting addicted and not turning to Allah is not
@@c5quared626 I’m not even saying that lol.

Also, as an expert in cannabis, I must say that it is not intoxicating, and should be used if needed, and not to be used for recreational use. The medicinal benefit is whole weed, not its isolate such as THC or CBD. My expert advice. As Allah say "ask those who knows". Thanks for your comment.
you would find someone people who try to twist the mufti's words

What a moderate mufti, I love and have much respect for the outstandingly laid back and very well carried demeanor of yours. May the blessings of Allah Almighty multiply much in your favor. Peace, blessings and faith.
Still smoking and it's Ramadhan and im fasting Alhamdulillah the thing about the blessed herb is it keeps you on a straight path away from the world ,coz the world is evil, may Allah protect us and guide as to do righteous deeds.Ramadhan Mubarak.
Keep saying

Islam is only common sense it only teaches us how to be a good human beings and that we are created to worship God with the right way and live our lifes with rules that will benefit us with ways we don't realise sometimes.
Alhamdulillah
I am Muslim and I am still learning and amazed
When mufti menk smiles it also makes us feel smile as was with holy prophet
He's a good man, but don't take it too far with the compliments.
I wouldn’t compare him to the prophet SAW
As a Christian I think this is good advice, maybe the best I've ever heard. Using it socially really is where all issues stem from. Doing it privately in your home at night as a sleep aid for example is totally different. That being said, the smell of cannabis was never mentioned and I also think it's a big problem, the plant stinks to non-users.
Doing it privately and justifying it with "medicinal purposes" also allows you to keep relying on it more without anyone holding you accountable. Doing it "socially" at least limits your usage.
I recently quit been addicted for 5 years please pray for me been distracted forgive me and show me the right way

It’s been 4 weeks Alhamdulilah I have stopped smoking weed, cigarettes, drugs, Alhamdulilah it’s easy as choosing two paths. May Allah (ج) make it easier than it is already so we can leave it like a pen on the dust or just like a plant in a garden. Ameen (Ya Rab Al Alameen).
