LISTEN TO MATTEL BY AVENGED SEVENFOLD! It's one of their newer songs and that song along with the rest of the album is very different, but I think you might enjoy that and the song nobody
Avenged Sevenfold songs, to me, feel like stage plays, in the way they're structured. You can almost imagine the actors on stage acting out what they're describing in the lyrics.
I'm going to Rock in Rio this year to watch these mfs again this year. Such a great band live. 2022 I went to see Bullet for My Valentine, great experience too, godamn
Please do “Bat Country.” The song changes pace multiple times, every instrument is wild and powerful, and the singing is phenomenal. Think you’d like it
Id like to see songs from waken the fallen get their due love and respect. songs like Chapter 4 and I wont see you tonight part 2 are songs that i feel capture the essence of this band. Beast and the Harlot is an eternal classic and he should definitely react to it but I really wanna see these songs
Bro, I was going through RUclips listening to metal music to remember the old days and just searching for new and refresh reactions and then I stumbled with you reacting to hail to the king… enough fucking said. Dude you’re genuine and real with your opinions and that just made me follow cause I want more now. Greetings from Mexico 🇲🇽 Keep on the good shii dude
Never not gonna love Avenged Sevenfold, their songs are so iconic, and they were never stingy with music, I remember discovering them off of call of duty, they had multiple songs in the zombie mode, they even made one for cod zombies, it makes the songs so much better imo. The songs they had in zombies were "Shepherd of Fire", "Not Ready To Die", "Mad Hatter", and this one. Shepherd of Fire is my personal fav tbh.
Rob, you're one of the greatest reactors on RUclips. I absolutely love your energy and your excitement. Thank you so much for all of your reactions. You are a joy to watch! I also have appreciation for your camera quality, your lighting and your editing. All around good shit.
LOVED the kendric lamar comparison. I'm coming from the other direction. Been listening to Avenged since for like 15 years now, and just recently started getting into Kendric. And as soon as you said it, I could absolutely see it. Both so thoughtful, very artistic approach to their craft. Both one of the greats for sure.
Quite a few metal bands have both a rhythm guitarist and a lead guitarist, so the rhythm guy can take over the lower guitar parts when the lead guitarist plays solos live.
Bought their album 'Waking the Fallen' back in 2003 when it first came out just based on hearing one song (Unholy Confessions) and has been undeniably the greatest album purchase I ever made. Like them or not, you cannot deny that this band KNOWS how to make music. 🔥 Another A7X song that is absolutely phenomenal, yet wildly overlooked, is 'Strength of the World'. IMO (even though it's not my favorite song) it is one of the greatest songs ever created. Just musically, thematically, atmospherically top tier.
Dude I love your reactions - genuine and fun to watch. Well done. A7X has soooo much 1980s metal feel but modernized and better sounding with newer technology. But all the vocal harmonies and long held chords are straight up 80s. Looking forward to the next one!
I loved Sieze the Day and Bat Country, those were my introduction to them many years ago. Fast forward to 5 years ago and the boyfriend I had just started dating. He introduced Nightmare and Buried Alive. My all time most favorite songs now. That driving beat gets me jacked and ready to get my day going and then they'll be on repeat all day with Five Finger Death Punch.
I'm so glad you like A7X. I've been listening to them since I was 17 (40 now) and I'm still a fan. I play their music daily!! My favorite is Buried Alive but I have a long list of favorites!! Keep on enjoying them. They sure are a part of my soul at this point!! 🤘🏼
Beast and the harlot, Bat Country, seize the day and buried alive are some of my favorites! if you watch a live from them, their concert from the lbc in 2008 is definately the best!
the mixing, especially on how punchy and clean everything sounds, in this entire album is amazing. So much punch in the kick and Crack in the snare, hearing the tail of every cymbal crash, and even the bells and guitars are all very clear
Yo I literally just speed-ran these reaction vids at work and you are sooooo expressive it's awesome! You should check out Rise Against, they play in the same ballpark that RATM does
You should do "Bat Country" by them. Its one of my fav A7X songs and the first song i ever heard from them way back in the day. Or if you wanna hear something slower and more sentimental by them "So Far Away" is also a great song, its dedicated to their drummer who passed away.
Rob my dude, its so fun to watch you discover and appreciate these tracks without the baggage of gatekeeping or stereotyping of bands. Come up listening to this stuff and you run into cliques and hipster attitudes telling you this or that about stuff you simply enjoy.
So got two bands for you. 1) All that remains. Songs: Two Weeks (more metal), If I Was Nothing (More Alternative rock but showcase their style) 2) Bullet For My Valentine. Songs: Your Betrayal and Tears Dont Fall. BFMV is more singular style while ATR has some versatility. Enjoy!!!
Love the genuine reaction from one Rob to another! If you haven't checked it out already, MIA and Dear God are amazing ballads by them, totally different sound.
If you liked the length, flow, and sound of this song, then you NEED to check out their song 'Buried Alive'. What you said about how a 6 minute song sounds like a 3 minute long because of how the song is planned out and played is absolutely correct, and Buried Alive is the same way! It's one of my all-time favorites, and I'd say it's one of their greatest of all time. Once you listen to it (and maybe make a video out of it?) I'll FOR SURE be commenting my additional thoughts on it. Also, you been playing Tekken 8 at all? Or are you more of a Street Fighter 6 kinda guy?
Along for the ride big dog. I grew up with this genre. I love seeing people’s reactions to music that was so influential to me. I hope to see more. “SUBSCRIBED” ✅
As a lifelong rock/metal fan any discussion of best bands isn’t a good use of time. There are so many amazing musicians who all do things differently. If you’re at the beginning of that journey then every band is going to be as incredible as the next. Some pillars will be Iron Maiden, Black Sabbath, Pantera, Metallica, Megadeth, slayer and then those will give you a good for basically anything else you listen to. Tamer rock like Billy Joel like you said will obviously be very different but just as vital to listen to.
you should check out the songs they did live in the LBC as it is and always will be there best ever performance live as they sound like they do in the recording studio. Also there best song of all time is Afterlife.
Quality Avenged Sevenfold content: check out Almost Easy. Then look up the video of the late Jimmy "The Rev" Sullivan do the drum track for the official album version in one take.
I've seen them 5 or 6 times now in person. This and Hail to the King are great, but A Little Piece of Heaven live is crazy. Unrelated note, you really do to do a Jinjer - Pisces reaction.
You gotta check out tornado of souls by megadeth. High energy through the whole song and the most incredible guitar solo. I think it’s the greatest thrash metal song ever
Avenged Sevenfold is hands-down one of my favorite bands of all time. You need to react to a Nine Inch Nails song; they have awesome lyrics and a really cool industrial sound. I recommend The Hand That Feeds or Head Like a Hold
I do t even watch anime but I picture some badass battle sequences with skulls and blood and shit, and when m shadows laughs it’s like he’s about to do the finisher 😂

