Nice video. I love how all of the different meats are cut into bite sized pieces in order to facilitate the use of chop stix. That giant, heavy duty, cutting board is something I can really appreciate. I just purchased one that is made from Tamarind end grain wood, one solid piece, cross section of a tree trunk that is slightly smaller but ideal for a home kitchen. It weighs TWENTY POUNDS just by itself. I also purchased a heavy duty, hand made, meat cleaver - both from Thailand - that are ideal for the kinds of cutting that this gentleman is doing on his board. The cleaver cuts through meat and bones almost effortlessly. These are nice things to have if you are really into cooking. I have been to Honk Kong many years before it was returned to China. Lots of fond memories here. Thanks for sharing Aden Films! Cheers.
Nice your idea but it wrong . In asian so much people can do it , not every day guys use knife cause at asian every chef need use knife verry good if there want there is good chef
The chicken, duck, and pork look a bit fatty but It must be yummy. I eat something similar to this food in Cambodia. and I hope one day i can try this one in Hong Kong
when we eat char Siu aka BBQ pork...we order ' fei lone sou' aka fatty with lean n a bit burned ...part of the BBQ pork.. the chef knows u a gourmet client immediately. he would pick a BBQ pork with these 3 parts together n chopped to slices... the 3 different textures n favorite suck in one bite... heaven
The video is titled Hong Kong street food..why are there so many dumbos thinking its in US dollars.....do you people think the world only uses one currency?
Those birds look so good. Plus the have the candy red ribs which I crave everyday of my life!!!! That's it I'm buying a ticket to Hong Kong..........when I get the money first......and time........and balls to do it.
I love your videos, I think you can still improve them more with a bit of editing, you know removing the not so relevant parts and maximizing viewing pleasure.
I can agree to some extent about the "not so relevant parts" but I also like it because it shows insight to the daily lives of people. I miss HK food :(
Interesting hygiene practices. I'm sure locals are not bothered by cross contamination, but I wonder if foreigners eating food handled this way get sick? If all the food he is handling is cooked, the customers should be okay. The food looks delicious. I wanted to reach through the screen and try everything! Thanks for the video.
Im Mexican and I love mi tacos, but over 15 years ago I worked in a Chinese restaurant and the owner an old cool men was good cooking all those ducks and he was, still a good specialist in dim sum, sometimes I go to his place and enjoy some good chinese food,
HK$90 pai kai or white chicken with rice??? Its that expesnive already? Last time i was there it was only $48. And i always complain our white chicken with rice cost US$3.50 here in our country
It’s recommended chefs don’t wear gloves because gloves do more to spread cross contamination if they’re not changed out everything he has to grab another food item.
Why do you all think $ means only American dollars? I'm American and it embarrasses me that so many of you guys are stupid enough to think Hong Kong uses American currency? I mean really wtf?
Hello. This is a great video; however, it would be EXPONENTIALLY better if the camera was not moving around so much! The best videos are the ones where the video equipment remains stable and stationary. Thank you.
Why is the uncooked chicken a bright yellow, and just how does it get that way in the first place? Is it a type of paint? Is it a type of seasoning? Does it help preserve the chicken meat????????Does the yellow keep flies of the meat????????

When traveling anywhere even here in the states bacteria different .
... and loosing 10-20K city population to food-born infections every once in a while. but that's alright, Hong-Kong has not even noticed.

This chicken is not expensive~ It's only 90$ with some rice ~ I am from hongkong
That would be about U.S. $11.60 .
HK$90 pai kai or white chicken with rice??? Its that expesnive already? Last time i was there it was only $48. And i always complain our white chicken with rice cost US$3.50 here in our country
@@albertteng1191 commonly it's around HKD $50 for a rice with chicken/pork (we call it Siu Mei Fan燒味飯).
If you buy only the meat, no rice, it'd be more expensive like $90. With rice it's cheaper.
So don't go there food too expensive , and people may get food poisoning ,it isn't worth it sorry !
