TBH animated is sorely underused in 3rd party, heck we've only recently been getting some prime

@@Roboshi2007 More like completely nonexistent. There was that one Huffer and Pipes set several years ago and since then I haven't seen a single 3rd party Animated figure at all. But you know, better make the 50th version of Masterpiece style G1 Dinobots instead, not enough of those already.
@@leetrithere was an upgrade kit for animated Optimus with an axe and some other accessories and some figures of some of the human characters from animated but I thinks that’s it besides hugger and pipes.l

For the gap in the intakes of the jet mode, open up the chest flap and put your finger through to guide the pegs into their designated slots as you close it all up.
For tank mode, those black tabs on the inside of the back treads flip up to peg into the wings. Also the tank's cannon extends a bit more. As for that pin sticking out, my best advice is to screw off the wing and try to push it in. Probably on the ledge of a table or something.

I’ll never not be astounded at how triple-changers can even look remotely faithfully similar to the cartoon designs. I’m baffled at how they can work so well in the real world

Transformers animated really boosted Blitzwing for me as one of my favorites
As a plane nerd, it's a shame they went with animation's accurate jet instead of a real thing (Mig-25) which is equally blocky but could offer more real estate for design team to work with.
This one doesn't seem much of an upgrade to DX9 Gewalt honestly.

If you want thorough instructions with English captions, I suggest the channel Golden Zhen. As for your issue with the intakes, he used a pick to push them back out just before closing the two halves of the jet completely.
I really like the feet becoming the boosters and Blitzwing had some savage lines lol
Blitzwing is my favorite triple changer too. Not just from G1 but Transformers in general.

funnily enough the older video (DX9 Gewalt) was my introduction to your channel so am excited for this one
for the intakes: you push them in just a little bit to close it, then, before closing all the way, you pull them back up with the part separator so they can tab in, it's actually easier then it sounds (I've had this figure for a while now)

I may have not seen the G1 series, but i have enjoyed all the third party transformer toys on your channel and I continue to watch them because they are just flat out entertaining! But food for thought for spider lady, my figure ended up having a loose upper leg joint from transforming it into the spider mood too much.

If I get to choose between ST01 Commander or Gewalt. I would say, I'd buy both. I love the bulkiness of gewalt, I love the G1 accuracy of ST01. Personally I'd say both figures are EXCELLENT!

Oh wow, the engineering for the transformation took alot of inspiration from the Titan's Return Blitzwing figure. That figure was awesome!

Mr jobby sir, you are the only person I know of other than me who has had the pin issue and honestly I just ended up getting show z to send me a replacment wing,took ages though but should just let you unscrew it off and add the new one, and incase you are curious, the plastic has a method of the paint being mixed into the plastic during the making process, so it has no paint on it but it's why it looks so vibrant, and for the intakes pretty sure I just angled it up before compressing the chest together

Edit: After watching the whole thing, I gotta say I'm glad I got mine with the first batch when it released. I had none of the QC issues Jobby did (no loose abs, no misassembly, etc) and I only had to pay $115 for it.

8:36 I think a good solution is wrapping a little string behind the intake flaps before closing the body so you can push them forward but i may be wrong

On my copy with the intake I fold them in like you did but before I tab in the chest part I use a small paperclip like object to push them forward from the side. Hope this helps anyone who needs help on that part.

I have this figure and for 6:20 I just use a parts separator or something narrowly to push the jet intake back forward after I get it past the obtrusion.
I don't have the pin sticking out at 12:01 so I can't help you there.
P.S. The back portion of tank turret can also extend, but don't be too forceful.

I have no idea where the "boi-oi-oi" came from but I vibe with being amused by something and adding it to my lexicon for no good reason.
To fix the issue with the jet intakes:
Leave the ab section open so you can poke the intakes back forward from behind, as seen in Emgo's JTI video for the figure
Mang gives us the reverse TF, but Jobby gives us the forward conversion!
I know the pain of slightly jutting pins - a pin on the MMC Nox Prominon has a pin sticking out of one of the wheel segments on the back of the bot mode that scratches the back piece when trying pushing it up flush against the back

I have this guy, and I love it! Best MP Blitzwing imo to date. Luckly I don't have any of the issues that Jobby has. Maybe the ab cruch isnt as loose. Highly recommend, Destroys DX9s version.

My suggestion would be if you have any tweezers is that before you close up the part for the jet mode use the tweezers to grab on to the piece and get it where it's just right to plug it in the peg hole.
I had no problem with my copy, played with it multiple times (transformed as well) and still sturdy as a rock. even my ab crunch is solid tight. tabs are strong in my copy
I really appreciate that even though he didn't include his own DX9 in the whole video, at least he used the part separator (it's fcked beyond reason after years of usage btw). It's the reason why i subscribed to him for years (miss the naked on the floor joke too btw).

The pin issue can be fixed by placing a hot soldering iron on the head of the pin, be very careful not to touch the plastic or put any pressure on it while heating up the peg. Once it’s reached the right temp you can slowly and gently push the pin down in the soft plastic. Then let it cool and should be good.
I was able to get this on pre-order. Pretty much agree with everything he says, one of my favorites though. It's way bigger than I expected it to be though which isn't a bad thing it just makes it harder for storage

Hey @JobbytheHong. Since you're going to review the Hiya Toys Godzilla KOTM, I'd like to give a heads up on some issues.
On my copy, some of the dorsal plates are bent out of the box. While you can easily straighten them using the hairdryer and cold water method, they will return to being bent eventually. I've decided to use binder clips on my copy to keep them straight, and I'll leave it for a month to see if it works.
Also, in my copy, some of the ball joints in the tail were superglued to their sockets, resulting in a very stiff tail. I had to force them loose by using an old pair of hobby tweezers