You have got to try buried alive next after this
A7x live in LBC brother.
You should listen to their song "ALMOST EASY."
One of their top best songs.
I'm sure you wont be dissapointed.
Thank me later.
Unholy confessions or afterlife
Buried Alive is a great Avenged song. To me, it's one of the most anticipated songs when they play live.
That one is my most favorite!
Facts
Absolutely a fact
Will always be my favorite A7X song. Just beautiful guitar tones (multiple). And M. being as badass as he ever was...
Avenged Sevenfold songs, to me, feel like stage plays, in the way they're structured. You can almost imagine the actors on stage acting out what they're describing in the lyrics.
Definitely hear a lot of Brian May influence in his solos
@@vampmode9132 lots of Slash too, especially in their earlier stuff.
Never looked at it like this
Accurate comment given their song 'the stage' 😂
Hearing this live was literally unreal. I was crying from how good it was and also it’s literally my favorite song of all time.
I've been listening to Avenged Sevenfold since 2005. Been to 4 concerts. They never get old.
Wow and how was the experience?
I'm going to Rock in Rio this year to watch these mfs again this year. Such a great band live. 2022 I went to see Bullet for My Valentine, great experience too, godamn
“They never get old”, sorry bub, that’s impossible. They are 19 years older today than when you started listening to them
Please do “Bat Country.” The song changes pace multiple times, every instrument is wild and powerful, and the singing is phenomenal. Think you’d like it
"Afterlife" at their live LBC performance is a MUST MUST MUST. You won't regret it. It's top tier
Avenged sevenfold - beast and the harlot is a must listen man. One of their best songs from the early days
Id like to see songs from waken the fallen get their due love and respect. songs like Chapter 4 and I wont see you tonight part 2 are songs that i feel capture the essence of this band. Beast and the Harlot is an eternal classic and he should definitely react to it but I really wanna see these songs
@@brettrigby2602yes this! Waken the fallen is IMO their best album. Too bad M almost lost his voice touring that album for 2 years!
Beast and bat country
If he listens to that he's gonna loose his f*cking mind 😂
I know it’ll be awesome! Lol
"Critical Acclaim"
"Buried Alive"
"Almost Easy"
"A Little Piece of Heaven"
"Shepherd of Fire"
"Nobody"
Afterlife is God tier
He's not ready to hear A Little Piece of Heaven😂
@@valtheguy7605 the reactions are the best when they arent ready though
Not a little piece of heaven, the series will end immediately 😭
Beast and the Harlot IS AWESOMEEEE

