@@pramodkumarmishra4424 Yeah but it's brutal to listen to the whole thing. Just the beginning theme mostly. The rest is just generic episode filler music...
I love that Strange New Worlds is bringing back the joy, optimism, and adventure that is the best Star Trek since The Original Series with most magnificent music superb soundtrack sounds worthy of the NCC-1701 Enterprise.
Haven't really given this a chance since New Trek has been pretty horrible and lost all the things you mentioned in favor of become the same grimderp general garbage as other sci fi series. If it's getting back to roots than fantastic! I have a long weekend at the end of the month I might have to give this show a chance
It does have a little more upright and positive tone. The writing is still scattershot as all Hell though. People let their nostalgia blind them. Spock is absolutely terribly written. The "muh feminism" shit that went on in S2E1 was some of the worst GURL POWER crap I have ever seen. Not to mention it was completely mean spirted and unwarranted. Dudes come on board the ship to do their job and the women have to be absolute assholes to them for no reason. No. Reason.
Yeah I really loved when they started comparing the augments with the jews in WW2 Germany. Very joyful, much optimistic, wow. Felt very utopian when people in a utopian society are being hunted and bullied because propaganda tells that they are dangerous.
I gurgled a whimper, dropped a tear and roared quietly inside. This is why the individual compositions for each Star Trek series are so important and allow you to live another set of new and familiar adventures. You must sit in the captain's chair and engage in your mind as you listen.
Thank you so much for putting this up, I can't find the soundtrack on a physical release (hopelessly old school here, I know) and this is much appreciated
Some of the best music, including classical music, has been written for the cinema and this is some of the best along with the Mega Suites. Thank you, Lakeshore Records.
Loving the heroic part at 13:25 from the finale where Pike had to knowingly delete the messages that could save the cadets and himself from Delta Radiation accident he knows still to come in his future after his future self comes back to warn him there's no stopping it without his fate falling onto someone else 🥲🥲
The Motif sounds original, but the use of the lower sounds of trumpest and the like to make the backing part, it feels very reminiscent of alot of the soundtracks from the movies.
You can tell Nami Melumad’s loves the music of Star Trek. Throughout it you can hear a homage to James Horner’s Danger motif. It’s especially prevalent in Gorn with the Wind.
3:06 / 3:07... That's what made me really fall in-love with Anson Mount's Pike. It's energetic, hopeful, yet somber all at the same time. On 7:33, I heard a bit of Spock's theme from Michael Giacciano's OST. Unsure if that was intentional, but it was nice. Nami and Jeff Russo did an amazing job on the whole OST, but *_"Everyone Wants a Piece of the Pike"_* hit me the most! Season 1 was good. Season 2 however, I hope it doesn't fall short. On 7:33, I heard a bit of Spock's theme from Michael Giacciano's OST. Unsure if that was intentional, but it was nice. I want Star Trek to continue improving. It's come a long way ever since I first started watching ENT, TNG, and VOY. Even when I watched TOS for the first time, which Strange New Worlds is based off of, there's some Interesting Episodes where McCoy says _"Don't destroy the one {galaxy} named Kirk!"_ from the Episode: "Balance of Terror" Yeah, sure, there were flaws and whacky subplots that'll piss new gen fans off in my opinion, but I love the TOS vibes in its own way. My last grandparents used to put on Star Trek all the time when I was with them. I've made peace with that loss ever since I got to see Strange New Worlds. I really hope Strange New Worlds can continue to improve. Not that you have to reply, but thanks for bringing this soundtrack to life. I'm happy to be apart of Star Trek in 2023. 🖖💙🌌
the best things take time. and golly, this release took! EDIT: Just wish they’d’ve included the music from the first and fifth episodes from where Pike convinces the respective aliens to join the Federation. Two different tracks, just…yknow. Great music that’s sadly missing. :(
Yeah, I want that music in the background of my video :-) :-) In Star Trek:SNW, every episode is almost a musical. Every scene, every speech - the music is constantly there in the background and it's amazing!
wish pike would get the goldsmith theme as it's literally now the iconic theme of the enterprise and should be traditionally handed from captain to captain
"Space, the final frontier. These are the voyages of the starship Enterprise. Its five-year mission: to explore Strange New Worlds, to seek out new lifeforms and new civilizations, to boldly go where no one has gone before." --Captain Christopher Pike, series opening title sequence.
The fans wanted Strange new worlds and it's simpy the most beautiful star trek series ,since the the original series. My favourite track is just after the main titles .
Why aren't the scores for season one and two of Star Trek: Strange New Worlds available on physical media. I mean CDs not vinyl. I don't stream, or download because I haven't a computer. I want to be able to have in my hands a frigging cd with liner notes. The music for this series is Fantasmagoricallyfabulous and I'd really love to have the ability to buy a goddamn cd.
I have to admit, I've been listening to this soundtrack obsessively lately. It's become kind of my background music. Has anyone noticed, though, that some of the tracks seem to be truncated? I can't remember which ones off the top of my head, but there are several which seem to rather abruptly cut off. It's not like on some soundtracks, either, where it's just the break between tracks on the album and the second track picks up where the previous one left off. Or is it simply that the music cuts off that abruptly in the show? I'm seriously considering paying Real Money™ for this soundtrack, wondering if the truncation is just the "promo" nature of what's freely available on here, but the MP3 album on Amaz*n shows the same run time as this track. Anybody else noticed this?
Thanks by share, at last , I wait for this new season of the Captain´s Pike , but aty last the 3r Picard season rescue the best part of the worst 2 season , and show that the sharp toot of the age actors with a good argument leave us a good taste of the NExt generation era.
I was giving up on Star Trek after I saw four episodes on Star Trek Discovery, I hated it. I jumped ship and we t to The Orville which was superior to Discovery. This Star Trek Strange New Worlds brought my faith back. STAR TREK IS MY RELIGION.
Meh Strange New worlds is fine, its not perfect but no trek show really is. Even the holy sacred TOS had some glaring flaws and if it aired today there would be a million people bitching and moaning about it.
Titles of these soundtracks are amazing and no one is talking about it.
Good to see the tradition of puntastic titles is being upheld
Put A T'Pring On It lol
That's because except for the theme....most of the soundtracks are extremely boring...so no one is listening....
@@Anth230 It has 11k views. So... Someone is listening.

