So, this is actually the first game I have ever paid money to buy. My family isn't that well off so I don't usually buy games. The first time I watched Hades, I felt like electricity was passing through me. The art, the visuals, the AMAZING music, it was one of the coolest things I had ever seen. I haven't played this game much at all honestly, barely 50 hours total, but I guarantee that the feeling of euphoria I got listening to the the whole ost after playing the game for these few hours was literally orgasmic, and well worth the price. Even if I don't play the game much because I completely suck at it, this music and feeling will forever be in my heart. I love you supergiant games, thank you for this piece of art.

I remember listening to ancient Greek music, a long time ago. And I remember reading mythology avidly. And then 15 years later I stumbled on Hades. Everything was so accurately Greek, but just a bit distorted, finely put together in the form of a game. But then, I remember thinking a game cannot reach the same levels as the mythological lore they get inspired from.
I was so wrong. The game is so deep, so beautiful, it has so much content. The graphics and the music are so amazing... The roguelite mechanics make the narration so great... I never thought the true spirit of mythology would sprout out again in a video game! But it's still so fresh and modern! You guys have really done the greatest job imaginable, I haven't been impressed like that in quite a while...

also, to grind trough the underworld countless more times on increasingly harder difficulty until its just impossible. Smashing all the shades. defying Hades. unlocking everything there is too unlock. (and yes i've seen the 64 heat clear video. i just won't manage that, nor do i strive to. i just want to have fun^^)

As much as I completely LOVE every piece here, hearing On The Coast while meeting 'mother' gave a whole new feeling of accomplishment mixed with wonder of being on the surface. It being entirely orchestral just increased my utmost love for this piece as I love that genre too haha. 2:17:40 - Beautiful.

When the Unseen Ones track starts playing during the REDACTED fight, my blood just starts pumping even harder, you can feel the adrenaline! It really gives you strength imo even after many victories against REDACTED. Love this game, so much!

That's when you know the soundtrack blends in well enough with the action. >:]
...Not to say that not paying attention to the music is necessarily good, because the music really needs some appreciation, but at least it doesn't distract from the action.

You are probably too young to play it when it originally came out, but the Diablo 2 is a great one.

Through Asphodel makes the hairs on my neck stand. It's the perfect song, for the perfect design for a boss (a skeletal hydra in the fires of the underworld). Just perfect. Spot on.

Much like another commenter, I don't have too much cash to spare and I rarely ever buy games. I bought myself Hades for my birthday and it's been one of the most pleasant /things/ I've ever bought. I have thousands of escape attempts and I'm not tired of it in the slightest. I wear through controllers from sheer playtime.
I don't just play it, though. I sometimes stop after battle to wander around the rooms and listen to the different stems of music. I leave Zagreus in the lounge for ambience when I'm eating so I don't feel so lonely in quarantine. I can't count the hours I've just left Zagreus standing around in the hall while Hades passes endless judgment on the claims of mortal shades. It's better than lofi for me.
I'm listening to Good Riddance right now and it's so touching and perfect for the day. I've just passed through a very dark time and things are looking way up. When things turn around, I'll be gifting friends copies of this game. Thank you SG. Please wait for my job application one day :D
