I guess you're just trying to get to mig-29 and Su-27? If so once you get to jets you might consider actually flying out the strike aircraft and spading them for the bonus rp from mods. It breaks up the monotony of the grind with simple base bombing. Idk if the mig-23ml is good at it or not but 2 500kg and 2 500 incendiary bombs should kill a base which can make for some easy consistent rp. Currently, I'm grinding out USA. I have the f-5c, but it's bad at bombing so I'm forced to grind with air kills which can be mentally draining. So, I've been switching it up by spading anything that can safely make it to and kill at least one bomb target per game. It's made the grind feel less grindy.

f4f ice will not be a bad plane, but i do not believe it will be the best. I do think other nations like france are going to be better than germany after this update. USSR is a good nation tho the R-77's do loose a lot of energy while turning.
Recently just finished the French Air TT with the mirage 4000 and it was a doosie, that makes me nearly finished with every country (except China I don’t like China) hmu if you ever want to play I’m down 😎
