For a nice in depth transformation I suggest Jobby the Hong.
If you can get past his crude humor to the transformation, he explains it fairly well and shows roughly every moving piece, especially when a figure's instructions are lackluster PLANET X!!!

Considering its optimus prime, not exactly a difficult task
This figure gives the vibe of SG Prime when Rodimus takes over and he gets demoted to grumbly executioner who sits in the execution room all day being mad that his job got taken
I picked up Optus Nox a few months back and I freaking love him, I also love the look of prominon. If I got him, He and nox would be the centerpiece. Optus Nox is already a fantastic figure but this dude I feel is a new level
I have the Original and the Nemesis version and I can easily say it's one of if not the best 3rd Party figure I own. It's so posable and just looks good. It's become my favorite Optimus design.
Is that an RID Optimus you have there near the end?

i have the original Pexus. freaking great transformer. i do wish the butterfly joint can go out more, also the hands to be bale to tilt. more accessories then two colors of the same gun. but still great figure. i think this should be a gold standard and ground work for all transformers in articulation and transformation.
The "comic accurate" one seems to be based on the War Within Optimus design.
It's based on Stormbringer. The original Optus Pexus was based on his slight redesign for MTMTE.
I wish the cape had a hood. It would have had him have DOTM Megatron vibes, and I would have loved that
Man I really want this figure, I really hope he still come with the guns cape and axe, (especially the axe, the axe is my favorite part about that figure)

If you like this I highly recommend the tfc Nuclear Blast Optimus Prime. It’s a really awesome figure and probably one of the nicest pieces I own. I got the reissue one from Tfsource and it even came with an extra gillie cape for it.
Man, I'd re-buy this mold in the original colors if it came with the axe.

Also you can use a hair dryer on those stress marks and they'll go away in about 45 seconds

I’m not a 3rd party collector, but I gotta admit, I kinda want this thing. I’ve also seen stuff that’s more original looking than just 3rd party’s version of official TF figures. That and a classics Prime upgrade kit that you also reviewed. The $15 one. Also I always wanted the Fansproject Parallax Powered Commander set cuz I saw it as a kid and it was so cool! Also discovered one in SG Optimus colors, but those two are closer to what “holy grails” are cuz of how hard to find they are…
I just snagged one from PSX. I can't wait to get him! Its also my first of this model because of the exact same reasons you had.

I ordered it fron ShowZ, and it arrives in like 2-3 weeks, but I am now completly sure to watch out in the transformation
PS. If the instructions are truck to robot, it's because th original pexus came packaged in his truck mode ;)
I dont own any 3rd party figures, (mainly cause they cost a decent amount compared to most official releases) however ive been intending to get optus pexus, but i kind of like nox and prominon better, so im figuring out which of the two i think looks better
just got my email that these are hitting bbts’s warehouse soon so can’t wait to obtain this!! so thinking about making a stop motion of him and mp-10 duking it out

I'm gonna try and get this one because I wanted the normal version (which I can't find anywhere anymore) and the nemesis version didn't look good to me, but this hits. If I can get a hold of it it's going next to my mp-10 shattered glass

To be honest I don’t know why I wanted a prime named”the fallen prime” and expected this to be the design
It reminds me of real grade gundam before they got rid of full inerframe (idk if the still have moving armor) especially in the knees and exposed armor

What is it with the shredded cloth cloak that makes a figure look way more badass? As terrible as SS Movie 3 Megatron is(awesome robot mode but terrible transformation) that cloth cloak makes him much more awesome

Objectively, the Optus mold is THE. BEST. TRANSFORMER. PERIOD. I own Optus nox and is so (bleep)-ing GOOOOOOOOOOOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I can not get over these robots having fabric clothing. A cape/poncho made of cloth...makes no sense and looks ridiculous. Should be made of some kind of linked metal like chainmail.
I want the figure but never gonna use that thing I think its ridiculous too

I have received this. And I am still waiting for TF source to repair it. Because mine came with a missing shoulder guns. Also I did not get mine with bullet holes in it. Which now makes me angry that this was my first third party transformer. And I bought the wrong one. Can you supply a link to the one with the bullet holes?

No official release date yet for the standard release. There is a normal prime coming later on this year so my guess is end of this year to beginning of next for the SG one

7:19 it does the whole gundam thing I know what you mean because I literally have a gundam right naxt to me and the gundam, it's a MODEL KIT and if you don't know what model kit means it means you have to build it and thats such a pain in the ass like PIECE BY PIECE it's not like *oh look the arms are built and the legs and chest head hands hips and weapons are built ok I'll plug in the arms legs hands head hips and chest together and then I'll have the toy!* buuuuuut NO you literally have to build EVERYTHING YES EEEEVVVEEERRRYYYTTTHHHIIINNNGGG PEICE.BY.PIECE!!! AND ITS SUCH A PAIN IN THE ASS!!! BUTT 🍑 there are gundam toys that you don't have to build and gosh it saves you so much time the one next to me I had to build and it took like 3 days or so I recommend the ones that aren't model kits how do you then apart the big gundam boxes that don't have see through plastic you have to built it but the ones that do have see through plastic and you can see the toy already built then you know you don't have to build it.
Gundam's are fun to put together, It's a hobby.