I really really loved opening theme of this series.
Somehow they completely make TOS-tic Musics so modernity.
The "Main Title Theme" is the best variation on the original I've ever heard. Ideal balance between identity preservation and innovation.
Nami Melumad is a wonderful composer.
Thank you so much for putting this up, I can't find the soundtrack on a physical release (hopelessly old school here, I know) and this is much appreciated
I'm here specifically for Gorn With the Wind and The Pike Maneuver! Epic music and puns!

I think that is from episode one but it does have the same motif that you are thinking of!

I miss the track playing at the end of E10 when Pike is entering the sick-bay looking for Spock....WHY IS THAT ONE NOT ON THE ALBUM FFS?
This is the track I was specifically looking for 😢
Omg, finally guys. This is absolute optimistic masterpiece
Woo, been waiting for this album for almost a year. So excited to listen :)

Isn't the first one, home is where the helm is. I believe it fits the scene you described best

Absolutely Glorious! The true successor to the legacy of Star Trek. Live long and prosper!
This album is GREAT!!! Thank you for sharing! Bit I am looking for the songs from S2 E 9, Subspace Rhapsody. Is that available for purchase?
wish pike would get the goldsmith theme as it's literally now the iconic theme of the enterprise and should be traditionally handed from captain to captain
I wish that too but I’ll settle for this
genial.. me encanta, soy seguidora, de Star Trek desde niña...
Its a shame they didnt include the short snippet of the TOS theme from episode 5 just after the Rongovians fly the Federation's flag
I was also hoping for the short snippet of the Romulan theme from the last episode. Oh well.
Beautiful !
Without doubt, the best series in the whole franchise.
I grew up with TOS. Although, I like the completely different Kirk and Spock.
Well it's about damned time!
Thanks so much for uploading this, been a long wait.
I love it! Amazing Series, amazing soundtrack!
Anyone else notice the Star Trek VI-esque menace phrase in M'hanit and Greet?

Looking for that Romulan theme from "A Quality of Mercy," the one inspired by "Balance of Terror."

Will you be releasing Subspace Rhapsody on CD?
So excellent serial
Any word on when this will be released on CD?

Great musicians, lousy show.
Better than Discovery