Keep on the good shii dude
This was the best reaction. That was fun to see your excitement for A7X Nightmare.
Your RATM video somehow came across my feed, loved it / instantly subscribed and now an epic fan! Hail to the King!
Never not gonna love Avenged Sevenfold, their songs are so iconic, and they were never stingy with music, I remember discovering them off of call of duty, they had multiple songs in the zombie mode, they even made one for cod zombies, it makes the songs so much better imo. Keep em comming. Avenged Sevenfold is soo catchy! So many amazing tracks. The stage should be next!
Ayyyy he brought em back! My man.
It's nice to see these regular uploads. Glad to have this as a regular thing, always appreciate your authenticity and appreciation for music.
chorus is very melodic, which is why its one of my favorite avenged songs. Another nice one is "dear god"
Rob, you're one of the greatest reactors on RUclips. I absolutely love your energy and your excitement. Thank you so much for all of your reactions. You are a joy to watch! I also have appreciation for your camera quality, your lighting and your editing. All around good shit.
Actually love how hype you get but it’s so genuine unlike a lot of reaction vids

Guitar HERO AVENGED SONGS.. BAT COUNTY, BEAST ON A HARLOT , BARIED ALIVE, AFTERLIFE.. 🔥🔥🙏🫡👍
"Beast And The Harlot", "Bat Country", "Buried Alive". Not "Beast On A Harlot", "Bat County", or "Baried Alive".
I think Rob's taste just makes him go off when a song sounds like the music for a really hard boss fight. A man of culture.
Bought their album 'Waking the Fallen' back in 2003 when it first came out just based on hearing one song (Unholy Confessions) and has been undeniably the greatest album purchase I ever made. Like them or not, you cannot deny that this band KNOWS how to make music. 🔥

I always find myself headbanging right along with you Rob
Your reactions are goated bro. And you're never scared to straight up say if a song is ass. W
Another phenomenal Avenged Sevenfold song is Shepard of Fire
Their intro for this song on their tour way back when this came out was so awesome! I wish their music still sounded like this.
Yes!!!!! Been waiting for this one since i found ur channel!!!
Their concerts are amazing
Glad to see u back man! I've learned so much new music thru you.Thks man!🤘🔥💫✌️😎

You HAVE to listen to Buried Alive next. One of the most intricate, beautiful and complex A7X songs.
a7x is so good, and just as you said there’s no greatest band, my favorite band changes all the time. sick to see you bring back bands that you enjoy
I loved Sieze the Day and Bat Country, those were my introduction to them many years ago. Fast forward to 5 years ago and the boyfriend I had just started dating. Listen to this atleast once a day.
Bare minimum for me lol
Bat country bat country BAT COUNTRY. Solo will blow your MIND!

