i think you will enjoy the moscow vid. after, for a flip-side experience, i highly recommend you check out a concert they did with the san francisco orchestra in 1999. any of those would be great, but if you still haven't heard 'master of puppets', then that would be the go-to. best wishes to you

You make me appreciate songs that are old to me like they are the newest joy. This song is about nightmares and dreams of evil things, being afraid to go to bed because of the monsters that are near.
The song "One" has the most messed up story behind it and the meaning of the words are screwed up hard. The movie it refers to, "Johnny Got His Gun", is a deeply twisted look at war and what the military industrial complex tries to do by selling lies to poor, dumb folk to get them to fight in countries they never heard of in the name of freedumb".

Don't know how hard you want to go with this experiment, but... If you're up for some Death Metal.... Arch Enemy - Handshake with Hell
This isn't even their best song, but it's a really good example of how she can go from the Death Metal growl to Clear Vox in a snap. She's incredible. And you know that guitar solo hits hard too.
Though, I think Death Metal might be a bit of an acquired taste.
Also, I just found your channel today and I think I watched the entire playlist in one sitting. I had it playing while I was working, but it was really a pleasure to see you getting into Rage against the Machine, Korn, Foo Fighters, etc... You better get a playlist started! You just opened a Pandora’s Box of BANGERS! The big name hits are all awesome too, but I LOVE some of the ‘B-side’ tracks that don’t get the same commercial love - No Leaf Clover (my personal absolute favorite), King Nothing, Seek & Destroy, Cyanide, Frantic, Shoot Me Again, Invisible Kid…. Their Saint Anger album (which has the last three songs I listed) got a LOT of hate, mostly because it was a bit of a departure from their earlier work, but it resonated with me as a teenager when it came out. Their newest release Lux Aeterna also has some incredible riffs - My two favorites from that have been the title track and Sleepwalk my life away. It was a HUGE cultural outrage when they cut their hair in the early 90s - they were the start of thrash metal, but were absolutely an essential part of the hair metal/headbanger scene. Didn’t change their musical prowess though.

This was Mariano Rivera's walk-up song. And for those who don't know, Mariano Rivera (born November 29, 1969) is a Panamanian-American former professional baseball pitcher who played 19 seasons in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the New York Yankees, from 1995 to 2013. Nicknamed "Mo"[1] and "Sandman",[2] he spent most of his career as a relief pitcher and served as the Yankees' closer for 17 seasons. A thirteen-time All-Star and five-time World Series champion, he is MLB's career leader in saves (652) and games finished (952). Rivera won five American League (AL) Rolaids Relief Man Awards and three Delivery Man of the Year Awards, and he finished in the top three in voting for the AL Cy Young Award four times. He was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame as part of its class of 2019 in his first year of eligibility, and is to date the only player ever to be elected unanimously by the Baseball Writers' Association of America (BBWAA).[3]
Raised in the modest Panamanian fishing village of Puerto Caimito, Rivera was an amateur player until he was signed by the Yankees organization in 1990. He debuted in the major leagues in 1995 as a starting pitcher, before permanently converting to a relief pitcher late in his rookie year. After a breakthrough season in 1996 as a setup man, he became the Yankees' closer in 1997. In the following seasons, he established himself as one of baseball's top relievers, leading the major leagues in saves in 1999, 2001, and 2004. Rivera primarily threw a sharp-moving, mid-90s mile-per-hour cut fastball that frequently broke hitters' bats and earned a reputation as one of the league's toughest pitches to hit. With his presence at the end of games, signaled by his foreboding entrance song "Enter Sandman", Rivera was a key contributor to the Yankees' success in the late 1990s and early 2000s. An accomplished postseason performer, he was named the 1999 World Series Most Valuable Player (MVP) and the 2003 AL Championship Series MVP, and he holds several postseason records, including lowest earned run average (ERA) (0.70) and most saves (42).
Rivera is regarded as one of the most dominant relievers in major league history. Pitching with a longevity and consistency uncommon to the closer role, he saved at least 25 games in 15 consecutive seasons and posted an ERA under 2.00 in 11 seasons, both of which are records. When he retired, his career 2.21 ERA and 1.00 WHIP were the lowest in the live-ball era among qualified pitchers. Fellow players credit him with popularizing the cut fastball across the major leagues. Along with his signature pitch, Rivera was known for his precise control, smooth pitching motion, and composure on the field. In 2013, the Yankees retired his uniform number 42; he was the last major league player to wear the number full-time, following its league-wide retirement in 1997 in honor of Jackie Robinson. In 2014, MLB named its AL Reliever of the Year Award in Rivera's honor. A devout Christian, he has been involved in charitable causes and the religious community through the Mariano Rivera Foundation. For his philanthropy, Rivera received the Presidential Medal of Freedom, the highest civilian award in the United States, in September 2019. - Credit Wikipedia.

Looked up and down the comments and didn't see this - this was actually their 4th album, not their first. The really sick part is that 3 of the 4 members (lead singer, lead guitarist and drummer) are still the same from the very beginning. They're on their 3rd bass guitar player - the first died in a tour bus accident on tour, the second (who played on this track) ended up leaving after a lot of drama, and they got Ozzy Osbourne's bass player for the 3rd who's recorded the last few albums with them.
