I quit my job as an engineer to take a sales job. Every morning I dragged a cardboard box from under my bed and started making calls. I used to FREEZE making those cold calls. It took two months before I got into my groove and then made a 6 million dollar sale. From there, my confidence was through the roof. I made more money from my home (finally could afford to build an office) in my cut-offs than I ever did in a suit and tie.

Why people don't sell is because the people to whom they sell to don't have the need to buy. it's as simple as that. Don't try to sell what people don't need, don't trick people into buying stuff they don't need. Sell what people need and you'll see you will sell more than you hoped for

Selling something to a person that doesn't need whatever you're selling requires to go against morality itself regardless of whatever bs you want to claim. Is it wrong? Potentially. Does it work against your integrity? Definitely. Do people care? No. More money in their pocket is better for most people, but it takes a toll every single time (has nothing to do with theology). You either are 1- conscious and choose to do good for goodness' sake or 2- you go against your better judgement and impede your ability to see reality for what it is and lie lie lie to yourself then pretend that what you say is true because you've broken your understanding of life. 3- Actually sell something they need, but don't need to convince them... just need to provide / bridge gaps. 4- Go against your own happiness for $$ (because this is, more than likely, the outcome of disregarding where "success" should come from. It's not about exponential growth... And last but not least................. 5- just choose to be bad. You'll be as shitty as people believe you to be and one day you will face someone that is more morally sound than you (countless people if you've taken that stance) and you Must remember that agreeing with them may save you and the people you love. Don't be the guy that made a mistake and can't grasp that he's not "the sh*t", but rather... actually is an excrement that should feed the soil rather than buzz our ears. For the sake of everyone, grasp that he makes himself seen to sell you his service in bullshitting people.
Hey Myron, I'm that guy. Some people like me are becoming more prevalent and might hinder your growth or simply remove you from the map so I suggest you start being humble. If you don't adapt a bit, it will be increasingly hard to fool people and you'll surround yourself with more flies and shallow people... You are materialistic and that idea has nothing to do with money. Just like this recent insult materialistic people used against moral individuals: "you're cheap" (derived from women unable to grasp why some men would rather buy a goldfish than deal with their neglectful stance on life/gave a random example, but we could take your life as example.. just have a chat with your wife I'm sure you'll see some correlations). I sincerely wish you the best, but... "11:02:💡The key to success is making yourself findable and serving others" as summarized by someone's comment: "serving others" is the only key to success. Caring for them has 98% components about psychology... and 2% about physical constraints that may seem difficult to fulfill, but... "hunger" for example, is important (actual hunger like... letting your body tackle stored fats from time to time along with a whole slew of other benefits, but lets not get into biology when you're not even able to have integrity... or perhaps you're already too far parted from reality). In any way, stating things like: "I think this has more potential" will open you up for conversation and you might help yourself to find alternate perspectives.
Take care whoever you really are (maybe you will discover who that is in a near future) along with anyone who tumbled on this comment.
Yes, *learning to care*> beats most things. You can't Know something and pretend you care. If you Think you know, but aren't certain.. then maybe you Do care. Hopefully that's a proper introduction -_-

People are not built the same , not everyone can sell just like everyone can't ride bike or come top of the class

If you can’t sell then you won’t make money. Even people doing 9-5 continue to sell themselves to the employers. Stop selling you will be fired.