A7X have so many songs, a lot of them are good, some of them are bangers, like Afterlife, Bat Country, I bet you'd like Shepherd of Fire
It’s hard to get open minded to something we’re so unfamiliar with. I admire that you still give it a shot. Love your content ❤
Beast and the harlot, Bat Country, seize the day and buried alive are some of my favorites! if you watch a live from them, their concert from the lbc in 2008 is definately the best!
I am loving how much you are enjoying this!
buried alive is an amazing song of theirs
one of their best songs imo
Dude I was just watching you listen to walk & I was like man he would love that solo in Nightmare. Low and behold lol thanks for the vid bro 🤟😎
P.S. really dig the lyrical interpretations
The drums in this song are so powerful man.
the mixing, especially on how punchy and clean everything sounds, in this entire album is amazing. So much punch in the kick and Crack in the snare, hearing the tail of every cymbal crash, and even the bells and guitars are all very clear

Rise Against was my life in highschool
This album hit #1 spot in the 2010 top 200
You should do "Bat Country" by them. Its one of my fav A7X songs and the first song i ever heard from them way back in the day. Or if you wanna hear something slower and more sentimental by them "So Far Away" is also a great song, its dedicated to their drummer who passed away.

Happy to see it, my favorite album
"A little piece of heaven" is my fav song from them. its very story centered
I'm so ready for the Avenged rabbit hole from Rob. Omg. Like let's do it.
The maniacal, half-crazed laugh when Syn kicks off doing his thing at the start gets me every single time.
Great reaction as usual
Nightmare is a fantastic track
Peace Sells when?
A little piece of heaven is probably one of their best story telling songs.
I could name their songs endlessly but my favorites are Natural Born Killer, This Means War and Buried Alive.
They are absolutely 🔥 in concert
Synyster Gates is insane on guitar
Great reaction Rob. I suggest their song Buried Alive next. They were quoted saying that it is their "Stairway to Heaven". Its like 2 songs in 1.
true, though Sidewinder felt like 2 in one as well
If you liked the length, flow, and sound of this song, then you NEED to check out their song 'Buried Alive'. I finally got to see them live in October at Aftershock in Sacramento. Their set was fucking FIRE.

Hey Rob have you tried playing around with different audiophile headphones? They can really bring depth to well recorded music.
Sick.
One good thing Ace Frehley (famous from Kiss) said was that 'The best part with rock 'n roll and metal is that it's more space for being 'the best'".
Avenged sevenfolds drummer is one of the best in the game. Dude is so fucking insane. The intricacies of what he's doing is wild.
Dude i love seeing the stank face on someone listening to music
I remember my into to A7X, it was "I won't see you tonight pt" robs reaction is spot on lol
Quality Avenged Sevenfold content: check out Almost Easy. Then look up the video of the late Jimmy "The Rev" Sullivan do the drum track for the official album version in one take.
Love that you enjoy Avenged 🤙
They took Metallica's equation and brought it to modern day.
I'm telling you, give em a shot...
Keep it up Robby 🐀
Loving the constant content dude
Definetly need to listen to Buried Alive. I think it's their best song
Didn't notice until the band pointed it out in a song breakdown, but the line "Die (Die!), Die again!!" is fuckin hilarious.
Dude!! You GOTTA do “Buried Alive” now!!
the song they did for COD zombies is still one of my favorites, you have to listen to not ready to die
Far Away is another song dedicated to the late great drummer The Rev
I've seen them 5 or 6 times now in person. This and Hail to the King are great, but A Little Piece of Heaven live is crazy.

the call of duty team paired this with their opening sequence explaining the characters and said mission. blew my mind first watch through
unholy confessions is an amazing song!!

Atmosphere is a great word to describe A7X
nightmare was my first a7x song and now its a go to whenever i listen to metal
