For real, the fact that such an articulated figure has both a clean design and a simple transformation without suffering in any area is just, wow. Also the price, holy shit that's cheap for such a figure
MMC generally has very straightforward transformations. The only downside to that is the alt-modes tend to suffer a bit - but I think that's fine.
We're so used to Hasbro's God awful instruction manuals that this was a breath of fresh ass.

I heard Flame Toys aren’t allowed to have their figures transform as per Hasbro since they’re officially licensed by them as well as Three A or Three Zero or whatever they’re called nowadays.

That’s not the worst thing honestly. Transforming model kits are honestly very shaky at best. I’d rather have a solid model that doesn’t transform instead of a transforming grenade.
Why does that not surprise me? No wonder they bought power rangers.
I think a large part of why this figure is so posable is because of just how simple the transformation is. Don’t get me wrong, it’s definitely a highly posable figure as is, but the transformation friendly design of the robot and the alternate mode definitely gives it an edge that a lot of other figures don’t have. Compare this to say, a movie figure, and what I’m talking about becomes more clear. A movie figure likely won’t be able to reach the same level of articulation simply because the engineering required to get from one mode to the other is way more complex and leaves less room for joints. That being said, working parts of the transformation into the joint system is a genius idea and is definitely a step forward.

Got mines a couple of weeks ago and I love him. MMC hit this one out of the park, my only issues are he doesn't hold his guns as well as I would like.
