Thanks, Matt. What are your views on charging every 4 weeks instead of 4.33 or 52/12. 4 weeks will improve working capital, but I don't have my first account yet and I'm not sure how prospects will view that.

I would advise against it. First, your timing intervals on your invoices will be scattered, and you’re risking making your customer feel like they are getting invoiced more frequently than they should. Example, you send them an invoice on January 1st, then four weeks later, on January 29th, they are receiving their second invoice in the same month. You’d be surprised how many bookkeepers get thrown off by that.
Second, depending on which week you start cleaning a new client, if you are sending invoices four weeks after you start each client, you’re going to feel like you’re constantly sending out invoices.
Plan to send your invoices on the first of every month and it will go a lot smoother, AND you’ll only need to sit down to send invoices 12 days out of the year.

    Hi Matt, great information.
I just like to clarify on the example.
    Part I understand:
We took 0.75 hours for the time taken to clean the 2 toilets (10 outs x 4 mins = 40 mins = 0.66 hrs, rounded up to 0.75hrs)
But why do we times it by 3, you used the words "we have two other roles", what does this mean ?
    Regards.

From what I’ve gathered watching this and their other videos is they do “team cleaning” which has 3 positions. Starter, sanitor(person they reference in this video) & a closer. I’m pretty positive the starter and the closer are the two other roles he was referring to. Hope this helps

Thank you @taytobin8850. They are exactly right. We multiply by 3 because their are three positions/people in our cleaning system. You would multiply by however many people will be cleaning the facility you are bidding. More content on our cleaning system will be available in our training courses coming soon!
